If it's a decent couple, then constant communication and trust is the case. When you know your partner is decently keeping herself/himself over there, you feel encouraged to do the same. Calling as much as possible, and also, encouraging the partner with words of steadfast love does the trick. But for a wayward couple, nothing you can do, long distance is a killer .
