Where's the hustle? Everywhere is dry right now, except you want the man to engage in criminal acts.
If ur fiancé is earning 100k right now, u better grab him tight & plan well with him, many husbands don't make 50k per month as we speak, yet they are living with their family.
The reality on ground now is that the 2 of u must join forces together to build things from the scratch, or else you'll stay for long in ur father's house.

Seun has made his point in an unclear manner. Of a truth, USA is a giant in corn production with millions of metric tons in export each year. At a point, big time poultry farmers here in Nigeria preferred to import corn from USA than to buy locally, meaning that US has been reaping in greatly from growing corn. Coming to Nigeria, can the government afford to buy like 20,000 tractors and 10,000 combined harvesters for local farmers?
Can the government subsidize the cost of fertilizers and other farm inputs for farmers by 50%?
Can the government sponsor full mechanized farming?
Trying to justify BAT's agbado & cassava statement by linking it with USA's advanced agricultural policies that support massive production of corn is one of the silliest stuffs to talk about. Put tribalism aside, in a saner clime, is BAT worthy of being a presidential aspirant? I'm a Yoruba man, but I don't allow tribal bigotry to becloud my sense of judgement when it comes to issues of national interest.

What I don't understand is how the Northern governors are able to pay salary while their counterpart in the South are owing salaries. yet, Southerners always abuse the North as the decayed part of Nigeria.
Some of the northern states have lesser civil servants to pay on monthly basis, take for instance in the education sector, some local governments hardly have up to three secondary schools, while some states hardly have up to 3 tertiary institutions. Quranic schools and Almajiri system of education is what they value, so how many employees do they have to pay at the end of the month?

See the SE, three states are owing over 6month salary and yet the Igbos want to liberate Lagos from Sanwo-olu and Tinubu. They will be blaming Tinubu everyday and yet their governors are making their people poor and wretched in the East. I don't know what you mean by this statement, but I resonate with you on the poor performance of these SE governors. Nevertheless, your assertion on linking the SE governors' performance to Igbos liberating Lagos from the strong grip of BAT & Sanwo-olu is unneeded, because that's the wish of every right-minded Lagosian, irrespective of race or religion. People are tired.

Akeredolu is a disgrace. After Lagos, that state recieve the highest allocation in the SW and yet Akeredolu owing Salaries.

Heaven bless Oyetola, Osun wasn't on the list because he is not owing salaries, did not borrow as governor and yet Osun people voted him out for an Adeleke who got no plan or manifesto but just dancing, and they call it democracy. The people know why they rejected him. If you ask them, they will tell why they made the choice. I feel the same way you felt.

Can we all just stop making this APC feel important and concentrate on how to bail Nigeria out? They've played their best card, people should look beyond them, by the way the party won't be the only one to be on the ballot paper. I am a typical Yoruba man, but I can categorically tell you that this is one of the dumbest posts I've come across recently. Look beyond ethnic coloration and have a holistic assessment of the socio-economic makeup of the Nigerian states, no other state has the economic advantage Lagos has, and whatever anybody thinks Tinubu did in Lagos could be done even better by some of these governors if given the opportunity to rule a state with strong potential like Lagos.

Bogus allowances by the senators, rep members, executives, governors, and the president

The expensive maintenance of the presidential aircraft and the wasteful spending on the president and his household annually.

Wasteful spending on unnecessary Personal assistants & aides to all political office holders.

Or is any of the suggestions addressing these issues?

If population is your measure of performance, India with over 1billion people did not make the best three in the medal table, I think our team should be celebrated for this great feat. We are the top in Africa as far as this commonwealth games is concerned.

The well-written script is being played out on daily basis. The mission and goal remain valid, and that's power to the north. By the time the north is done, no region will want to cry foul. Osun State internally generated revenue (IGR) witnessed the highest growth of 131% in 2019 after Oyetola took over in 2018. The IGR in first half of 2018 was N4.7 billion while in first half of 2019 it was N10.2 billion. That is clearly contrary to Adeleke's claims that money was being taken to Lagos!!!

Osun State in 2018 generated IGR of N13.8 billion; N17.7 billion in 2019 and N19.6 billion in 2020 despite COVID-19 that affected the economy of the nation. There is clear increment year on year. Please talk with facts and not baseless sentiments.

The fact finder, all of these info are in the public domain, and it does not change the reality. Dig deep, and you find out the truth. The IGR u talked about, there will definitely be an increase in IGR when many of the mineral sites in the state are currently under heavy exploration and the tax levy on small and medium businesses have increased significantly, even when most of these businesses struggle to survive in the face of dwindling economy. The facts are there, and they are so glaring, so nobody is saying what is not. The pension fund in Osun, how much do u know about it? Just believe in what u know and move on, what u know may be limited to what some in-house people know. The so called IGR, who knows how much the state truly makes monthly?

I begin to wonder what Lagos state is looking for in Kebbi state when there are vast land to the left and right from lagos to Ibadan. U can imagine Lagos state government leasing land in Kebbi state to do rice farming while land is wasting away here in the south. We do not deserve this type of leaders, they're so dumb and selfish. They only do what will benefit them. If they don't go as far as Kebbi state, how will they successfully launder money through such project?
