There better be more to this twist. No be say later they'll just tell them to return like that. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlFmPwt-3OM&pp=ygUXbmlnZXJpYSB2cyBzb3V0aCBBZnJpY2E%3D Wetin be this? No field to practice? Nawa. Tomorrow's going to be a long day. Definitely not a game for the faint of heart. At this point I'm prepared for anything. |
mank1234:No vex. Sorry sir 😁 |
Abeg what's the update on the Super Eagles lodging arrangements in SA? 🥹 |
AndSunGorilla:Dey plaayyy 🤣🤣🤣 |
Odunayaw:Oh really? Thought it was Engineering. I do am for CVE 311 that year. |
Dynamicboss:None of them wey good abeg. Una never tire for sauce? 🤣🤣🤣 |
BankyGee:Daz all o |
Elock1:E do pass physics sef. Na structural analysis 🤣🤣🤣 |
jihday:I don't mean "unknown" as in they won't know him at all or he just came out of nowhere. I mean "unknown" in terms of the fact that he's not someone they've faced before, or a player whose style and tendencies they're deeply familiar with. Yes, they'll watch tapes and all that, but it's not the same as having a scouting report on a player like Osimhen, who has been a top striker in a major European league for years and who they have actually played against at least twice. Osimhen's reputation is so huge it influences entire defensive setups. Remember how Guinea-Bissau defender got shook and scored an own goal that almost looked intentional just because Osimhen was running straight him? They'll definitely have a specific plan for Osimhen. Big emphasis on specific. For Tolu, they will also have a plan, but because he's not seen in the same caliber, their plans for him might be more generic and applicable to any striker really. Don't get me wrong, I'm expecting a hell of a fight with South Africa (I'm even more afraid for Benin to be honest) but I don't think it's outright silly to think that they will underestimate Tolu to an extent. Esther Okoronkwo was a revelation in the last Women's WAFCON. Many people didn't see her coming. Before that tournament started, the names most analysts were calling as threats in the Super Falcons squad were Oshoala and Ajibade. Funny enough, Oshoala ended up playing just one game. She came back in the finals for a couple of minutes but that was it. Maybe you guys are right and Bafana will lock our offense and throw the key away with Tolu in front, but we'll just have to wait and see anyway. |
Mujtahida:Iheanacho 🤣🤣🤣 |
Truidstarr:Hopefully Osimhen gets well soon. This is the moment for Tolu. I wish them both the best. |
Mujtahida:You're right. Although doesn't Tolu being an "unknown quantity" make him a wildcard, and possibly harder to prep against? I don't know sha. I'm just sharing my thoughts. That's why we're all here. Not all of us can be omniscient football specialists like Samueltemi337. |
Samueltemi337:Oga shift go one side make eye see front. Ojuelegba Mourinho. |
Samueltemi337:Look oga, it's not that deep. You're right, they're playing the Super Eagles, but every team adjusts their strategy based on the opponent's key players. Take away a team's biggest threat, and the opponent can afford to be a bit more adventurous. That's just football 101. It's also psychology 101. But I appreciate the feedback. Afterall na you be the most celebrated football analyst for this forum and in Nigeria as a whole. Nairaland Guardiola. Well done. |
Samueltemi337:I'm not the one going to play in Bloemfontein. I'm just a fan sitting in my house. The only thing I can do is analyze and hope. What's wrong with that? Sometimes I don't understand the way some of una dey think. |
ChrisKels:Exactly. Plus there is the possibility that the South Africans will loosen up in the defense a little because they feel we don't have any one in the squad that can bring the physicality like Osimhen. |
Ragingthunder:Lol. I'm not even saying it with hopes that Nigeria will qualify. FIFA can deduct the points and we'll still flop out. But that is on the players and the coach. So I'm not even talking on the basis of hopium. FIFA will deduct the points, I'm 1000% certain. It's only a matter of when. Historical antecedents support this as a fact. The qualifiers have to end patapata first. But I'm telling you, those points will be deducted. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plmdMru4QGo Henry just spoke my mind here. We have to win our remaining games in this qualifiers, even if we don't go to the mundial. |
FIFA is going to deduct those points from South Africa. It will happen. I'm now sure more than ever. |
MetalJigsaw:We're still playing Benin again if I'm not mistaken. As long as we beat them too, there should be no wahala. They're just a point above us. It would be a war though. Arguably tougher than Nigeria v South Africa, because we're technically in the same predicament. And you know how these minnows start playing like prime Brazil whenever they see Nigeria. |
solonnachi:Abi o. No be say when he meets South Africa now, the spirit of Onana will possess him. |
QueenJazz:I was right lol. 😂 Wasn't a late goal though. |
lbrichman2:Exactly. He's too arrogant on the ball and taking massive risks. I don't know what else he's trying to prove. |
Retracted |
Goke7:You no see the way he lie down hold am like babe after that last save? 😂 |
At least we got the 3 points. Dodgy game overall but we move. God of Osimhen abeg 🤲🏾😭😭 |
Nwabali dey make love to the ball 🤣🤣 |
This Bruno guy is poor with crosses. |
BankyGee:I never understand that Dessers yet. Dude is looking lost so far. |
Dessers wtf was that 😑 |
