Osun State internally generated revenue (IGR) witnessed the highest growth of 131% in 2019 after Oyetola took over in 2018. The IGR in first half of 2018 was N4.7 billion while in first half of 2019 it was N10.2 billion. That is clearly contrary to Adeleke's claims that money was being taken to Lagos!!!

Osun State in 2018 generated IGR of N13.8 billion; N17.7 billion in 2019 and N19.6 billion in 2020 despite COVID-19 that affected the economy of the nation. There is clear increment year on year. Please talk with facts and not baseless sentiments.

The fact finder, all of these info are in the public domain, and it does not change the reality. Dig deep, and you find out the truth. The IGR u talked about, there will definitely be an increase in IGR when many of the mineral sites in the state are currently under heavy exploration and the tax levy on small and medium businesses have increased significantly, even when most of these businesses struggle to survive in the face of dwindling economy. The facts are there, and they are so glaring, so nobody is saying what is not. The pension fund in Osun, how much do u know about it? Just believe in what u know and move on, what u know may be limited to what some in-house people know. The so called IGR, who knows how much the state truly makes monthly?

This is not the case of accidental manslaughter, it is a deliberate act of manslaughter, which should attract nothing less than 250 years in jail. That's the basic truth, it started long time ago during the former governor's tenure. All major contract works in Osun are awarded to benefit him, they are taken to Lagos. The state's finances are indirectly controlled by him. That man is too terrible.

I begin to wonder what Lagos state is looking for in Kebbi state when there are vast land to the left and right from lagos to Ibadan. U can imagine Lagos state government leasing land in Kebbi state to do rice farming while land is wasting away here in the south. We do not deserve this type of leaders, they're so dumb and selfish. They only do what will benefit them. If they don't go as far as Kebbi state, how will they successfully launder money through such project?

Who's appointing all these lunatics into offices? Has Nigeria become a comedy platform where any1 can just come to crack joke? He claims he reads papers every morning, so none of the papers he read talked about Osun election, Has Osun State become so minute and inconsequential that this old cargo doesn't know it exists? The law is not very strict on vote-buying and there's a level of unwillingness to prosecute culprits. APC and PDP both votes in this election, each not wanting to be outdone by the others.

Vote-buying was how Tinubu emerged instead of a credible, younger and more sound Osinbajo. The Electoral Act didn't address that.

Osun has just been so unlucky with the set of people parading themselves as aspirants. I've listened to 2 of his interviews, it showed clearly how unprepared he is to govern a state. He doesn't have a clear understanding of the state itself & its economy, I wonder how he's going to turn the table around. Same thing is applicable to other aspirants, the only one I could single out is that LP aspirant, he's well informed about the state and has a clear pathway to getting some problems solved. I pray God himself will have his way for the state.

The fact remains that he was never prepared for leadership in the first place. He doesn't understand present-day governance & how the current constitution has been designed to make a big failure of any president. He thought it was going to be bed of roses just like his former rule in the 80's. Tinubu and Atiku are in the same category with him, they're only fighting to be president for the sake of power & global recognition.

Some questions are running through my mind:

1. Is there no Christian member of APC from the 19 northern states?

2. If religion does not matter but competency, is there not competent Christian in the entire North?

3. If religion does not matter, what about tribe? Does tribe matters?

4. Can APC fields Yoruba-Yoruba or Igbo-Igbo ticket?

5. Is APC an Islam'ic fundamentalist party like violent muslim brotherhood of Egypt?

6. Can Boko-Haram, Ansarudeen and ISWAP accept Christian-Christian ticket?

7. Why are APC surpporters unrepentant hypocrites?

I don't blame them, the Christians are at fault, it's on nairaland here that some overzealous Christians were saying a true Christian should not be involved in politics, so if in the bid to play a true Christian, everyone withdraws from active politics, who will take over? Muslims of course, and when they are being killed & marginalized, they'll be crying foul.

I wonder why this is becoming anybody's headache. Is APC the only party contesting in this coming election? If a party fields muslim-muslim candidates, then look for a party that fields what's balanced & endorse it, it's that simple. All these rantings will make the party appear more popular. They've shown to us that Christians don't count in Nigerian politics, why not show them you count.
