Ghost means something you can’t see... it’s system glitch... it has gone back to normal so it’s okay

“Ghost mail” is not a system glitch. It means something is being updated in your account.
I received ghost mail twice before my gcms notes arrived, and I confirmed those “ghost mails” with my gcms notes because the process of my eligibility review was being updated on those days which led to me receiving ghost mails.

Ghost mail is when you login to your GCKEY, and instead of seeing your current status as “submitted”, you’ll see it as “Application/profile updated” but when you open further, you won’t see any visible changes. But trust me, changes is being done underground.

It isn’t a positive sign or a negative sign, it just means work is being done on your application.

After 4½ months of waiting i should withdraw my application. Did you even understand a thing i wrote cuz i dont know where your response is coming from. So me am not strong willed or i dont have grace. I only implied that ppl that might get affected by the delay to have a back up plan. Even if one has faith as big as mount Everest its good practice to have a plan B in life. Nigerians have an abysmal 11.8% visa Approval rating with IRCC i didn't make that up its d stats. Plus its just an opinion.

Someone on this platform has gotten ppr in his portal before he received email 7hours later. Ppr can actually be updated in your portal before you receive email from ircc

Good day everyone, please I need answers to the following questions. I'm in a dilemma:

1. My application was submitted in Feb for may intake, I couldn't get my visa before classes started and I had to defer the admission to sept. I tried uploading the new admission but couldn't upload it. Now my visa is out. Do I still need to let IRCC know about the new admission and if yes how do I go about it.

2. I have paid my tuition deposit of 2650cad for centennial college which is how I got my acceptance letter, although It was started on the acceptance letter that I should pay the first semester fees at a due date but I couldn't cos my visa wasn't out which i told the school. I have been previously denied visa(been on this Canada ish since 2020). My question now is do I have to pay the first semester tuition fee before going cos of port of entry Palava. The banks are saying it will take months before school gets it cos of limited FX.

3. I used my dad which is my sponsor fixed investment account as proof of fund and the maturity of the investment is ending of this July which means it would have been liquidated before I get to Canada. Do I still need to submit this investment certificate and statement as proof of fund at the point of entry or can I use his 4month bank statements with enough funds as proof of funds at point of entry.

You need to give them the residential address in your application. Even if it’s an address in Nigeria, they’ll still help you to make enquiry. So don’t fret

Just wanted to find out if only when one resides in Canada, he/she can contact an MP for information / inquiries, because many has advised in the group to send mail to MP, especially after several mails / webforms to IRCC and no response..

You don’t have to reside in Canada before you can contact an MP.
I contacted an MP about two weeks ago and the MP helped me to enquire about my study permit.
It seems that particular MP don’t want to help your friend.
I’d suggest your friend should contact other MPs near the school location.

Its that leki boss that bursted my head given informations I’ve been looking for even for free man I was shocked and @show young was billing me for everything low key. Baba even ask to collect 40k before he can tell me how to pay for my school fees after I was given admission because I did admission myself. Asking for money for his service is not a crime. You agreed to pay him. Stop being a cry baby and stop looking for unnecessary attention.
I’ve been reading people’s post on this platform for months now, and I can say that showyoung has answered as much questions as Leki. Don’t paint showyoung bad because he requested for the fee you both agreed on. You knew you could get answers to your questions here for free but instead you decided to pay for those answers.. don’t make him feel bad for that because it was your decision to pay!

I’m sure if you had asked questions on how to apply for visa by yourself or for documents needed for visa application on this platform.. or whatever question it may be, you would have gotten answers for free on here.

I contacted a MP concerning my application earlier this week and I got this response today as regards my eligibility from IRCC

“Your eligibility states that the office recommends an interview. This will need to be scheduled, and the office will contact you when they wish to conduct the interview. Due to this it is considered a non-routine case and will be outside of the processing time”

Please any advice or suggestion?

The processing time on the IRCC website says 12 weeks processing time and your application is over 12 weeks already which has passed normal processing time

By the way, aside Nairobi IRCC office, have you sent webforms and mails to other IRCC offices?

I only sent webform to Nairobi IRCC office and emails to Nairobi, Lagos and Abuja.

As regards the bolded, item one is yes. All she need is well detailed and explanatory purpose of visit in the SOP, aligned to her job and what she stands to gain from acquiring such degree.

For item 2, she may need to do the research by herself or wait for a guru with detailed list of such course and school offering them.

A friend of mine studied biochemistry and she graduated in 2018.

However, she is a make-up artist and she has been working as a make-up artist since she graduated university. Her make up business is also registered and she makes good income.

She wants to go for a post graduate course that relates to her make up business. Will the visa officer see the PG course related to make-up as a career progression?
If so, Please what schools can she apply to in Canada for a make-up/cosmetics related courses.
