saw i review on abc's early morning show, its kinda too much for 600 dollars and the other cue is that there no tabs everything is touch screen, for chaps like me whi want to be in the lecture theatre and do other stuff it will be too tasking, and then it is only available ot at&t subcribers, but when it comes to nigeria, trust naija, enuf effizie dem go buy am |
i think this was to happen, i have tuned my mind to this, henry is leaving, one day wenger will leave even rvp, walcott and all but arsenal still remains, we shall continue to support the club with or without these players, the price might not be right but hey, wat the heck, his mind was off since we lost to barca all is well that ends well, i respect him amd always will |
i teach and lecture graphics and i can tell you as a pro that adobe photoshop has features that will excite you more than photo paint, but i will advice beginners to start with photopaint from the corel family, then graduate to photoshop |

i want to say a BIG SORRY to the guys at gtb, ma bad , i really apologise for the goof, really sorry about that, i respect ur brand and i also operate a current account with your bank down here and ur services here are professional. |
too old for hip hop?] its funny why many of ma mates think i should outgrow hip hop especially rap, they are all tending to lean towards jazz, soft blues and some rock but i have stayed true to the game, i am just thirty and they want me to act like i am 60 or something, the other day one of my students in 300 level said she was suprised to come to my office and hear me playing jay z's "show me what u got", she now saw cd's of mode nine, six foot plus, akon et all and she was kinda suprised too. during my university days, i was a big time rapper and i still adore the rap game, so wats this beef about? when they come to my flat, they alwasy want to change the music to blues or jazz , i am even more responsible than most of them so their argument about profanity in the videos, though fair holds no water, what is wrong with me down with rap eh? u guys should help me preach to them, i love rap simple haba! thats me in d idle of the pic and the other chaps are ma critics

i have been longing to share this experience i went through during the last election period, i travelled back home (jos), from my base here, when i got home, i heard this funny gist about my ex, telling folks around that i have beign calling her and begging her to come back and that i have even offered her money, just imagine? i met her immediately after my youth service around late 2002, we started of fine, she was nice and all that, i didnt have a job then but she was supportive,i was doing some running around to fend for myself but she wanted me to have a white collar job, along the line things started crumbling, she became abusive and temperemental, she even lied to me she was pregnant then and i had to take her to ma mom's only to find out she was lyin, bottom line, things got so bad, we eventually broke up. the week it happened my life began to change, job offers started pouring in, my interview results with first bank came out, went ot lagos for my training , and so many others came in. now after three years she has ressurected the ghosts, wanted to call her, but thot against it, i dont want to join issues with her, why is she up to this?, she broke up the relationship, so why this fuss?, all the time we were together i treated her with lov and respect, so why all the crap? i just dont undestand naija babes? cant a brother progress in life without all this hating? for the complete story pls visit www.andrewranda.vox.com, look for the link lina |

Nigeria raked up a 1-0 win over Kenya in an international friendly at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. Akabueze Chukwuema gave the Super Eagles an undeserved lead and winning goal when he drilled home from the edge of the box after the Kenyan defence failed to deal with a spilled ball. It was Harambee Stars who took the early initiative when Victor Mugabe got past Watford defender Danni Shittu on the left before delivering a cross that Oscar Kadenge headed wide after four minutes. Nigeria then forced the first corner but Onyekachi Okonkwo’s cross was headed to safety. Andrew Oyombe forced a fine save from Nigeria goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba after ten minutes when the Enyimba goalkeeper parried the looped header for a fruitless corner. Kenya got another quick corner but this time it was sniffed out. Nigeria then forced another corner but Kenya’s goalkeeper Duncan Ochieng dealt with it. And the Kenyans were relieved as Isiaka Olawole’s sizzler went wide. Both teams were using the match to prepare for their Nations Cup qualifying matches. Nigeria play away to Uganda while Kenya travel to Swaziland. Mugabe was on the ascendancy as he controlled a neat Mohammed Jamal high ball but Ifeanyi Onwuatu cut out his first time shot. Harambee Stars could have easily taken the lead but Jamal’s choice to go for the near post when played in by a Mugabe clever pass denied Stars a chance as Dele went down to make a decent save. Nigeria went straight for the attack but Rotterdam midfielder Sani Kaita wasted a clever back-heel from Chukweuma as he sliced wide his attempted cross. The goal arrived seven minutes from half time as Chukweuma buried the winner after Oyombe’s tackle on Yakubu Aiyegbeni played him through. Jacob Mulee introduced Patrick Oboya for Mike Mururi on restart and the Siad Most lad almost made an instant impact turning around Asec Abidjan defender Mutiu Adegoke but Shittu cut out his final ball. The imposing Shittu surged forward in the 49th minute and Okonkwo headed over his return header. Aiyegbeni, who until the second half was quiet, finally made his contribution but Ochieng effortlessly gathered his shot. The Middlesbrough forward then raced clear on 53 minutes but was adjudged offside as he shaped up to shoot. Victor Ali came in for Kadenge on 62 minutes but Stars fortune s did not change. Berti Vogts then made a double substitution bringing on Nwankwo Kanu and Paul Obiefule for Aiyegbeni and Nwaneri Obina after 65 minutes.

i first met her at a bank here in kontagora, she got posted from abuja, cashed my check and was about to leave, she called me back and asked if she could have a look at the dvd plates i had one me, after that we introduced ourselves, told her that i was a lecturer at f.c.e, loved movies and a football affiocionado.she later called me up to eat dinner at her place which i did as per bachelor level. told her about my girlfriend and she said her fiance was at lag. we got along pretty well till the night she came to my apartment precisely the fa cup final weekend between chelsea and man u.my friends were at my place to watch the game, after we all went out for a drink which the chelsea guys sponsored, around 10.30pm, we all departed and she said she didnt want to go home, so we left for my apartment, big big mistake on my part because that night was a battle for me, my libido, my girlfriend and my privates,i eventually won, and she was so angry with me, she left early after scattering my bathroom and throwing her thongs/bra around the house.took her items to the bank the next monday, she collected them and apologised for her tantrums, i said no qualms, on wednesday, she called that i should come and pick her at her office to watch the final between milan and liverpool, which i did, but instead of going to my crib, i took her to the officers mess at the barracks, later after the match i took her home along with my other colleagues so that she wouldnt insist on going to my crib, she was vexed, that night she kept on sending me insultive sms, calling me names and telling me i was disrespectful blah blah blah, now the deal is since yesterday (saturday) she has been calling, apologising and sending sms to the effect that she was sorry she treated me bad, how much she misses my gists and all the jokes i crack, that since she came to this boring town,i have been good company and all that and she will respect my views on things and that from now on i make the rules, the problem is should i allow her back into the scheme of things? she comes to my crib and acts like she owns the place? ,is it safe to have a 26 year old pretty babe with great hips and a fine face to grace my place every weekend? my answer is a definite No, i want to save myself and my relationship with my girlfriend,so i have to find a way to put a stop to this before it becomes something that will ne difficult to manage what do u y'all think? |

now that musa abdullahi is gone abi resigned i beleieve that sam eguma might lead the flying eagles to canada for the wyc. the first thing he would do is to put in place a team that nigerians will be proud of, players should not be a problem, but who will merit a squad shirt , we do hope that he would not tow the way of godwin koko uwau whose congo squad was populated with players that had no busib\ness whatsover at the tourney i will try examine the players that i thing should be in the new look squad. the goalkeeping department is a source of worry for me, the only players i see here are my friend femi thomas who is firsty choice at nasararwa united, then there is moses ocheje from lobi stars, then there is mike ezenwa from ocean boys who should give the other guys a good run for their money, i just pray these guys can step up a level before the tournament proper, in the defence, dele adeleye is still eligible, elderson echiejile merits a place in the squad even though i gathered he is in europe for trials, fredrick odebe looks good for the right back position , he was lost in the shambolic congo eagles but then the glimpses of talent where there, surajo sadiq should also make the squad, ibrahim ajani of dolphins should be up there with the best as a right back or he can run the lines along the right. i beleive steve okokouni of gombe united deserves a mention because of his form in the glo premier league. jomo cosmos ayo femi can break into the squad too. the midfield should have kvc westerlo new boy moses adams in the holding role , chelsea trialist adigun salami should be the "oga" in the middle, akeem agbetu who can play as an attacker and a playmaker, i also think that solomon owello should get a chance to prove himself, where the hell is sunday mba? enyinmba or europe, he has enough to get into the squad if he is available, nduka morrison, ukeyima akombo ( in denmark right now) chris moumaife of fc virborg should make the squad, so does uche kalu of enyimba.flying winger ikechukwu okemiri & sharp shooting left footer akeem yakubu of dolphins should be included, the attack is where we are most potent, victor anichebe is number one here, ably supported by strasbourg's simon zenke, chukwuma akabueze has beign consistent, should merit a shirt, then there is emma sarki from westerlo, bala ezekiel from lyn oslo, burly solomon james from niger tornadoes should complete the team. i want to beleive that this squad plus a sprinlke of players not mentioned will mak e us proud come canada 2007. for more info or comments pls visit www.andrewranda.vox.com and drop your thoughts or reactions in the comments section. yours in the beautiful game |
the rate at which nigerians have taking to foreign leagues is so alarming, various reasons have beign giving to these of which i do support wholeheartedly, but the other issue is that of immaturity and animosity that is generated in circles around the country, i do not need to remind y'all about the insident in lagos where an arsenal fan was stabbed in the eye by a bolton fan who does not know the difference between a gary speed and a nathan blake or even ingir bergsson. the whole issue here is abou the need to have real football fans whose love for the game isnt limited to the english premiership or the la liga but some one who loves the sandy pitch at the navy ground in ojo, or kofar mata in kano or maybe township in jos or is it the agege satdium. i have met people who scream and shout about chelsea and all that, when i say there is a game involving plateau united and 3sc they shudder like i just shot them, why?, isnt the love there? i ask the about jon harley or emerson thome and they ask who is that? how funny, what we ahve these days are commercial fans whose stock in trade is during midweek champ league matches or the weekends when matches are beign bandied around, their knowledge is limited to the four corner tv set, or maybe the internet(thank God for it sha) screaming up and down as if they are God and we are all fools. i remember an incident when i first moved to kontagora, i went to watch a premiership match between arsenal and newcastle, some people started shouting , arguing and before i knew it,a petrol drum flew right across my face and smashed someones face, there and then i left the place, next monday i went to the bank withdrew the 40,000 naira remaining for the month and bought a satelite dish and installed at my flat instead of my head beign broken by some 19 abi 20 year old who doesnt know his left from right. i remember the good old days when we watch matches with respect for each other be it european or nigerian, i remember i did a write up when i was in js 2 in 1989 or 1990 about the 1949 uk tourist ( the first official national team to play in europe) it took me one full month of research (then internet never show). i was given an award and a certificate which i have up till date, now its all about noise and more noise, do you remember beanjy nzeakor?, samson ozogula, casmir mbachu?, ali jeje, eric de mico joel bats?, kjetil rekdal, giudo buchwald, clifford cassidy or maybe david ngodigha?, okay try this, patrice evra, freddie ljunberg, ivan campo, cris ronaldo, kaka, cafu , iker cassilas. ahh that one easy abi? the point i am trying to make is that if we trully love the game we should give it soul in the sense that it will pay to talk less and read more, argue less and improve our knowledge, i am just thirty but i have followed the beautiful game for virtually all my life, thanks partly to my old man who started me since i knew how to talk, imagine my little cousin benjamin hwo is 23, claiming to be a chelsea fan and even shouting and bragging, and i was like eh! which time benjy don dey watch ball? when we were playing out during competitions in plateau state, all he knew about football was pele and maradona, now, sha any time i come around he keeps quite because he knows what the real koko is, what you know will make you known.here is a brain teaser for real football fans in nairaland not football pretenders and premeirship wannabes 1. where does the team colo colo hail from, 2. which team did teslim balogun make his name with in enland 3. who was the only mullato in our nations cup winning team in 1980. 4. who scored fc porto's winnign goal in the 1988 european champions cup final 5. who scored olympique marseille winnign goal in the 1992 champs league final 6. who captain the team from question 5 7. which english team did andy linighan play the uefa cup with in 1995 8. during the 1995 cup winners cup final, who scored the winning goal for what team? 9. who is the first isreali t play for tottenham hotspurs? 10.he is black, winger cum midfielder for liverpool in the early 1990's also capped by england. plsease visit www.andrewranda.vox.com and paste your answers the comments section. any 8 correct answers wins a mtn 200 naira recharge card. |

got the shock of my life today, here is da gist i have known her for about a year and a half now. she is my faculty or school, we met when i went to complain about my id card and she was coming from the student affairs, we bumped into each other and i saw her id fall, picked it up and looked at the name, and found out she was one of my students albeit in another department.next time we saw was at the market where she offered to do my shopping, a week later we met up in skul and she told me she had been looking for to give me the change of what she bought at the market, i was quite suprised and we became friends from then, she was a constant visiot to my flat, doing the dishes, mopping the floor and goin to the market, whenever i try to give her anything, she always refuse citing me as her elder brother per se. there was a time i tricked her with a cheque of three thousand t collect some dough for me,same day i travelled for a conference, when i came back she brought the money and gave me, i insisted it was for her but she bluntly refuse to accept it. later gave the cahs to her rommies. bottom line is that she is such a nice a respectful girl, very humble and all that. my colleague at the office who knew her has been asking her out and i think she is obliging, hes my closet paddy in the skul and someone i hold in high esteeem, he told me about it and asked my consent, i said fine because i have a principle of having nothing emotional or physical with students. this morning at the office, the dean of education called me to her offive and told me to sit down, which i did, asked if my pal really loves the girl which i affirmed him saying something about not minding marrying her. she now told me to tell my friend to stop the relationship, i asked why, she now said SHE HAS FULL BLOWN AIDS, THE OTHER TIME YOU TOOK HER TO THE HOSPITAL, I KNEW WHAT CAME OUT OF THE TEST, SHE MADE THE DOCTOR SWEAR TO AN OATH NOT TO DIVULGE THE INFO ?what i screamed and tears came to my eyes. bottom line, my friend is in kenya for a conference,he will be back sunday night, i do not know if he has had sex with her, if yes did he use a condom?, why didnt she tell me?, i have told her lots of stuff about me and my family, she does sleep over at my apartment but i havent touched her before. i then remebered her telling me about some hausa guy that disvirgined her last year, and she had to break up the relationship when she got admission to study at the school i lecture Now i do not know what to tell my friend, i am so disappointed about the whole thing, i blame myself for allowing my friend to date her, in as much as she could not tell me all these days, the question is how do i break the info to him how can i stop the anger and disappointted on her side? |

was going through the recent uefa u17 championships and i found out that england paraded in their squads two nigerians and a ghanaian the guys are victor moses who likes to take on defenders ala cris ronaldo, he plays for crystal palace and tom taiwo, a combative mdifielder from chelsea, they are fantastic players who will play for england at the u17s in south korea, hope they get to play for the eagles some day. |
