Here are His EXACT words (let's limit it at words from Jesus Himself since His disciples can't know better than Him):
"NO ONE takes my life from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again."

Let's study that and see if there is any indication in that statement that He lacked the capacity to resurrect Himself

You are saying what you don't know and lack the capacity to know - just as the disciples could never have known what they were asking for when they were asking to sit at Jesus' right hand.

Note the tense in John 10:18. He was talking of something that is yet to happen not choice he already made.

To claim that Greek "I Am" is the same as Hebrew "I will be", is very ridiculous & baseless.
