I am really taking care of the bird. I make sure I buy it fruits almost every day. It is well fed. How will you feel if you find such a precious thing. I realized it cost about $2000 in the US. I will sell it soon by God's grace
Would you like someone to lock you up and feed you well?

Before we advice we have a question:
Is our brother you?
Also, how many children does our brother have and what are their ages. Also, is his wife working or will they be dependent on him?

How will you like to be caged if you had wings - instead of being free to roam as you wish? Teach it to always come back for food then set it free
Romance › Re: How Women Can Take Over Power From Men by QuinQ(f): 2:29am On May 16, 2025
That village is TOTALLY WRONG. A man has to be aroused to erection for sex to happen. A woman's vj should be mysterious and hard to get to. That's a big part of what arouses a man. Also, man is an animal. In the animal kingdom males go after females, clothes or no clothes
Crime › Re: Police Arrest 5 In Lagos For Selling Two-week-old Baby For N3million by QuinQ(f): 11:56pm On May 15, 2025
Gossipcelebs:
No be to talk say infant is in good care will u take care of the baby or will u force the 16 year old who doesn't want it to take care of it? They call it baby factory I call it saving lives. Government should just look into this baby something not just arresting. Sometimes we use logic than laws. Even Jesus broke the law by healing a sick man on sabath day. The only problem with this baby factory of a thing is that the parents taking the babies are not aware that they are not the biological parents. If Government can make sure evrything is done right. They should allow people that don't want it give it to who want it. Before u shout adoption ask person wey don do am. Someone did legal adoption the baby don dey walka process never finish. I don't even know if it's the lawyers or the law
The next thing we will see babies in gutters because adoption laws are so strict and so expensive. Atleast these babies been thrown in gutters are more beautiful. A 16 year old girl pregnant with her parents who are adult fully aware don't want a baby and it's your problem. The problem should be who is paying for this baby. If its a couple, and every family is aware and in support what is the government problem when the baby will still have a better life.
The problem is slippery slope and unintended consequences. You have simply legalized baby factory - people will herd girls and force them to birth babies which will then be sold. How can you prove it's not all voluntary?
Politics › Re: Soludo, THIS Is How You Build A Road In A Civilised Society by QuinQ(f):
Kemetian:
My brother just imagine how beautiful that street would have looked if they just built it the right way?

Everything is there. The nice houses. The tarred road.

Ok, just do the final touch by adding a wide sidewalk on either side of the road, with covered drains, and that street would look like Miami, Florida.

We don't lack anything in this country.

We just refuse to use our brains, that's all.
That's what happens when you do something out of show-off and not because you care

Not possible in our lifetime. Same way shift from Twitter or Facebook or even Nairaland is not possible. Mind you, they are just apps anybody can equally copy and create exactly. Likewise with dollar, there won't be any major shifting from it anytime soon

that is not what I asked you.

1. How is shaking hands with anybody an achievement?

2. If its such a big deal, which of the people you mentioned have you and all your generation shook hands with?
I'm sure you're not totally dumb. I already answered your questions:
1. Because NOT everybody can do it - example, your generations
2. President Tifnubu

See my signature. All this to what end? Just reading all this is already stressful, talkless doing them!grin
Why not just enjoy your life and do your best. Don’t kill yourself with striving - if you'll be great you'll be great.
Anyway, one day we'll all be dead and none of this will matter! cheesy
Ecclesiastes is right - all na vanity, a chasing after the wind!

It is actually a very good write-up

Final Word: You Owe the World Your Greatness
Copied
You don't owe the world a damned thing.
The only thing you owe the world is to be yourself, fully and unapologetically - because there will only ever be only one of you in all of existence, and if it is lost because you're trying to be Beyoncé, that's very sad indeed!

I wanted you to put it out - you never know who will see it. Nairaland is very big.
I'll pass it on to my staff. I personally don't hire and don't interfere (chain of command) - so if anything goes wrong they'd be no stories

no be naija?

it is in the abroad you can actually vet people. over here what you see is what you get. i am sure you have read different horror stories of trusted servants setting their ogas up for kidnap.

and people direct from abroad are simply too trusting. what they see as kindness and treating help humanely is seen by the help as mumuness and weakness
Omoapena:
give her few years, she will move back, let her have a taste of the economy and the insecurities.
You people are talking as if US is the safest place on earth and Naija the unsafest - despite what we read on news everyday

In Summary...!

Thanks to working and earning abroad, she can now Iive far more comfortably than average Nigerians while back in Nigeria.

I hate it when people beat around the simple truth...! tongue
RodgersAkpafu:
The honest truth
But how many people do this? Most get stuck abroad one way or another. So that "go and make money and come back and enjoy it" is a pipe dream
