my lappie hard rive has crashed, when i boot, i get a prompt saying the system cant see any hard drive, what do i do, do i get a new hdd for my lappie or is there a way it can be revived, i dont have any engineer nearby, cos i am far from town doing some job, i think the bumps along the road must have unsettled the hard disk, need suggestions, and the funny part is that it brings out this annoying noise, the interesting part, i just installed ubuntu fiesty fawn 7.04 on da system and was bening to enjoy yjr freedom that comes with it, abeg make una help,

hi ma man , sorry about the ram thing i use 512mb about to shoot to 1g by next week, how can i get the cd u compiled, but i got three questions
1. the command lines for installin programs aint like windows where u have set up files that do most of the work, i guess i might learm more with time

2. cant seem to see my inbuilt bluetooth module or icon though i was able to detect it beign installed

3. cant seem to download automatix that can enable me run windows based programs like swishmax (which is what i do work with most of the time)

trying to convince my colleagues to jump to ubuntu but need to sort this out , know how to add command lines wether through the terminal or from add n remove.

esqiure thanks a lot, i did install it ans was qiute pleased when my drivers were picked up, thanks, no reason to bother, the only issue i have is that of playing mp3s on ma system, i tried to download amarok but could not get all the mumbo jumbo that comes with installing it, will call bigbrovar and see what he can do for me as regards playing dvds, cd, and mp3s or do u have a suggestion to that effect?

i have been having varoius issues with my xp pro os on ma laptop, now a friend has converted me to linux, i requested for the cds and they have arrived, the question is does linux support 3d & animation software like max, maya, corel draw and swishmax?, another issue is that when ever i reinstall my os for whatever reasons most of the drivers get missing including the network controller, ethernet drivers, sound driver (in this case sigmatel audio controller) i have to download via my desktop, copy to a cd or flash drive,a dnthen to my lappie, what are ur suggestions as per this,i love that interface and graphics on ubuntu and i want to install it as soon as possible, but need to know what to do.

i think that structure wise the national stadium in abuja is the best for now, but if you are like me who is more interrested in the useability instead of aesthetics then i think the teslim balogun stadium in lagos is the best for now. if its for football proper the synthetic pitch at the liberation stadium will catch ur fancy

i had a good laugh at all my loud mouthed friends who think they know much about the game of football. it was during nelson mandelas charity game at soweto for his birthday, most of em who rant and rave without giving reall affiocionados like us breathing space, the couldnt even recognise gullit without the braids, had a field day telling them about the players that participated like stephen tataw ernest eboungue, et all, leornado, andoni zubizereta . i even gave them a hint of the camerounian squad to spain 82, told them about the nkana brothers , and the italia 90 squad, did anyone see webby chikabala on the bench. they watched the game at my house on metro tv and i did serve them juice. now when they see me they greet me well. i thought them a good football lesson, its not about the premeirship or la liga or even the austrian die liga, big up to guys like akin alabi, mike mayaki.

i have a jack and i was able to read a lot on this now i watch free to air channels from russia to south africa etv sabc, eatv itv from tanzania, even ait has to stations on ma dish, i also get bbc, al jazeerea, cnn, voa, dubai sports mbc 1, 2 ,3, 4 good channels with series like 24, lost, desperate housewives etc

i am a gunner and i am happy i have seen palacio a couple of times for boca, he has a good build so the physicl aspect of the premiership is covered, his not too pacy but he covers up with excellent positioning, he reminds me of a certain van nistelroy only the being south american, he has a better technic, and more physical, will be a good addition.
