Government went on to hike pump price of petrol and "suspended"that of electricity tariff. Like a thief in the night" the government yesterday brought the so called labour leaders to a midnight"dinner/breakfast"after the meal, electricity tariff has now been hiked. How do you hike electricity tariff with no corresponding meters to calculate the billing? You hiked that of petrol and the consumer can watch the dispensing and attendant bill on a meter, you hiked electricity tariff and the average consumer will simply get a dirty piece of paper , concoted in a dirty office , purporting what he consumed in a month and forced to pay. Honestly, we live in a primitive society. What a shame!!!
