No, it was denied..

In my own case, my Belgium visa application took them 53days to process ( weekends inclusive ).. So you have to be patient.

Hi, well, i'm not a professional with travelling but my years of visiting Nairaland travel section plus some visa applications and denials, i can say boldly i have some experience with travelling.

For a country like Dubai, visa is very easy and guaranteed, infact i bought my flight ticket and applied for visa 2 weeks later, that's how sure Dubai visa is but it has to be sponsored by someone from inside of the U.A.E so you need to have an agent do it for you.

With a country like Rwanda, its visa on arrival to all citizens of all countries of the world for $30 at Kigali Airporf, the capital city, they are doing that to boost tourism in their country. They even sponsored Arsenal Football Club with the "Visit Rwanda" tag om their jersey arm.

I'm planning to visit Kenya next month, with that i applied for the e-visa online, very easy and they need proof of flight confirmation and hotel you'll be staying in during your stay.

So etc, etc like that... I will advise you to start with countries that don't have tedious visa application processes or visa on arrival or visa free... Keep your passport busy first, before looking at big fish countries.

I had to post this because I need an urgent response from the public. I am a single mother and I have never been married. The father wants nothing to do with us and may even be out of the country with his wife a his kids. My child is now 1year and 3months old and I went to immigration to do our passports so we can travel. I was asked for the father's consent. How do i get custody of the child? How and where do i get a notarized letter of consent? Please what am I supposed to do to travel with my child without having problems at the embassy of the other country.

Hey OP, DivineIsGreat gave you the most suitable advice. Most single mums who want to travel change their kids name to theirs and get a male family member to stand in as the father... that way you will get your passport and visa.

I used Egytptair couple of times to middle East. They have decent and comfortable seats and there was no delay in getting my checked in luggage. The luggage allowance is two piece 23kg each and their stop over is Cairo. It's nice considering the amount. But if you want to arrive Dubai in less than 8 hours , Emirates is preferable but the max luggage allowance from Dubai is 30kg.

Two times I fly with them no such experience of missing luggages from them, only the transit at Cairo, from there to Dubai, again no alcohol in their menu, only juice and soft drinks

Because of scarcity of passport booklets, the cost is between 30 - 40k and collection depends on how your leg strong reach, from 1 week to 3 months.

I am asking this question with a heavy heart because a friend of mine told me his F1 visa application—as well as that of all intending students to the US—was denied this morning. He answered all the questions of the visa officer perfectly but he was still denied. He was aked if he is married and had kids, and he answered in the negative. Could his being single be a factor in the denial of his application? Or is there something else prompting the US embassy to deny Nigerians visas? I am really perplexed because my friend expended a lot of money to apply and gain admission to a US school. If the US doesnt want Nigerians to come to their country anymore, they can as well a formal and well publicized directive to that effect. The practice of swindling Nigerians of exorbitant visas fees must be deprecated and discouraged by the Nigerian Government.

According to my friend, all intending students for masters degree to the US were denied their visas this morning. Not even one was issued a visa. This is the height of visa discrimination and something must be done to remedy the situation. Nigerians cannot continue to waste their hard earned money to apply for visa that has already been denied by fiat of the authorities at the State Department(Foggy Bottom). We need clarity and honesty on this visa issue from US authorities. Enough is Enough.

Left to me i'll advise Nigerians to boycott US embassy, that country is over rated and full of sh*t. Focus on going to Europe and getting an EU passport, with that you can travel to US visa free for 90days .
