Ha! ha! ha! Abeg guys. I can't stop laughing. Something happened to me today that is so funny, I can't help myself. I mentioned here that Cashcraft was my first broker. After my very first transaction with them, I was so upset, I just packed my luggage run comot. They bought me about 90k units of Fidelity and I was so upset I just left everything with them. I did not even want to have anything to do with them. If anyone remembers, someone came on this thread and said they are world class and many folks screamed. Anyway, that also reminded me of my Fidelity so last week, I went to their online portal and put in a mandate to sell the around 90k units of Fidelity. Today, I logged on to my account and found they BOUGHT around another 90k units of Fidelity Bank for me instead of selling!!!!!!! Na real arm robber brokers this ones be. World class ko, gutter class ni. I am so annoyed I just have to start laughing my head off !!! I dey go house go laugh well well. |

@ orisebawo - The portfolio is definitely healthy since with what you have your capital is secure. I know what you really want to rub minds on is if you have made the right choices. Based on the options that you have, I think you've done as well as possible. It is only a pity that you only have this July this year. Leaving what you have now till July next year should see you double your portfolio without too much hassle. Good luck. |

Na better door be that one o abi until them comot am from the hinges? ;DIt you take out the effect of reconstruction, it means the stock is trading at around N2 per share. The problem is surely the high nominal price that is dragging it down. On the other hand I expect Full Year results that will make the stock fundamentally stronger than most stocks in the sector at current prices. Caveat plenty o. I get plenty inside. |

mastermove: Well, it is your money but I think this is not the right time to sell Japaul as you can deduce from all my posts yesterday. It has already shed some weight and will probably have a brief upside. That is the time to sell to minimize your loss or increase your profit. My take. Caveat Emptor. |

SuperGuy: Oya, tell me one banking stock this year that interim result has done magic for? Even FBN did not move after releasing results until they were looking for the N1 Trillion naira capitalization. Thank God for that one. I chop clean mouth one time. Was the Q-1 of UBA not fantastic or is it the Q-2 of Zenith that was not fantastic or the N25B delivered by FBN in Q-3? Diamond nko and Fidelity? See GTB moving. FY result is coming and rumour of bonus. Na that one go move something. My own sha o. |

Daddyzee: Abeg you get better broker. I am no longer friends with those stocks in bold. I have dumped them all fast. Just my opinion sha. If you have more, liquidate. Their time has not come. Caveat Emptor well well. I sold all my Diamond today and the cool cash is definitely not going into banking. Dem too dey waste my time. |
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by pumping777(m): 11:17pm On Mar 05, 2008 |
SavvyLanre: Be like me and sell all your Zenith and UBA. Yes, I sold UBA at a marginal loss sef and Zenith at a marginal gain. Caveat Emptor o. I sold all and entererd Beta Glass, CI Leasing and Lawunion. I took profit from Beta Glass and Lawunion today already. More money in a week than those 2 stocks could give me in 3 months. Those stocks were just gyrating in my portfolio for the last 3 months or so. When the time is right, I will consider the banks again. |
