Personally, OP, I'll recommend you begin to explore your course of study on a practical basis on your own and chase other rewarding ventures. It's high we ditched the "automatic" life of school and be spontaneous.

babyfaceafrica: You are in second year and you are sure you will have extra year?...how come?.. Is the course not a four year course? Some departments have pre-requisite courses. Fail them and you get an extra year even if you score A in all your examinations. I believe that's what happened to the OP. |

Civil rule? Multi party system? A constitution? Elections? Free and fair elections. The kind in which no one is intimidated and in which every vote counts |

napoleon77: Get your facts right! The UK is a monarchy and a democracy.
There is no such title as the Queen of England! Your educational system should have enlightened you that the monarch is called the Queen of the UK and Northern Ireland and NOT the Queen of England.
If the constitution of Zimbabwe allows him to continue standing for elections then fine. What do you mean by his "sit tight" policy ? Mugabe is democratically elected like you said, so what's wrong if he continues to stand for elections based on his country's constitution? Oga keep quiet! No one is asking him to step down because of constitutional reasons; he's being asked to step down because of his obvious inability to steer the affairs of his country in the right direction, his ridiculous way of governance, his age, among other valid reasons. No dey form wise man. If it was for constitutional reasons, he would have no choice. |

leonard002: Hello, fellow Nairalanders, my name is Leonard, and I'm a Medical Laboratory Scientist. I graduated in 2013, from University of Nigeria, and since then I've been going to different hospitals looking for a place to do my internship.
In total, I've been to 14 different hospitals, all to no avail. I'm not a lazy or a non-intelligent graduate. I graduated with a Second Class Honours result, Upper Division, and I'm among the top performers in my class. As a matter of fact, during exams, I frequently conducted several tutorial sessions for lots of my classmates, most of which are through with their internship programs. I really burned the midnight oil when I was in school to ensure that I graduate with a good result.
I really don't know what to do at the moment. I'm confused and dejected. I've waited and waited, I've tried my best. I even left the internship hustle for a year and applied for NYSC. Now, I'm through with service, and I'm still here. Right now, I'm stuck. I can't move forward in anything. This is really frustrating.
Perhaps it's because I don't have anybody, or because I didn't bribe anyone.
I want to call on anyone reading this, who perhaps has access to any of the teaching hospitals or federal medical centers or any other approved internship center, who can help me to get a placement to please come to my aid. I don't know anyone, but I hope any good willed Nairalander who knows someone can help me out.
Thanks. I'm counting on you guys.

This is the problem with u.
Did i not even call them "young Christian men"?
The bible clearly tells us that Christians fall into sin.
It also tells us what to do when they fall into sin.
The bible also teaches how to overcome.
But these people dont want to follow.
Simple
You want to pretend as if u dont understand english.

Omoluabi16: your responses are terrible and poorly thought of. A true christian has no level but utmost trust and Joy in God. I do not find it surprising though, trying to compare chronic drunkards to religious people. If only you knew how absurd you look. So who are baby Christians that need to be fed milk and mature Christians that need to be given strong meat abi na bone.
Bros you need to start reading your Bible?

Very interesting findings What are the details of this 'research'? Nigerians rank among the highest porn consumers in the world and it is probably the most religious nation in the world. How is your research still valid in light of this? |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Reasons Made You Start Doubting Religion(s) And Then God(s) by Ranchhoddas: 3:13pm On Feb 17, 2017 |
Omoluabi16: haha. wrong again. My bible with me 247, we meditate on God's words often we can sing, praise God outside the church anyplace anytime. so trust me lad, there is no 'fix' here. Constantly and endlessly is our fellowship with God. Alcoholism, like religion has levels. There are drunkards who drink all the time, same for religious people. Your statement only shows that you are a chronic case. Your detoxification will not be easy. |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Reasons Made You Start Doubting Religion(s) And Then God(s) by Ranchhoddas: 3:05pm On Feb 17, 2017 |
Omoluabi16: Except that drunkenness is temporary, and the drunken man sobers up sooner or later. so your 'drunken happiness' is incomparable to genuine happiness we find in faith. Which is ETERNAL. Yes. The drunkard has to return to the bar every evening(?) to get his 'high'. The believer has to return to the mosque or church on fridays or sundays to get his 'fix'. What's the difference. |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Reasons Made You Start Doubting Religion(s) And Then God(s) by Ranchhoddas: 2:10pm On Feb 17, 2017 |
Omoluabi16: These atheists are very funny people. Their life is filled with emptiness and they can't fathom why religious people are so filled with hope irrespective of the situation at hand. You are right
The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one- Robert Green Ingersoll. |
