Stamping and notarization not compulsory. As long as it is on the company’s letterhead paper and the paper contains the list of key staff of the business, address, email and contact of the person that signed the letter... then no issues. Good luckFirstTImeUser: Good day Please I have an enquiry to make I just got a reference letter from my former place of employment. Meets all criteria except that it is not stamped. My question is this...is it compulsory to stamp the letter despite the fact that it is written on letter head paper? Do I need to notarize the letter? Thanks |

Relax. Until a baby is born, the baby can not be included into her applications so no issue here. But she should endeavor to inform CIC once she gives birth... if during her EE process. She doesn’t need to tell them she is preggie now oo lolbeges: Please seniors weigh in on this.my friend just got AOR and also just found out of her 6weeks pregnancy. Please advise course of action. But bro u can’t compare UK to Naija naa!
First of all Naija inefficiencies
Secondly, they probably don’t have Thisbe large number of people trying to immigrate Thirdly, the ratio of patients/ immigrants to the hospital’s official is a total misbalance compared to the UK. So things like this are bound to happen. It’s even worse off in government hospitals. Some people are told to come bk the next day after waiting almost the whole day. It’s well... I sha don tire for this country!!jelmusboy: Why would people go for Medicals from 8am and leave 4pm in Nigeria? I did mine in UK and I spent just 20 minutes to get ieverything done.
Is it not the same medicals for CIC, or Nigeria medicals is different from UK medicals? |

Any can be used as long as the person can attest to the responsibilities you carried out. But its preferable to use your current supervisor or a HR personnel. That way, even if IRCC reaches out, then you are safe.Eben04: Good people, please I have a query.
To sign my reference letter, can I use my former supervisor or must it be my current supervisor ?
P.S : I am claiming points for just one job role and both supervisors are still in the organisation. |

Exactly my point. Some people use the PF to cushion against exchange fluctuations. The main funds conveniently covers the POF requirements. They would simply not consider the PF , if they are satisfied with the available funds.Estac: I am not sure this is correct. Although I already received PPR, I got my GCMS notes this morning. My application was processed in Ottawa even though I had a "review required" in respect of statutory questions (I had 2 US visa rejections). I got PPR in 2.5months. I also used pension fund as part of POF but only as a shore-up for forex fluctuations. My main POF (mutual funds) was sufficient. My pension was not even considered. |

Thanks for the information.joo2018: Balancing the discussion a bit: @armstead used 25% Pension fund as part (17%) of his POF and still got his PPR from Ottawa by 4 months (see here). Review required on PF might still take place within Ottawa and meet the 6 months timeline.

Haaaa!! The real MVP is here. Bros God bless you on behalf of your sister. There is nothing as great as being selfless. ... I know there are many more Nigerians like you. We just need this attitude to build this country Nigeria. However, make I first go secure citizenship elsewhere first.. then I can come back to build.
I still love Naija however.
Peace!!Topsmamen: Good morning my good folks. I believe we are all fine and dandy. I am highly overwhelmed by your prayers and best wishes. Actually PCCs are valid for 6 months from the issue date irrespective of the timeline (3 months) stated on the face of the document. Shyee: Hello people. I did my PCC 4 months ago in Lagos (it expired after 3 months-2 weeks ago), I just got the real ITA that I expected. Now, IRCC says PCC mustn't be older than 6 months, would you advise I use the older than 3 months PCC or travel to Lagos to get another one. The dilemma is Doing the convenient by submitting the PCC as is or Silence the conscience and abate anxiety by doing a new PCC. Kindly advise. |

Well that's if the other funds used do not meet the minimum funds required for a family. For instance, if one includes the PF just for the possibilities of exchange fluctuations while the other means of funds covers the POF requirement, then there would most likely not be any issues raised.Tojued: Once any aspect of your application triggers 'review required', e don comot Ottawa be that. Using pension funds I think triggers review required for pof. |

I am noticing a lot of elementary questions are being asked in the past 10 pages or so. Worse still, all these questions have been answered on this thread before now. Page 1 has a lot of these answers. Imagine someone asking how to raise a CSE, how to request for GCMS notes and the likes.
This simply shows that people have blatantly refused to go back to page 1 to read up. I have been expecting to only see specific questions with rare circumstances. Please, seniors in the house, can you kindly redirect people to page 1. That's the best thing that can be done for them. In fact, it makes them come across many other information that they may need, thereby averting further basic questions.
Just my opinion though. |

But in the spirit of happiness I’ll answer:
You can address it in any of the 2. CIC address or whom it may concern. Both are acceptable!Abol4luv: Just a quick one, please can the work reference letter be in form of 'To whom it may concern' or be specifically addressed to CIC ? |
