FoodRe: Nigerian Girls And Their Crave For Junk Meals by ragdollz: 11:15am On Jun 20, 2011
I don't know the rascally girls you guys move with but me, my sisters and friends though we love the occasional junk meal, maintain healthy sizes and shapes cos we keep active. Tell the young girls to balance it all up with exercise and busy lifestyles OK!!!
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairalanders! Stop The Rudeness And Foul Language. by ragdollz: 10:18am On Jun 19, 2011
One word of advice for u @jonce: GROW UP. There's a lot of evil out there in the world; so don't whine about the few cusswords u see flying around here. It's just folks letting off steam. Not like they're killing anyone here. Look the other way if it bothers u so much.
CelebritiesRe: Wizkid - Who Is This Kid? by ragdollz: 8:24pm On Jun 18, 2011
Wizkid is an entertainer with all the right hype: young, impetuous, gifted. Being cute doesn't hurt either grin. Pple of all ages feel him, he's in a class on his own!

EducationRe: Finally The JAMB Examination Is Over by ragdollz: 6:10pm On Jun 18, 2011
huh I saw some of the questions on English Language and was like, wtf?? Folks have scanned it online on some forums so we can help them "mark" and see which they got wrong. Who sets these questions anyway?? I mean how can a 16-18 yr old and above know the meaning of such words as astute, exacerbate etc?? Dumb examiners!!

CelebritiesOoops! "we Need A Child, Or The Marriage Is Over!" Jay Z To Beyonce! by ragdollz(op): 4:40pm On Jun 18, 2011
Ooops! Looks like all is not perfect in Bey's fairy-tale princess world!

According to MediaTakeOut, Jay-Z told Beyonce they need to “have a child, or the marriage is over!” Now the superstar singer, reports the site, is “set to begin fertility treatments.” In fact, MediaTakeOut has photos of the couple in front of an L.A. hospital, where they’re going to “begin the fertility process.” (go to omg.com).

I always wondered why she hadn't popped one yet, thought she wanted to wait till she was 42 like Mariah and have twins in middle age like most women celebs  grin grin grin. Never thought Jay Z was much of a father figure, but it looks like he wants to add kids to his number of acquisitions  grin grin. I wish them the best of twins - I mean, luck!!

RomanceRe: "get Married To Someone Who Loves You And Not The One You Love" by ragdollz: 9:38pm On Jun 17, 2011
@ topic if u've ever felt the pain of heartbreak n disappointment u'll understand why some girls choose to settle for the man who is crazy about them but whom they are not in love with themselves. It's like a shield/safeguard; if the man goes on to mess up in the marriage, the girl doesn't care bc she never loved him anyway. I for one would prefer a 50-50 r/ship, noone is more in love than the other.
CelebritiesRe: Lady Gaga: Obsessed Or Possessed? by ragdollz: 4:46pm On Jun 16, 2011
She gets scarier every new song/video. Is she so scared that if she acts normal, she might actually appear boring?? She's obviously trying to cover up/compensate for what ever she's lacking personality-wise.
TV/MoviesRe: What Was The Last Movie You Watched - Part 2 by ragdollz: 3:40pm On Jun 16, 2011
@topic:   Hangover 2. Didn't watch part 1 but this is one heck of a cringe-worthy film. Almost died of laughter one or two times, but I won't be watching it again, noooo way  cheesy cheesy

@half-watched X-men First Class. This is the first X-Men movie I'm actually enjoying. Never finished an X-men film before: this might be the first one I'll be seeing the end credits  grin

debosky:
Belated test taker present ma! grin

Firstly, we don’t have enough information to make a good choice, but I’ll go ahead anyways.

In my usual non-committal fashion, it depends on the mood I’m in. cheesy

If I’m looking for a challenge, I’d definitely go for Barbie. . . .ti a ba fe je opolo, ki a je eyi to l’eyin ninu. cheesy All that swag and bling are defensive mechanisms - as a Balogun l’eyin obinrin[/b[], it would be my pleasure to break every single one down. grin

If I wanted a hang out pal with the potential for some vigorous bedroom Olympics, I’d go for #2. She’s more likely to flow with my boys too. But then again, getting along too well with the guys means she might always want to hang out with us.

As for the #3, nerds are usually the biggest freaks of all so I think I might just go for her instead. . . .if just to find out where those long, really nice legs end. grin I do have my nerdy moments as well, so it’ll be fun enlivening her wild but latent imagination.

All in all, #3 would probably win it - I don’t like being punched, neither am I into high maintenance drama queens.

I’m sure #3 would find some books to read if I decided to go do something with my boys so she’s definitely my choice.
RoF!!!!! Better late than never Debs, good one on ya!

LOL at the bolded, gosh! You said it better than I could grin. Yeah, barbies are big on drama, and then tomboys don't just get that you want to hang out with real boys sometimes. And the nerds, of course, will always give you the space you need - but are very intense and giving once you get their full attention grin. Good choice, D-Sky grin grin

Nairaland GeneralRe: Why Are Nigerians Rushing To Ghana? by ragdollz: 8:37am On Jun 13, 2011
Been hearing about Ghana a lot recently. Sounds better to settle THERE than in Nigeria, if one is inclined to return "home" from diaspora. Even Nigerians in Nigeria look at Ghana as "greener pastures" - because ur money goes a longer way there and of course, there's the constant electricity supply!
Nairaland GeneralRe: Buzugee/Nairaland, So I Want To Talk About Living Abroad by ragdollz: 8:17am On Jun 13, 2011
Lawwwwl - now who's taking stuff too serious?? isale d gee! I merely wanted you to admit your apparent possessiveness where Kizzletizzle is concerned cheesy. Heck, I wouldn't even know what to do with him sef, if u handed me him on a silver platter! Jokes, babe, all jokes tongue. Your sense of humor is obviously recessive where Katsumoto is concerned - another sign! Keep being in denial grin - u don't have to admit anything - not yet anyway. But lighten up a little aight wink
Music/RadioRe: What Are You Listening To Right Now? by ragdollz: 2:59am On Jun 13, 2011

Music/RadioRe: Oriri by ragdollz: 2:54am On Jun 13, 2011
OmG! Met Oriri one on one on a bus to Benin ages ago! He had a CD of his songs and let me listen to them. I must have been the first soul to listen to Sisi Eko fresh out of the studio. He was really cool, humble and friendly and the music was great! Hope he makes waves, he deserves it.
