The step by step detail is on Nigeria immigration website. Well detailed. If not coming with spouse, I think your spouse will have to go to the embassy and sign a form

No every seat isn't chargeable o. The chargeable ones are the ones with much leg room/comfort. I chose my seats before hand so I don't know about assigning.

Flight gurus: please for those who have used Egypt air, did you have to pay for your seat? I'm trying to book a seat and everything says chargeable seats angry
Is it necessary to pay for it ?(there's no particular choice for any seat)
Will you be assigned a seat if you don't book one?
Or just pay for it to avoid stories?

I apologise on all our behalf. Please don't be offended because it is quite an unusual request.

I believe for this to happen you have to be in CA already and have shown your skill on the drums before the church can even get round to sponsorship talks.

Flew Egypt at 35weeks plus and was sent to the airport health authority to get a fit to fly despite a letter from my Dr.

There was drama as the nurses said they can't give me one because their limit is 32 weeks. I cajoled and begged but they insisted they had had issues with issuing the fit to fly and a lady gave birth mid air which they had to repay the ticket.

I had to get my parent who accompanied me to the airport to join the begging and also write an undertaking that we would be liable if anything were to go wrong. Thankfully I landed CA safely.

Chayil18:
Hello all,

Please has anyone flown Egypt air in their 36 week?

Any idea on flight to Canada (not so expensive one though)....

Regards.

Oh I get now. Your computer's IP is showing Nigeria and that's the message you get. What I did was to
1. close the site totally
2. download a VPN on my device (was using a laptop)and
3. change your location to Canada and
4. Launch the site again and then pay with your naija card

You can also get someone in CA to pay for you.

Note that the fees you see is not inclusive of tax. Let

When I booked for it on CPA website... they told me that before they commence with my order, I have to mail their treasury or so. I sent a mail... and was told that I can pay by raising an International bank draft. From what I have gathered, several banks have refused to do this. So I have been wondering what alternative approaches other people used.

I paid with my GTB naira card. What issue do you have?

Please, I have been trying to pay for the CPA tax and Law refresher course. Please, how did you go about your own.

I tried sending you a DM as well.

Godbpraised:
I never mentioned 419, in my conversation. And like i said i remain to keep mum on my views and opinion, in Canada information is vital. The source of your information determines how far and how well you would survive and be successful here. In your statement you were too quick to infer that i was talking about fraud or 419 and i take offense to your assertions. I will not say a word on this matter hence forth. This is one of the reason i do not like interacting with Nigerians here in Canada, they see every move to make progress as trying to be fraudulent or a 419er. i Rest my case.
But if its is against the rules of the system that is fraud aka 419. Forget being smart biko

TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by rainazoe: 7:56pm On Dec 28, 2018
For the excel sheet you can factor the following costs too:

Sending and receiving passports to AVO
Likely cost of resending PR photos if rejected
Cost of flight

Jennypharb1:
I don't believe there is a hard and fast rule to the Tbills arrangement if you're using a gift deed, I think you can write a detailed letter of explanation to back up the transaction. Since you've opened the account and money has been transferred from his account to yours, that's a straightforward transaction.

Here you go
TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by rainazoe: 7:52pm On Dec 28, 2018
Change of ownership of tbills is a long thing. The liquidation and buying proceeds in your name make sense.

MumtotheBeloved:
Compliments of the Season Everyone.I have two questions:
1)Can my POF be a transfer of TBills (100%Gift Deed from Father-In-Law).
Back Story: FIL decided to liquidate some of his TBills as his contribution to this journey. A reputable Investment Management Firm handles his investments so I just opened an account with them and the proceeds of the TBills were transferred to my account to be used for TBills in my name. The other option was to do a change of ownership of TBills from him to me. What do you think?

2)Does anyone have the excel spreadsheet outlining the Cost of the PR Journey?Ive seen it around and was hoping someone could send to me.
TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by rainazoe: 8:46am On Dec 28, 2018
Hey @digitalgirl234 my PR card arrived in good time so I didn't need to apply for the PRTD. I know @jydexaus here applied earlier in the year and it took a very short while via VFS Lagos.

Have you called CIC to know what's up with your card and when is your travel date? I had to follow up with several phone calls and emails reminding them that the timeline for processing mine and my dependants cards were past due before they mentioned that our photos were ineligible. At the end it is the ineligible photos that were used to produce the cards (after sending 3 different sets).

If you haven't called please call them 1888 242 2100 and make sure you speak to an agent. Have details like your UCI, address, Date of birth at hand because they would need to verify you before any conversation. I used an internet phone app called rynga to call rather than use local naija mobile. You could use freetone.

Note that I had about 3 months before my travel date to do this chasing.

digitalgirl234:
Hello,

Please Im about to apply for PRTD.. Please how long did yours take to approve and get to you? Where did you submit ( I assume you applied and got it.) Thanks

Reminds me of when my Uncle was admonishing my cousin and I to marry early else we would regret. Only for my cousin to reply "Eh Uncle that's the thing, I want to regret!" na crime to regret ? grin grin

Wrapping my head about how to prove I paid taxes in Naija. Besides my PAYE deductions showing in my payslip I don't have any other evidence.

vcole:
I believe you can only file taxes within that period. After that would attract penalties. You can read here for more info about online, paper or telephone options for filing your taxes. https://www.canada.ca/en/services/taxes/income-tax/personal-income-tax/doing-your-taxes.html

I would choose option 1. I don't like long layovers. Please hook us up with this better ticket

titiclassy:
Thanks @rainazoe and @Tojued.
I have made up my mind to do Lufthansa with the feedbacks. However I still got some choose:
1. Layover in FRA for 3 hrs.50 and use Air Canada (smaller) to Toronto OR
2. Layover in FRA for 7 hrs and use same Lufthansa (big plabne) to Toronto. Can 7hrs layover be a nightmare with kids

Consider I have 2 hyper actives (toddler and.baby) . I need d comfort..
