If Oando will come out today and officially announce it is no longer considering delisting, I believe it can go up 10x in two years or shorter.

Shareholders' will be aware but I don't think they've got more to say about the sales......than to give approval I think.
SEC needs to give approval for such sales and also ensure is in the best interest of the shareholders.
You can go thru Rule 15.32 and the amendments thereafter (it has more pages than the screenshot)

This was their plan from the beginning. You can imagine tinubu gathered the top business men to form a committee seeking advice from them, how on earth will they give him quality advice when they are out here to enrich themselves. The refinery is a perfect example on why the committee wouldn't work, buhari used both nnpc and CBN funds to establish the place and manipulated the process to own shares. But it's all good.

Buhari led this country for 8 years and some people still don't know who he is.

You know that Dangote never does things in a hurry. Remember the talk of listing the cement business on London Stock Exchange? Or the purchase of Arsenal? For me when he says 2025 I add a couple of years.

I think for banking sector recapitalization complicates analysis of short-term trends and predictions. Until it is over and done with trading in the sector will be high risk.

The lesson here is that company fundamental issues are weak factors compared to market sentiments in determining short term price movements.

I understand you can trade it on the NGX floor under the Board OTC and Symbol RR24ACCESS. I tried it on Morgan iTrade. I found the reserve price was 1kobo per share but no bids or offers. I thought for 1kobo per share it is not worth the hassle so I didn't proceed

Yes we are exhausting the 336.60 offers. It is that huge single offer of 1.5m units @N340 that is the roadblock. That is N500m. It will require a cross with a big institutional investor.

Besides I don't think the creation of Ministry of Livestock has to do with a sincere intention of FGN to fund the livestock sector. It may be part of ongoing negotiations with livestock rearers association and the bandits. Recall they were calling for this Ministry during Buhari admin and he refused to create it. Imagine if he had done it he would have been accused of creating a Ministry for his people. Now that a Yoruba president did it people are thinking investment.

You can use the site Investing . com to create a watchlist and filter stocks based on your chosen parameters. They also have an alert option that will generate a notification on your phone if you have the app installed, or send an email. The alert option can be used to track price levels (like if a specific price level is crossed, it sends you the alert), percentage moves on any given day (as it happens, I think delay is about 30 minutes), and more.

Or, if you know how to code, Python can be useful to do the scanning for you based on your own customized criteria or indicators. For example, you can write code that scans for double bottoms, which you can run every day after obtaining the day's OHLCV (Open, High, Low, Close, Volume) data.

People who have many stocks in their portfolio and are doing Jojo, abeg how do you monitor several stocks at a time? Do you have staff? I find it difficult to track more than 1 or 2 stocks at a time.

We are yet to have the updated structure showing free float and new Directors holdings....,.
TRANSCORP PLC's shareholding may have increase or remain the same, so also HH Capital and other institutional investors sha.
Let's see how they intend to handle the full offers when they're ready. Na only them knows what their plan is and na only them fit move the share price at their right time.

Thanks for doing this "homework" despite your busy schedule. You are really helpful. I even forgot you said you will search for the TRANSPOWER shareholding structure. Another factor that will now change the str is this cross of over 118 m shares, which is big. It can only be done by the top 5 major shareholders, which are all corporate bodies.

Btw is it possible for corporates like Transcorp to sell out its shares in a subsidiary without shareholder approval?

I agree that candle sticks can be interpreted as a barometer of many things. But it is just like a doctor using a thermometer to check if you have a fever. The thermometer indicates the presence of a fever but it doesn't say why.

Clearly for me the Dangote refinery factor caused the sharp rally in ETERNA's price in about December. It dropped off afterwards due to profit taking and the postponement of the takeoff date for the sale of PMS by the refinery. And we are now seeing a rise because the PMS sales are again imminent. Just my views.

I agree with you! FA people will basically disregard some stocks TA says it's ready to rise; finding common ground is the best - use FA to screen "your best stocks", then use TA for good entry.

Besides FA I think TA also need to be combined with sentiment considerations, especially in the NGX. The current case of ETERNA is an example. TA in this case got help from hightened sentiment around the reported Dangote refinery dealership for ETERNA.

Oga manipulation de everywhere, even globally. Nigerian big money people have discovered the power of the stock market to make them even richer and they will not sit and watch the value of their assets eroded. You can spread your bedsheets as wide as you want, they will get what they believe is the value of their assets.

You are absolutely right. This may be a medium term play. I am will to give it 6 months and see what happens. Clearly the major shareholders are not yet ready for price to move. You remember what they did during the listing by abruptly holting the price before it got to N400. Even for this one they made it off market deal so it couldn't move the price. Perhaps they want to mop back some of the shares they were forced to sell to the public in the name of creating a float. However I believe the market now has to move the price to at least N413.

I was able to check TRANSPOWER's Q1, what I can say is HOLD and be patient.
If you are large and have spare funds, be topping your stakes as it's probably going down.
At current -10% in market, pick some if the fund is there....... medium to long term is looking good.
*Q2 will give more pointer.

PS: If you want figures and breakdown, consult PA Emma, Oga OGG or any of the gurus. Na my own amateur view I just talk.

Thanks Myc for working on your weekend to answer my question. I do agree with your HOLD recommendation. I am more of a TA person. I looked at the daily trading patterns and I am convinced that there are people who are actively holding the price at current level. I believe those people are capable of moving the price up when they are ready. Have a fruitful trading week.

Actually over 3m by end of the day. But did you observe the pattern of the trade? A cross of 3m units divided into 30 trades of 99k each so that price does not change.

When Geregu was listed, that one didn't even move past 120 if I could remember very well, it later fell and touched 99 or thereabout self, but with good news, it started shaking body small small......and the news of Afrexim Banks 5% acquisition helped its ministry to some extent then

BUT I don't think you should plan your trades on it for short term, I no see anything for short term but for long term, it should deliver well....
TRANSPOWER is good for long term.....
