contigiency:How will Onu get the winning votes to clinch the ticket in the APC primaries against the likes of Osibanjo, Fayemi, Fashola, Amaechi, Akpabio, Oshiomole etc? |
sonature1:Next time you see updates about the new railways, ports and other facilities being built in other parts of the country, remember your statement and swallow your tears in silence. |
aolawale025:Despite picking periwinkle in Otueke for the past 5 years? Fear God. GEJ and Stella Oduah's legacy was in wonderfully renovating and upgrading our Airports into Seaports. Akanu Ibiam after GEJ magic -

What a beautiful, befitting gateway to the centre of commerce. The old, faithful MAKIA terminal (later facelifted Kwankwasiyya style) really needed to be retired after several decades. I expect that facilities for handling bulk air cargo were also provided to facilitate the export drive of the current administration. Kudos to the FG for being alive to this responsibility.

DMerciful:I think you already know the answer to the first part of your question. The second part is however untrue. Don't you remember the quit notice issued to Biafrans by Arewa last year? What happened? Did Igbo elders not go begging El-Rufai and other Northern Traditional rulers cap in hand to be allowed to stay in the North? Or have you been living under a rock? You really think your typically selfish & greedy Igbo elites whose investments are scattered all over Nigeria and enjoy juicy appointments and govt contracts will truly initiate any concrete moves towards breaking up the country and killing their golden goose? Wake up, nobody is holding you but yourselves. Above all, the fact is there are only 2 possible ways for Biafrans to secede from Nigeria. By diplomacy (legally through the national assembly) or war. Nobody will hand you a referendum/secession on a platter (which require majority votes from across Nigeria to amend the constitution to allow referendum), just like nobody will hand you the Presidency for free. Let that sink in. So while Nigerians may not like Biafrans due to their nature, it is false that they don't want them to go or are the ones stopping them from leaving.

oyatz:All political fingers are not equal. Well said. |
We are still considering your love letter...so keep quiet. gwafaeziokwu:

gwafaeziokwu:Why didn't #30 on almajiri plates stop them from flinging Jonathan back into his canoe? Was he that clueless not to know? Why didn't it put ObiChina in Aso Rock? Clowns ![]() Sure you don't need Presidency...that's why you're licking up your smelly vomit all over the place... ![]() Igbos are now suddenly in love with the janjaweed_ amala terrorist party APC... They are suddenly eternally grateful to Jubrin El Sudan Haq haq haq... ![]()
|
Yet they are the reason you are so politically frustrated that you are now suddenly forming emergency committees to build "Nyamiri - Arewa 3rd Mainland bridge" ![]() Clowns that as at last year were chanting Igbo doesn't need presidency... ![]() Jokes on you bro . gwafaeziokwu: |
gwafaeziokwu:Why don't you come and get it? Serial political loser feeling funky. You will cry and beg for Almajiri votes and will lose as usual ![]() Even the transformer dey laugh you. |
I'm sure you understood my statement clearly. Haven't got time for political nonentities. 2023 will be won by the SW with our support, your desperate unity and votes begging are dead on arrival. Keep yapping. gwafaeziokwu: |

Arewa Rising! Kudos to Ganduje, PMB and all the promoters of this venture. |
When your youths and IPOB are still hating and insulting the same people you're trying to get support from? Still calling PMB and northerners derogatory names and running their mouths on social media? Still screaming "Afonja" & "Almajiri" at the top of their lungs? This is akin to fetching water with a basket ![]() |
DMerciful:You do not deserve any political favors from the North for obvious reasons I've already pointed out. This is getting repetitive and boring. Nothing was done for Yorubas. The South was allowed the first shot at democratic rule in 1999 because of the sacrifices of Abiola, 1993 annulment & previous Northern domination in power through the military. Besides, not only have you eroded the northern goodwill you might have had in the past with your constant insults and attacks on the North/PMB post 2015, but you have obstinately asserted your outright refusal to make amends and build political bridges to reach your desired destination, to the point of preferring secession. Just like "it is not in your nature to beg", it is not in our nature to concede. Let us enjoy the dance, shall we? |
DMerciful:You voted Atiku (who certainly wasn't the northern favorite) out of hatred for Buhari and love for Obi. Nobody is fooled. Whatever northern goodwill you had before then was eroded with your post Jonathan anti-Buhari/anti-north antics. Your last statement brings us back to square one. Why should we? Digest it and Good night. QuotaSystem: |
DMerciful:I also don't want to be ruled by who I don't want to be ruled by. If you want to rule, you will learn to stoop to conquer. You cannot refuse to support the North and its candidate, insult the North, grandstand and refuse to make amends, yet expect support of the majority North with their votes You will beg. You're already swallowing your vomit and stylishly begging APC for inclusion. Wake up and smell the coffee. |
There are only two ways to leave Nigeria. Diplomacy (which you clearly hate) or War (which you've already threatened but are incapable of). Don't kid yourself. Its your call. P. S - Nobody "subtly designed" Igbos out of the political process. Have you forgotten how you were the pillars of Jonathan's 6 year presidency just recently? You have now simply played yourselves out of relevance through politics of emotions, hatred and hubris. DMerciful: |
kehinde1588:Honestly their delusion is out of this world ![]() |
kettykin:I can see you're clearly more interested in Blood and War than mending fences and doing the needful for your political survival. It's your call. Even more interesting about your rant than the fact that you have no existing army or military capacity, is that in the last 4 years that PMB has been building economic and military ties with the likes of Russia and China, Igbos have been doing the exact opposite globally from the U.S to Asia and South Africa thanks to their drugs and crime global development exploits that has seen them profiled, attacked, expelled and killed across these places. I learnt and saw that they're now specifically refusing Igbos entry to some Asian countries. Bridge Burners Extraordinaire. Yet somehow you think you have the internal or external clout to fight Nigeria and her allies. Lol. We have been down this road before. Brawn over Brains. Ojukwu had more fury but even he wasn't this thoughtless or ill prepared. It's your call. |

DMerciful:Why should the North suddenly be interested in supporting the SE in its political quest or even be concerned about it? To the point of even making power concessions in their interest like you're begging for? What support has the SE given the North to even expect such support? Insults? Constant antagonism? Hatred and blackmail against their much loved PMB? 5% protest block votes against their favorite candidate? I mean what really? Do you now see how you people play politics like thoughtless toddlers? I hope you now get the picture. As to your first question, you need to outplay Yorubas by mending fences and building better alliances or else just like you fear, an Igbo man will continue to be beaten silly by any Yoruba man (or 12 year old kid) on the same ticket in any national election in this country for the next 100 years. |
0monnak0da:Calm down bro, we are on the same team of busting incredulous Eboe/Ibo lies and revisionism. He was just suggesting ways the thread could make FP so the truth will reach a wider audience. No vex. Your points are crystal clear and rock solid regardless. They contested against the SW in 1999. They supported GEJ in thwarting zoning in 2011. They can only fool themselves. In 2019 when Atiku and Buhari (North) were frontrunners, did they not still present Moghalu & Oby? Nobody is ceding any presidential ticket to the SE. Especially not APC. |
alhassanyusuf29:My apologies, just seeing this, took a brief break from the forum. I think most Governors in the North have underperformed generally considering the potentials of their states, but Kwankwaso deserves commendation for his strides as governor. I'm yet to be impressed by Mutawalle considering his pedigree which prompted great expectations, hopefully he consolidates in his final tenure. Bafarawa in my opinion is rather undercelebrated considering the visible transformation of the Sokoto metropolis that was the hallmark of his tenures as Governor. Katsina Governors (Masari et al.) have been "just there". |
This is just brilliant. Who would have imagined? Surame. It tells of the great civilizations that existed as far back as the 15th Century before the invasion of the white imperialist invaders, that had already built great cities and armies of stone and iron, had complex administrative systems and were deep in divinity. Just imagine the kind of epic flick that can be made out of this excellent script if it gets into the right hands. Imagine the tourism revenue it would potentially generate when finally listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site and developed according to the stated plans. Even more exciting is its in my own state. Sakkwatawa & Kabbawa ga namu. Kudos OP. Fp worthy cc: Seun Lalasticlala Mynd44 |
You must work for it. You must mend fences and build bridges with the North and other parts of the country. You must be diplomatic. You must humble yourselves and seek winning votes from Nigerians without petty threats or futile blackmail. You must jettison Biafra and the idea that it can be used to coerce Nigerians. By now you must know how useless that 'strategy' is. If not you will NEVER smell the Presidency even if it will unite heaven and earth. Get to work and stop sounding like a broken record. |
PaChukwudi44:Actually yes. At least I can speak for myself and my circle. Even PMB will most likely endorse a Yoruba as successor. Ango appears to be a total nutcase but he is just acting a script. The unity of this country is at stake. |
Esseite:This kind of thinking is why Nigerians can't take you seriously. |
kayusely70:This is exactly what the likes of Esseite should be advocating for, and not trying to convince Nigerians in vain to gift their valuable votes to people that do nothing but hate, insult and continuously oppose them. 3 years is ample time to make amends, build bridges and take practical steps towards Igbo presidency instead of dreaming of APC magically giving them their ticket to make it an all Igbo affair in 2023. |
immhotep:Actually he loves every part of this country as much as they love him. The railway you're wailing about is proof. |
GMbuharii:Are you then saying GEJ didn't favor the East? Why then did they keep voting the ineffectual buffoon? Therein lies the REAL confusion. Of course every Nigerian will conclude he favoured the east the most, based on the way they wanted to die for his failed re-election so you can't blame anyone. |
gloriaunobi:When will Nigerians be free from all the insults and maltreatment meted on them by Igbos? You plant yam. You reap yam. |
