Family / Re: Is De-friending People On FB And Blocking Calls A Sign Of Arrogance/pride? by purplish(f): 12:54pm On Sep 06, 2014 |
OP, weeding people out of your social circle does not in anyway connote arrogance. Think about it this way, the block button is just like the invite, like, or share button...it was created as a matter of necessity and not to show pride. I always tell people that not everyone should be granted the advantage of remaining in your social circle. It is YOUR space, and you have the exclusive right to bounce anybody that has shown that he/she doesn't deserve to be there 1 Like |
Family / 116 Days To 2015...What Are Your Next Steps? by purplish(f): 12:23pm On Sep 06, 2014 |
I was just sitting all by myself and thinking this afternoon...2014 literally sped by; We are approaching the last quarter of the year!!! At the beginning of the year, I'm sure we all had plans and goals set to be achieved before 2015. For me, I wanted to imbibe a better saving culture and be a better person generally to my family & friends...I'm afraid, I've not really achieved these goals I guess this is a wake up call for me to re-focus and make these goals achievable! What about you? What are your next steps and to-do's to wrap up the year? |

Education / Re: OAU Reopens School After Shutdown August 24 by purplish(f): 10:20pm On Aug 16, 2014 |
Emeka71: I was there when they did PUTME exams last 2 weeks on 2nd August. Same day, President Goodluck came to Ile-Ife to see the Ooni of Ife and head to Oshogbo for a PDP campaign for Omishore but on exactly following weekend. Omishore nearly lost; in fact; He lost to Aregbeshola the Governor of the State of Osun. Ile-Ife supported Omishore; Oshogbo Supported Aregbeshola. even MODAKEKE also supported Aregbe many other zones supported the governor. Oga, are we together on this thread? |

Coldfeet: Which ever your pick! please don't go for a two piece!!! Opt for a one piece bikini it gives you more coverage and holds any wobbly flesh in place! Also you can pair it with tights. Size 12 aint that biggish in my opinion unless you have a big tummy which can add bulk to a persons frame. Or if you are bold enough get a see thru hip length gown and rock it with a firm sexy two piece bikini! This will give you a feel of coverage and at the same time not make you look like the odd one out rather you'd be the center of very good attention lemme see if I can dig up some pics to drive home my points brb.Wooow! I'm loving the see through hip length idea...Thanks!!!! 2 Likes |

gothrones: I love how everyone avoided using the word "fat." When did fleshy, busty, husky, thick-boned, etc become synonyms for fat? My dear, bikinis were not made for fat people, so you should accordingly abandon your quest to contaminate the eyes of innocent gentlemen. Or do you want God to be mad at you?Oga, take a sit \____ 7 Likes |

Fashion / Swim Suit Ideas For A Chubby Chic by purplish(f): 8:45pm On Jul 06, 2014 |
Hey everyone! I'm in a very big dilemma. I've always avoided pool parties...I'm a very busty and fleshy size 12, and I'll never feel comfortable exposing all that endowment in public. However, its my close friend's birthday party this saturday and its a pool party I HAVE to get a swim suit. So I need your help. Can I have ideas of the kinds of swim suits that would be appropriate for a very busty and chubby madam like me? Pictures, names of stores anywhere in Lagos, and useful tips would be appreciated. N.B: I would love to moderately cover my _boobs_ and tummy most especially. Thank you :* 5 Likes |
