The problem with you igbos is that you always want to use your way of life or how you run your things in the SE as a yardstick to measure others. That your question might be applicable in SE, not in anywhere in the SW. Yoruba is one. Know this and give yourself peace of mind. |

thatigboman: when dangote, an hausa man, has bought half of lekki and igbos have bought the rest of the urban part of lekki. lekki real indigenes have no lands to sell anymore. That's what they are trying to tell you that the land u bought in Lekki still belongs to the indigenous owners. You're only given a certificate of occupancy that lasts for 24yrs. The land is not transferable as inheritance to any beneficiary and u cannot resell it without the approval of the Lagos State Governor, the custodian on behalf of the indigenous land owners. |

Growing up in the north those days, we paid school fees, etc as non-indigenes while our indigenous friends got all the favours.
May just be the way to go now. Even till today in SE, non indigenes pay like 4x of what indigenes pay as school fees in their public schools. |

achillesfoot: . The Binis owned Lagos by conquest and named it Eko... Meaning military camp. Envious lesser tribes created the platform for the invasion and eventual fall of the Benin.. Then history was rewritten.. Lagos belongs to Benin, yet no single member of Idejos (the land owners) has Benin ancestry. Eko is short form of Ereko (Oko) part of pepper farmland given to the immigrant Prince from Bini by Aromire family. |

They've been poking Yoruba people in the eyes for far too long, but finally, they are reaping what they sow.
We have folks from other ethnic tribes all over Lagos and the coexist peacefully, they go about their business without any anti host friction, but not the anti social, tribal, abusive, crude, crass, and lawless Interlopers from far away villages in the SE.
I actually thank Igbo people for waking us up with their insults and abuse, they took advantage of our tolerant and passive nature, but no more, enough is enough . In fact, their diatribe and unruly behaviour is a blessing in disguise for the indigenous owners. |

Politics › Re: LP & IPOB Vs NCNC & Zikist Movement by Raf4: 12:18pm On Jun 03, 2023 |
AntiZikist: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Like LP and IPOB, the NCNC , after being hijacked by Azikiwe like the way Obi hijacked LP, a militant wing dedicated to Zik's Marxism ambitions rose within the party.
This same Zikist movement was a violent terrorist group like our IPOB and was the first indigenous movement to be proscribed by lawful order in April of 1950 after a failed assassination attempt on a colonial figure .
The Zikist movement will fade to the background after the proscription and Zik did a change of tune towards a peaceful transition to his Marxist utopia by adopting to concentrate on independence struggle .
Note: Zik was more interested in ushering Marxism through a violent uprising than fighting for independence and was even a traitor to other independence movements when he saw they were gaining momentum among the populace.
To Zik, only his hijacked NCNC should emerge as leaders of a revolutionary Marxist Nigeria and since their failed militant attempts in 1950 failed, Zik began his independence struggle but was also a mole truncating other parallel movements . Zik even demanded that the British arrest and try Awolowo and his Action Group for high treason after Enaharo moved the motion for independence in 1953.
Zik saw the Awolowo led Action movement gaining more momentum than his useless deluded Marxist group and was willing to stall Nigeria's independence over his political rivalry with Awolowo.
This is the sick nature of the man Azikiwe and how he was ready to throw other independent movements under the bus so as to emerge as the only political movement post independence.
It is for this reason Zik adopted the Menshevik approach to his Marxist utopia.
In one of several of his bird cage writings, Zik stated that Nigeria should transit to full Marxism via Democratic means aka soft approach aka Menshevikism.
But all this will change after the so-called minority peoples of the blighted Igbo dominated eastern region were set to leave the east for good.
Zik will then rekindle and ignite his Zikist drones to go full Bolshevik in order to prevent the minority regions from leaving the east. To Zik, such an emancipation movement of the already Igbo weary Niger Deltans trapped in the lumped colonial borders of the old east, would see to more nationalist ambitions to the detriment of his Marxist ambitions. This coupled with uncontrollable greed for the newly discovered oil wells in the lower Niger Delta , saw to Zik applying the hard approach aka Bolshevism in 1966.
You can not exonerate the Igbo dictatorship that emerged from the Igbo led coup of Jan 15, 1966 with that of Zikism and Zik.
Even Ironsi made mention of one of five cornerstone manifestos earlier outlined by Zik during his national address ushering decree 34. In that speech, Ironsi bemoaned ethnic rivalry and traditional institutions as a major clog to national unity. If the Ironsi Igbo quasi military dictatorship had not been overthrown, traditional institutions, cultures and languages would have been proscribed as is the case with every Marxist revolution.
So when you read or hear of an IPOB lout accusing you of being a tribal bigot , note that your proud cultural herritage is a threat to their lame Igbo Marxist ambitions to rule their betters.
The LP Anarcho Zio Marxists are no different from the Zikist Terrorists.
You owe them no apology . You perfectly put it. After the demise of great Herbert Macaulay, zik totally igbonised NCNC and utterly bastardized the party's philosophy. |

Politics › Re: Orji Uzor Kalu : Another Anti SS Igbo Zikist by Raf4: 3:42pm On Jun 02, 2023 |
JpBiz92: yea, Igbos hijacked the government and rubbished it for him according to the propaganda being circulated in South West. Yorubas rallied round Buhari and together with North voted him into power and Buhari became the best president in the history of mankind. Yorubas blindly voted for tinubu after Buhari and there is enormous suffering from very first day tinubu was sworn in. Information filtering around suggests that tinubu wants to slash the corpers allawee to 25k. This same tinubu that sees slashing corpers allawee as a way of saving the economy still has all the entitlements he allocated to himself and his family as a former governor of Lagos state intact.
We keep lying to ourselves in this country and always trying very hard to believe those lies as the truth. Yorubas are the reason why the south cannot unite. A beg make we hear word. Yorubas were in the opposition for decades without insulting igbos. Why are you always offensive about other people's choice. You people are free to vote whoever you like, no one cares here. |

Politics › Re: Buhari - Nigerians Must Unite Against Fulani by Raf4: 2:15pm On Jun 02, 2023 |
Antitankweapon: Buhari deliberately refused to support Igbo presidency to spite the SE. This fact is as clear as daylight. I am not Igbo. I am from Benue State but let me remind everyone that Igbos are indigenous Nigerians. Igbos are Nigerians by nature. Nigeria is their one and only home and the igbos would come first before the fulani.
The Fulani are not indigenous Nigerians. If migrant Buhari thinks he can mistreat the Igbo and go free, then he is in for a shocker. Fellow Nigerians would stand up for their brothers.
I am in pains because a perfect opportunity to heal the wounds of the civil war and reunite Nigerians for the future is almost lost. Except the judiciary saves the day. Buhari like a typical Fulani trouble maker has left Nigeria on one leg. He deliberately reopened past wound and set the nation on a dangerous path.
Thank God that Nigerians from the North, South, East and West were united in voting Peter Obi in the presidential election. The real results I have seen is conclusive and testament that Nigerians have evolved and are happy to move on in love and unity. But not Buhari, not Fulani.
Buhari's action is typical of every fulani man. They forment trouble everywhere they go. Every community that the fulani entered, today there is regret. From Zamfara, to Kaduna, Zangon Kataf, Jos North, Benue, etc. Every community in Nigeria that the fulani entered, today there are killings and regret. That is the nature of the fulani, they are trouble makers.
Uthman Dan Fodio came into Nigeria and fought the Hausa kings who hosted him. Ahmadu Bello made offensive comments about Nigeria being fulani estate. Imagine a migrant speaking in such manner. Imagine the audacity. The Fulanis in the North are the root causes of the violence, bloodletting, extremism, backwardness and despair that pervades the North.
By nature, the fulani are retrogressive, backward, nomadic and trouble making. Everywhere they go, there is trouble.... That is the exact attitude Buhari showed in the last election. He deliberately wanted spite the igbos and cause more problems for the nation. Thank God, Nigerians have evolved. The igbos are not angry. They know that Nigerians across tribal lines voted for Peter Obi. They know that Nigerians want a national rebirth where everyone feels safe and secure. The igbos would not fall for Buhari's tricks.
As Peter Obi tries to reclaim his mandate, I admonish Nigerians to reflect on Buhari's attitude towards the Nigeria and its peoples. I urge Nigerians to use Buhari's actions to understand why there is crises in the Middle Belt and in the North. The Fulani man never seeks peace. He forments trouble.
Until Nigerians realize that the fulani are backward and retrogressive by nature and that nothing good comes out of them, we would never make progress as a nation. Until the Middle Belt and the North stand United against Fulani, they would never have peace. And they would continue to die.
If Buhari, a migrant, thinks he can get away with spiting indigenous Nigerians like igbos, then he has failed. The Igbos are real Nigerians, they are indigenous, and Nigerians stand strong with their Igbo brothers. And I promise you that Buhari would be the ultimate downfall of Fulani in Nigeria. Mark my words. You claimed to be from Benue state. now, has anyone from Benue ruled Nigeria b4? There are so many tribes that haven't attained some political offices already attained by igbos. Presidency will not be given to igbos on a platter of gold or silver or of aluminium. |
