I dont get it? Theres nothing to indicate she actually sold the baby? The woman was helping her look after the baby til she could pay her back? If anything the baby was being kept as collateral warranty cheesy

^^ you make sense. Esp the point of the australians. Its probably seen as less of a crime when they are using the women consensually than the women being psycologically abused via romance scams.
Or maybe what is done by the nigerians is on a much larger scale than a few white tourists that bring revenue to the country.
But i guess your right ,in the end the govt used the opportunity to be racist since there were no consequences.
Doesnt mean nigerians dont need to fix up.

maclatunji:
The truth is that you are at a point in your life where you are under pressure to get married and from your posts it seems obvious you are finding it difficult to cope. Hence, you are giving yourself excuses for your predicament.
And this is it, i actually really like this topic and believe its a fantastic question. Unfortunately it got sidetracked by bitter old men.

Nevertheless, not having a partner or not being able to handle a matured relationship or marriage is not a reason to shit on those that do. We all agree marriage isnt cumpolsory, one just needs to take that fact and remember it for a fulfilling life.
Although i sincerely believe most of the female haters here do want to experience marriage the perks and problems that come with it.
No, it isn't your fault if the women are gullible.  However, it is their fault for selecting bottom of the gutter demon spawns.  Women needs to learn not to settle for gutter trash and the world would be a much better place.

There is a huge difference between boys and men.  Just because a boy is 18 doesn't define a man.
Why must soo many of these bottom trash men be nigerian giving us a bad name?
Why must our culture embrace this?

@claremont The thread wasn't for you. I asked you show proof of this 'fact' you keep running around deceiving everyone with!

Romance › Re: The State Of Our Nigerian Men by queensmith: 9:07am On Feb 05, 2012
kmt- is it today you are realising? its been a long time females are being told to stay weary of Nigerian men.

Nigerians tell their children to avoid naija men.

I dont know what globalisation has to do with it, its a result of nationwide moral bankrupcy and the countries poor state.

Regardless indians have it hard to and the men dont run around frauding women, Nigeria is also not the only country that has it bad.

the culture has alot to do with it, glorifying criminalities. tis a shame really.
Romance › Re: Love& Culture by queensmith: 8:33am On Feb 05, 2012
Well, things are always better away from ones home country i guess.

The problem is the behavior of the freshers when they land.

Ie preying on women with children and families for their selfish interests.

Its not even just africans. Carribeans too are the same.

Im sure even brits do it when leaving for other countries. But its sad there are many ways to obtain a visa.

Its not compulsory one sets out to destroy lives and dampen spirits in the process.

Fresh off the boat, a somewhat derogatory term for people fresh from africa.
Romance › Re: Abeg Guys, What Can Make A Single Lady Say She Is Not Interest In Single Guys. by queensmith: 8:15am On Feb 05, 2012
Well some couples do like. Swingin!

I agree mbj, women shouldnt be afraid. But its also not right to hold those principles. No one party is exonorated.
I wouldnt want my child or my sister having those principles so i wont over look them.
Im not afraid of anything. It justs disgusts me to see women like alicia keyes wreck homes and families for their selfish interests.
Then on the other hand the women are to blame for marrying such men. I have been saying for way too long that women dont seem to think much when they choose husbands.

Seriously! what is the appeal of freshers anyways!
Thats why my uncle has always been adamant we never bring a fresher home,

^^ thats the thing, for most the problem may not be there without women intentionally going out to seduce married men.

Im even on the wrong side here- I never defend men or women that cheat on thier spouses. Its just hearing of this case that makes me wonder. I still have strong feelings against her principles regardless of whether or not married men want to cheat.

You should respect another womans home.

Romance › Re: Abeg Guys, What Can Make A Single Lady Say She Is Not Interest In Single Guys. by queensmith: 11:24pm On Feb 04, 2012
^^ i see your point but this isnt about the cheating husband. this is about a woman who INTENTIONALLY goes out to ruin families.

I do know the blame cannot be pushed on her but it doesnt help for a woman to hold these sort of principles. I say this as a woman trying to understand where she is coming from.
Fine it takes 2 to tango but its still dissapointing to hear of women that behave this way.

well, there is a harm to his ego by turning him down. If his feelings or friendship is important to you then you can break it to him gently.

if not let the dude f*** off and go sulk elsewhere! there is no time for running around the male ego.

For me I find a dude is more decent when he actually WANTS to be your friend FIRST and hang out with you before jumping to make you his gf.

It shows me he's not the type to simply chase everything in skirt and has a genuine interest.
