loveroftruth: Why ?

I think Seun is a reasonable Guy.

Its just unfortunate that he thought that being a "born again" will ensure unbiased moderating and the reversed is the case. Smh.

I will certainly drop my piece of mind with him concerning this mods allowing their religiouse bias to becloud their Judgment.

Even God loves fairness and Justice :

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" (Isaiah 5:20-21).
******

Justice is a beautiful thing, when for religiouse reason one looses that above, then no doubt the person has also lost God.

PoliticsGen.Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria's Messiah??? by Pygru(op): 12:47pm On Sep 03, 2013
Lagos - A former military ruler of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has called for the introduction of 'total' Islamic law across the country, reports said on Monday.

Buhari, who ruled Nigeria from a coup in December 1983 to his ouster in 1985, told a seminar in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, at the weekend that the strict Islamic law code known as the Sharia should be introduced in full across Nigeria.

"I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, quoted in press reports.

"God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country," Buhari said.

Northern Nigeria is mainly Muslim but southern Nigeria is mainly Christian and has led criticism of the introduction of Islamic law in a dozen northern states in the past 18 months.

Africa's most populous country has been shaken repeatedly in the past by religiousunrest. In February 2000 between 2 000 and 3 000 people were killed by Christian-Muslim riots in Kaduna over the introduction of Sharia.

Call for Sharia across the country
Buhari's comments were interpreted by the southern-based papers as a call for the imposition of Sharia all across the country, even in the mainly Christian south.

"Buhari calls for Sharia in all states," was the headline of the respected newspaper The Guardian.

Buhari's comments were defended by supporters as simply a call for the full implementation of Sharia in areas where Muslims predominated.

But the comments are the second by Buhari that have courted controversy after he called earlier this year for Muslims to vote at the next presidentialelections only for someone who would defend their faith.

This was criticised by the press as a call for voting along religious lines, as well as an attack on the current president, Olusegun Obasanjo, who is a Christian.

Buhari made the latest comments at a seminar organised by the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria, a newly set up body attended by northern state governments and Islamic scholars.

"It is a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria, to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly , and to educate non-Muslims that they have nothing to fear," he said.

"What remains for Muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts, educate Muslims on the need to promote the full implementation of Sharia law," he went on.- AFP

BUHARI’S GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES “WAR AGAINST INDISCIPLINE”

Nigeria's military government is stepping-up its campaign against corruption, mismanagement and indiscipline at all levels in Nigeria society.

Preliminary hearings into corruption and abuse of office against former politicians and civil administrators have already begun and on March 21 the government launched its war against indiscipline.

One of the first areas under attack is Illegal Street trading in the capital Lagos. The military government of Major-General Buhari has promulgated a decree forbidding the street trading, a major source of income for many thousands of Lagos people. Police have already begun arresting street vendors and confiscating their wares.

The campaign is also designed to foster greater personal and social discipline with Nigerians being urged to queue for buses in an orderly fashion. The crackdown on indiscipline was announced by Brigadier Tunde Idiagbon, a member of the Nigerian Supreme Military Council.

BRIGADIER TUNDE IDIAGBON: "I want you to bear in mind the need to emphasise self-discipline and leadership by good example.
Begin by drawing public attention to little but important everyday manifestations of indiscipline such as rushing into buses, driving on the wrong side of the road, littering the streets, parks and dwelling compounds, cheating, taking undue advantage of scarcity to inflate prices for quick monetary gains, constituting ourselves into public nuisances, walking without commitment and devoting little or no time to the upbringing of our children.

Up to this moment there has been no formal declaration of war against indiscipline, it is my pleasure therefore to declare today a launching day for the war against indiscipline."

The Buhari administration identified indiscipline as the bane of the nation's ills and therefore decided to fight it in all its ramifications. Hence the pre-occupation of the regime was the launching of the different phases of the War Against Indiscipline (WAI) which has become a household word in may Nigerian homes. There were five phases of WAI, namely:-

a. Queuing (March 20, 1984)

b. Work Ethics (May 1, 1984)

c. Nationalism and Patriotism (August 21, 1984)

d. Anti-Corruption and Economic Sabotage (May 14, 1985)

e. Environmental Sanitation (July 29, 1985).

Bukkyade: I salute the Op. nice analysis. The APC is an aggregation of sectional parties in Nigeria led by bigots.
Tinubu is a rogue and cannot win the confidence of most Nigerians outside south West. Buhari is a cult hero in the North but he is seen as a religious bigot by the South and Middle belt.
APC will be thorn along these lines and will not overcome the issue of Buhari's candidature.

alexleo: @Christemmbassy,

If someone has been born again and as time goes on he falls into the sin of fornication etc. do you mean that the person has not sinned? Because he is under grace?
christemmbassey: my brother take a look @ d story of d prodigal son, to his elder brother, he was a terrible sinner and deserved no mercy or welcome, but to their father, he never sined, that was why, as he rushed out to welcome d boy and d boy started convesions, d father did not even hear, his main concern was, "my boy was lost, but is now found, he was dead, but now lives, lets celebrate. Fortunately, for us christians, we have an elder brother who loves us (unlike the jealous law of Moses keeping elder brother of d prodigal son,) who d bible says "is nt ashame to call us brethren. Yes to you, he sin, but to God he never sined, bc "he can nt commit sin" 1jn 3:9, a christian is NOT 'a forgiven man' but 'a JUSTIFIED man'. He is innoscent, acquited, decleard, 'not guilty', why? Bc, every sin commited, d spirit activate a bill, grace paid up and is back dated to Calvary, IT LIKE SOME ONE DEPOSITED MONEY IN A SHOP AND GAVE A PERPETUAL STANDING ORDER, THAT ANY TIME U PICK SMTHING FROM THAT SHOP, D SHOP KEEPER SHOULD REMOVE FROM D CONTIGENCY FUND. should we indulge in sin bc of this? GOD FORBID BAD THING?. Now my bros, d man dat used to commit sin, died @ Calvary, d one dat lives now is Christ, Gal 2:20. CHRIST CAN NOT COMMIT SIN. He is holy and righteous. God bless u sir..

BERNIMOORE: im not a jw,

your case as a gay is worst than that of the jw you quoted, and were disfellowshiped,

you keep your own sin in your church as you were an ordained pastor now, God have mercy, you can see the fallacy of churches imposing their wife and children on church, where is the holy spirit for God sake.

youguys, sorry, how do you feel when you mount the pulpit?

the worst was that at churchs expence, tithe, offerings, firstfruits donations, you went out there to south africa on church mission with assistant pastor and you shamefully engage in illicit affair men to men

you are the wife, abi?

he who seeks equity must come out with clean hands

your hands are soiled, for the fact that you do all this with the churchs money, you are inviting curse on your head.

below is what you wrote by yourself;

Yooguyz:

My dad's assistant is my first and only gay lover it all started when we went for a crusade in south africa organized by our church.we(the evangelistic team) whic he's part off, used to stay in a hotel booked by the churches hosting us.so i was paired with his assistant to stay in the same room.on the second nite after the crusade dat day, i noticed he was talking about sex n sex..during the middle of the nite he was touching..strangely i was liking it and.,BAM!! Dat was it! It even continued after the crusade

my question is that, do you appologise to your fathers church?

GEJ is a man that reaches out to all across faiths, Muslim, Christian, animist etc; he is a large tent under which all Nigerians can gather. He surely isn't a scary eyed stick weilder, waiting for the opportunity to force extreme religious views on the innocent like Buhari.

I do not care if Buhari's religion is Christianity, Islam or anything else. The simple fact is that he has no right to force it on those who do not share his belief, or do you not think Buhari's stance alienates people like me who are the vast majority of Nigerians? Anyone who wishes to be president must be tolerant, it is that simple.
Forget about any campaign and face reality.
