No one loves lagos more than Oba of Lagos if you disobey him them be prepared because he has a lot of power whether you like it or not

Lagos has always been rich compared to other african towns because of the welcoming nature of the inhabitants. Oba kosoko was the one who welcomed them the british who where interest in palm oil and then other things, they only lived in lagos island victora island and apapa. they did not venture out of those areas.

Politics › Re: WHO OWNS LAGOS? by quickly: 3:08am On Apr 10, 2015
Who else ?

Lagos only began a part of nigeria in 1900 and oko or eko ( lagos island alone is eko) had been a trading spot where human and trade of goods where going on

Nigerias go they form lie thank God we are all not dumb

LAgos has always been rich because yoruba has been doing business with europeans. the same europeans went to se and ss and they ran away because the people there were not open and accomodating thus the europeans decided to live with the yorubas in lagos to abeokuta

have u seen cotonu very nice and peaceful. All this selling of second hand goods that was collected from trash from europe and china is that center of excellence.

We are talking about visionary leadership which is missing like fashola and the rest.

AD which later became APC are following Awolowos prinicples that made western region the best region back in those days.

Are some igbo not causing nusiance in lagos why igbo of all the 250 tribes.

If una get sense una suppose ask una self question.

Even in North people complain about that 20% that is given ibo ppl a bad name.

Another thing that annoys Lagosians about igbos is when you say there land is a no mans land that is very annoying and those words can cause war.

Politics › Re: Yoruba Ronu! You Stand To Lose By Voting PDP (jimi Agbaje) In Lagos by quickly: 11:40pm On Apr 08, 2015
VirginFinder:
Let me start by saying I have nothing personal against Jimi Agbaje.
It's just that I am not comfortable with his environment and the tide he is trying to ride to power.

Fellow Yorubas, make no mistake about it, Jimi Agbaje is more or less a candidate of the ibos and a coalition of most of the non Yorubas in Lagos.
Infact, ibos were already eyeing the deputy governorship slot under him before common sense prevailed and the idea was shelved.

Jimi Agbaje hopes to ride to power on the back of the anti Yoruba sentiment held by most ibos and non Yorubas in Lagos.
For that reason, supporting him will be foolhardy.

There is nothing more Yorubas can gain under a Jimi Agbaje administration that they have not gained in the previous administrations and even incoming Ambode's.
Rather, there is everything to lose! Let me explain:

1. Political appointments:
Jimi Agbaje has promised ibos more political appointments than they currently enjoy. What this means is that prominent, qualified Yorubas will have to give way in key ministries for ibos to occupy. Tinubu had to create a ministry from thin air to accommodate Ben Akabueze as commissioner cos he just couldnt replace a Yoruba with an ibo man. How many more will Jimi Agbaje create? Yorubas will just have to give way. Who loses? Yorubas.

2. Civil service/parastatal jobs:
With a substantive number of ibos holding political positions in Lagos, there is bound to be a huge influx of ibos into the civil service. Jimi Agbaje cannot afford to run an overbloated civil service. Hence, Yorubas will have to give way to accommodate the huge incoming ibos.
Who loses? Yorubas.
Sometime ago I was watching Sunrise Daily on Channels and an ibo APGA house of assembly candidate in Lagos was lamenting the overwhelming majority of Yorubas in LASTMA, KAI, LAWMA etc. He started calling for inclusion of all ethnic groups.
This is a classic example of what I am talking about.

3. Contracts:
Trust ibos to start competing with Yorubas for choice contracts in Lagos and even trying to outsmart them one way or the other. With fellow ibos in political positions, they'll have a good fighting position.
Who loses? Yorubas.

4. ibos are insatiable ingrates. If you give them an inch, they'll ask for a yard.
In no time, they'll want to become deputy governor and then governor. They dont mind having everything even the palace.

5. And so on and so forth.

How to checkmate the ibos:
Simple. Let us shun party affiliations and vote the APC candidate, Akinwumi Ambode.
With Jimi Agbaje already having most ibos and non indigenes in his bag, splitting our votes senselessly will be disastrous.

But if we can all vote for Ambode, you can be sure that we will emerge victorious against any alliance of non indigenes led by ibos.We are no doubt in the majority.

The matter at hand is beyond APC vs PDP. It is now a straight contest between the Yorubas and the ibos.

Let us join hands together and put them to shame.

Do you have any grouse against Tinubu? Please just keep that aside for now. All the issues will be resolved in-house.

ibos are set to break the Yoruba hegemony in Lagos using Jimi Agbaje and we must not allow them.

If Jimi Agbaje emerges, ibos will take the glory for it without minding if Yorubas voted for him or not.

A Yoruba adage says:
Omo eni o le s'edi bebere kafileke si idi omo elomin.

Yoruba ronu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please spread the message.
Agbaje is a political from PDP for that matter

Why are ppl lying is it not poverty that is causing for the migration from SE to SW. Even in states like Ogun, Oyo, Ondo the population of igbo is growing steadily.

Lagos would have been a beautiful tourist city if not for over migration just as it was in the 60s when it was less crowded.

It would have been a less populated place where infrastructure lasts longer just like cotonu which is a very clean city .

Population control is needed in lagos or else the whole place will sink into altantic.

Liegeria:
Those Igbo leaders are cowards for not being able to stand up to the king. All of them were shouting Kabiyesi, none could even stand up to be counted. Yet they are the ones shouting everywhere now. Cowards.

The king should thread carefully and behave wisely. Power is transient. If Akinolu is wise, he would stay far away from politics. He can still support Ambode without showing it to the whole world.

I prefer Ambode to Agbaje but I am not fanatical about it. If Agbaje wins, he will be under intense pressure to perform inorder to keep his seat. So, it's still a win for Lagos. If Ambode wins, he will also perform. So, it's still a win for Lagos.

please this is not funny because my friend confided in me even though he never wanted to share this with anyone but he is now afraid of the unknown consequences, according to him, since he started sleeping with his wife after their marriage she began to have long intervals on her menstrual period, e.g 2 months plus before she sees her period and even if it comes it doesn't flow like before again, and now he needs to be sure that is not because of his big manhood, he told me he needs to apply lubricants before he can manage to even penetrate her.
please this is a serious issue, the wife is 22 yrs and childless for now.
so doctors in the house can a man's big size affect the regular timing of the menstrual period and its blood flow.
thanks for your urgent response as me and my friend follow thread.

The real change is when politician fear the public and respect rule of law.

Not only politicans but ordinary workers ,
When u misappropriate funds that is meant for a project and u know nothing will happen then the country can never progress even if Jesus is president .

Before it was GEJ was a shoeless man he will do the right thing .

We will see if Nigerians r stupid or wise for choosing Buhari .
