[b]A colleague in our Abuja office told me and two of my other colleagues this story (Though i found it rather amusing):

He is dating this girl that has an identical twin sister.They met barely a month now,and he is so mad at her for what she did to him.According to him, she called him up and asked him to come in for an afternoon quikie,during his break time.Though pleasantly surprised at the gesture, he gladly obliged. After the sessions, the `girlfriend` told him, and i quote [i]``You are just as hot and sweet as my sister said you would be``[/i]That was when it dawned on him that the girlfriend had set him up for the sister to sleep with.
She sent him a text l8er, calling of the relationship, in essence,dumped him.

The summary is that the guy feels so used and he is very,very angry, such that he is considering inflicting bodily harm on the sisters,who by the way, are working class ladies also.I am back in Lagos i don`t know what is going on over there, though i`ve told him to move on.

If she has dated this guy for a while, long enuf for her to want to submit herself to the marriage institution,it means she has given up on the trade but he should find out her health status i.e. STDs and so on.

Really it`s no big deal to me, but if it bothers him so much, he should think of marrying her and relocating to another town.

I watch both Nigerian and foreign movies.I agree we need to improve in a lot of areas.

I don`t think it is decent to rain insults/abuses on our actors/actressess, because given the same environment,economy and exposure their foreign counterparts have, they definitely would do better.Let us not forget also, that it took hollywood sometime to get it right.
Olu Jacobs for instance is not a typical nollywood actor, he is world class, he`s done a couple of hollywood flicks in the past, so he knows this game well but because of age he cannot pull those youthful stunts anymore.

I beleive the up and coming actressess should be given a chance to step into big roles.Omotola and genievive might be experienced in the industry, but methinks we need to see more of the new faces.All the same, let`s see what the movie will turn out to be.

The rot is everywhere, from Oyo to Adamawa, from Calabar to Sokoto.The present crop of Governors have learnt the `kiss the son lest he be angry` principle.Settle the lawmakers and save your ass.
The plight of the common man has never been the problem of these politicians,as a matter of fact it`s the least of their worries.
In my own state the slogan from my govenor is `more talk less work`.Go to the car park of our house of Assembly when they are in session, you will think, you are attending a moto show.The govenor has already changed their fleet twice under one year.He first started by giving them the latest Honda CRVs across board, just recently he gave all of them 2008 Toyota Corolla and Avensis for the principal officers, not to talk of the wonder on wheels some of them have acquired with their Ghana-Must-Go Largesse.With all these, nobody seems to be asking questions.

N20Million is not something we should shout about.Oyo State to my knowledge does not get so much in terms of allocation,so that is small compared to the waste that is going on in the so-called oil-rich South-south states.The lawmakers in these states receive inducements in  excess of N50 million.It is beleived that the average Local Govt. Chairman in the South-South, has nothing less than N200 million in their accounts.

Hey, why yab our beautiful naija sistas.If anyone beleives majority of `em have `pot bellies` let`s take it to be `proudly nigerian, afterall South African chics got `em MACHO ARSE!!!!  , The general opinion would then be that there is something perculiar about ladies from different parts of the world.

Facially, i`ll give it to Ini Edo, but Miss Milan has got the knock-out shape. Ini just needs to loose some bit and shape-in.
Professionally, there`s no basis, because Milan is some light years ahead, maybe because of the environment she has found herself.For Ini, given the same environment, she`ll probably do just as well.
Really there`s no basis for comparison because they both don`t operate on a balanced platform.(Economy,Facilities, production equipment, Education,training etc.) Obviously Milan has all it takes to do better!!

Please lets stop the name-calling, they both have their dark sides, like we all do.
