I think you lack background knowledge about recruitment in tech and even in the job market in general.

I don't know what you meant by look down but in the business world values is given to what solve the problems of that company be it Scala, golang, or even assembly. So what's the concern about it? Why give value for what isn't the main tools to solve the problem?

Exactly the point I've worked in companies who use both, Node for SSR application to interface with their middleware in Java, these conversations of nodejs vs Java are done with, it's all bout business value. Nairaland should have gone past these kind of conversations.

No long story this time around.
There's this girl I confessed my love to 3 years ago.
This girl didn't say yes or no but kept close contact and I do spend on her when I have excess cash.

The problem is that whenever I quarrel with this girl, I have nightmares. Like serious night terrors. It's either people are chasing me with guns, I saw myself surrounded by dead bloody bodies or vampires are chasing me to devour me.

The funny part is that this girl will not say anything whenever I get angry with her. She will just keep quite and leave. We had a fight last week because she promised to come over but flaked at the last minute. I got really angry and told her to go fvck herself. She didn't reply the message and did not call. I did not call or text either but from that time to last night, I have been having serious night terrors. Last night, I dreamt that some boys with guns tried to snatch my phone. I fought one of them to the point that I almost slaughtered him. But in the end, I ran for my life.

Most men are inherently evil, in my own opinion it's why i believe evil should be met with same energy, my neighbour has been killed before so that has changed my mentality towards how I view a man capable of violence.
