I am from anambra I applied to unizik for computer engineering in 2011 got 260 and 58 DAT jamb and p utme.I was not given any admission becos of mmadu theory prevalent in unizik.the next year I wrote jamb I got 227 with uniben and futmina as my choice.the uniben putme was 51 behold I was given admission to study engineering (ind).futmina also gave admission. So u didn't get it becos u didn't understand the admission criteria of a Federal university.

LMC why disappoint me .
For a long time now.lmc as been getting its decisions very wrong.I have been a staunch advocate of the league but I most say lmc is no longer the vehicle that will lead us to the Eldorado we hoping for, don't get me wrong here.I have been a supporter of the local(hmmm) yes it is local because lmc has decided to make it so.Enyimba is my Darling club and I am ready to die for it.I have been castigated for supporting the league to the extent I am termed a local man.I would rather loose my life for enyimba than be buried in the cemetery that Chelsea football club will provide for their esteem Chelsea for life fans.
The essence of my disappointment is the increasing downtrend the league is going on.under the leadership of dikko the league seems to have lost its focus on developing the league into a viable structure. I began to love the nnl after seeing the improvement been done by kaiten led committee. The number of away win was much higher than the so called NpFl nothing is professional about the NPFL.The mou with nta for establishment of a TV production company shows you how lmc doesn't understand the issues at stake,I beg to differ if their is any superior argument to my premise.how do u televise a brand when the intending listeners have not been carried along in the running of the club. The fans are the ultimate decider in the progress of a league. Why am I saying this, simply because ,lmc came out with the PRO model in which the current ownership structure of the clubs will be transferred to a community based ownership model but sadly 4 years after that preposition nothing tangible has come out from it rather the article is busy gathering dust on their web page.I expected lmc to be aggressive in effecting the change in order to create that landmark change.
Lmc is expected to give the clubs a minimum of two month to effect the ownership structure of the various clubs.A government owned club must be privatised to the public/community/fans with government retaining just 10% .
For clubs to participate in the new season they must show that have 10,000 registered fans paying an annual fee of 10,000 naira. The participation of fans will go a long way in building the love and anticipation of the matches to be shown on air, of what use is broadcasting matches with empty stadiums. We don't need to have 20 clubs play in the league but clubs who have shown the ability to be professional must be used.lmc please make this club sell it to the public.
NFF MUST BRING IN ANOTHER COMPANY TO COMPETE WITH LMC.The little success recorded with lmc must be transferred to the second division .NFF should has a matter of urgency put the NNl for sale in order to keep the league more professional.

.When the incident first occur the first thought that crossed my minds was who were involved, what was the motive and why ozubulu. Then I forgot that I was not in a sane society were reason is been given preferential treatment. As usually the jihadist theory surfaced with the usual authors crying all sort genocide and the question every intelligent crime solve will think are the why,who and what evaluation. From the scenario the jihadist theory is flawed on arrival base on the premise of why ozubulu, the motive maybe their but the location strikes out that thought becos their have been know history or connection between the Fulani/book haram have with ozubulu community. The ravaged mindset insists that it was the jihadist theory just to assure themselves that their perceived enemy was the one.If Jesus Christ tell them otherwise they will perceive him has part of their problem and enemy. So I wouldn't try to dissuade such thought but rather those mindset yet to join them. This FB post by Roz Ben-Okagbue says it all:

Ozubulu... death of the innocent

Yesterday gunmen stormed into a Catholic church in Ozubulu and gunned down members of the congregation who were attending Sunday mass. As the drama unfolded and social media was agog with gory pictures, the rumour mills started grinding and the blame was immediately directed at all sorts of terrorist groups. As the day progressed, however, the truth filtered through and it was revealed that the source of this massacre was an enemy within otherwise known as Greed.

It is said that innocent people lost their lives in the incident but let us ask ourselves, is anyone really innocent in this? Can any of us claim to be innocent? Are we really surprised that this incident occurred? Have we not been courting this enemy for several years now in Igboland? Is it something that started today?

According to reports corroborated by the governor of Anambra state, the incident was the outcome of a drugs war between two drug barons from Ozubulu who were fighting over a debt arising from a drugs deal. Having gone to the house of one of the barons known as “Bishop” and not finding him home, the gunmen proceeded to the church to seek him out and kill him. They marched into the church, saw his father and opened fire killing everyone who was in the way. What gave them the impetus to march into the church premises with their guns and open fire on ‘holy grounds’, committing an act that is a total abomination? They clearly did not recognize the holiness of the premises after all they were aware that the church was built from the proceeds of crime and drug sales. As far as they were concerned, they were home!

And that is where the problem lies. That is where we should begin to question our own innocence in this matter. Is there anyone in that town who was unaware of “Bishop’s” reputation or the source of his wealth? Didn’t the priests accept his blood money to build their church? Didn’t the villagers attend the church knowing where the funds came from? Didn’t they treat the donor and his father with deference because of his ill-gotten wealth? What other outcome could we then expect? How then can we claim to have been innocent?

I attended the funeral of my friend’s father in the East some years ago. At the end of the service, the priest began to name the ‘wealthy’ people in our midst and call them by name to come forward and make donations to the church. He thanked them all for being there and shamelessly badgered them for funds to renovate his church. Neither he nor the son of the deceased who assisted him in identifying the targeted donors saw it fit to thank the rest of us for travelling all the way from Abuja and assisting them in making the event a huge success. We were not important. The focus was on the wealthy people regardless of how this wealth was acquired.

I attended another funeral in Ojoto some years ago. During the proceedings, several men, clearly of questionable character strolled in, accompanied by armed policemen to emphasize their importance. Some were said to be sons of Igwes from neighbouring towns whilst others were clearly successful men of the underworld. One who looked like he was someone’s houseboy dressed up in an ill-fitting safari suit stepped forward with his gun and began shooting in the air. I was horrified and terrified at the same time, and I complained bitterly at the evident lawlessness on display. People around me including my friends, looked at me like I was some spoil sport. Couldn’t I see that this added colour to the event? No one was concerned that the indiscriminate shooting apart from being illegal, could have resulted in a serious accident. They all left at the same time, jumping into their SUV’s and shooting in the air. I was told that the purpose of this was to ward off potential armed robbers since they had ‘sprayed’ huge sums of money at the event. The children present looked on in admiration and awe. These were their heroes and role models approved by us, the adults. So why are we shocked by Ozubulu’s tragedy?

For years, young men with little education and no visible means of income, have come home and built palatial houses for their parents. How many parents refused to live in those houses? What message does that send to the youth? The same people come to the villages and install boreholes and build roads. Soon enough the villagers ‘beg’ them to run for office and before you know it, they are installed in the State or National Assembly or even run for the governor’s office. No questions asked about the source of their wealth. Why then should we be shocked?

Bishop, the drug baron who the gunmen were after celebrated his 36th birthday commissioning roads that he tarred in his community. Governor Willie Obiano’s picture was used to advertise the event, thereby validating this young man. It appears from reports that the governor and the commissioner of police even attended the event. Did they ask him where the funds came from? Hadn’t they heard the rumours? Did they investigate? Are they really shocked at the outcome?

Instead of exhibiting all this shock and sorrow, we should resolve today to end this cycle of greed and worshipping criminals. It’s been going on for so long and we are all guilty. The lesson learnt from Ozubulu is that we are all potential victims so we can no longer pretend that it does not concern us. Anyone of us could have been sitting in that church on Sunday. It was not an incident that just occurred, it was a disaster waiting to happen and it can happen again if we do not take steps to prevent it!
May the souls of all those lost in the incident at Ozubulu and all the faithful departed find peace and mercy of The Lord.. Amen.

First Hand Information On What Happened At Anambra State Today, As Ejike Ofoegbu Arrived Anambra From Aba
Please over look the police report, Ejike Ofoegbu said
Loveth Gift narrated

"We all were in the church during the 6am morning mass today, we saw two cars that drove into the church; because it was a Church premises we over looked it and we considered them to be people that came for morning mass(service). But to the surprise of everyone, the car halted at the center of the gate, meaning you cannot close the gate, since it is open already.

"The driver came out of the car pretending he was fixing a problem; so everyone still ignored the drama happening outside the premises.
"Suddenly, some men came out from the car, fully armed, all in Army uniform. I was lucky because I was sitting at the back, just beside the door, but I was clearly seeing what was happening. The sky was cloudy and everywhere seemed dark; no one saw what they were carrying, whether it was gun, but surely they were fully equipped.

"They immediately rushed to the front door. I was too lucky to jump the fence, but before I had jumped, I heard gun shot everywhere in the building. They obstructed the front gate, because for women that is their only route to escape. That was why women were killed more than men. Children were killed as well, many were seriously injured.

"After I had escaped, I started making calls to link my church members who were in the church, but they were not picking up; not knowing they were dead already.
The gun men were not igbos, because their language were not igbo, the government should stop lying, I heard they said That, they gun Men were flashing touch light on us, but it a lie, because the whole church was so lighted that even from outside you will see who is inside. Even at that, if they were really flashing touch light to know who is their target, those that were killed, are they their target.

Like I said before and I will say it again, I was at the back door, I saw all that happened, they were with Army uniform, face covered, standing at the Front door, holding their trigger, and shooting at anything that moves.

When the police came, I was waiting for them to ask questions of what happened, so that I will explain, but they were busy taking pictures of the dead ones, without knowing the fact

"Not too long after they had gone, I went back to the church. I was shocked with what I saw; my Mother was lying dead! Many people were unconscious but later succumbed to death.

"After about one hour of the killings, the Police arrived the church. Two hours later, the Governor, Willie Obiano arrived too. Everyone was shocked, wandering how the perpetrators stormed in Army uniform. Questions began to arise: "Who gave them the Army uniform?" Who gave them the Army car?"

Surely jihad is here, and everyone have to defend him/her self.
A woman who still survived the mayhem said, "All I could remember is that I was sitting at the front when some army men invaded the Church and started shooting at everyone.

They just held the trigger and fired at everyone they sighted. I managed to hide under the seat but was shot in the leg.
"A boy was shot in head, his brain bursted, and blood spilled everywhere - even at my face."
I am now convinced that common sense is now extinct in Nigeria. How we have graciously wore the coat of tribalism have caused us acute deficiency in reasoning. From ur rapt unconfirmed account it seems to me that u are bitter been a life if not ur jihadist thought will not be reason for u to ignore the obvious truth.it will have been better if you were killed .Then in heaven u will tell me DAT it is Fulani jihadist that came all the way to an obscure town and committed such bastardly act.Criminals don't have sympathy when they want to settle a score.be here and be fooling ur failed acute mind DAT it was Fulani attack.

I thank gotaya and danycrusoe for keeping the spirit alive.it really goes to show how some Nigeria still have the interest of the country at heart.I am still shock that in century the nnl management does not know the importance of information and how it affect the branding concept of a firm. They say until extraordinary men do ordinary things in an extraordinary way the thinking of the human race especially Africa will still be shallow.
The current way in which the LMC and the NNL are runned will never develop this game in the next 50 years.
Reason been that the spirit of the Nigerian man rest basically on his communal instinct where we see each other as partners in progress.
I have been understudying the Nigeria football system for the past 12years and I can tell u basically we have not made any meaningful progress to clap for our administrators.
Community ownership and fan based ownership model is the way forward. LMC after producing a communiqué on that since 2014 are yet to achieve any result calls to question the essences of media jamborees that we are known for.I have been understudying with some football enthusiasts about the need to establish the first fan owned club in Nigeria using nairaland as a platform.the aimis for meeting like minds on the project.A Japanese club called fujieda myfc.
