Did u save while working? Sometimes it times out if u try to type all the long 10 year history. What u should do is.. enter for maybe 2 or 3 jobs, save and exit.... get back and continue... save and exit until u finish entering them all. Mostly happens to those that have several activities during the period. CheersDeniceone: Hello Canny FAM. Please I need some help. I'm stuck on the personal activities page . I covered everything for the last 10years but It still wont mark green and complete . Pls what am I doing wrongly? I started with my current employment. No gaps. |

AOR - March 19, 2018 IP1- March 23 MEP- April 17 IP 2- Sept 17 ADR - Sept 21-Height and eye colour request ( submitted immediately) PPR- Oct 9
My journey started in 2016 when my husband's cousin told me about it but she advised me to use an agent. When i contacted an agent and he told me to bring 3000 dollars, i just knew there was no way my husband was gonna agree to that and he was also not ready to do any research so i just dashed myself brain and started researching on Nairaland straight.. knew i could get almost all the information i needed here. I wrote ielts twice and still didnt have 8 in listening so husband decided to be the primary applicant since he had more work experience than me anywayz. He wrote 4 times and kept having 6.5 in either reading or writing. I was so frustrated because i was pregnant and really wanted to have my baby abroad and husband had told me to either choose using our money to give birth in the US or to pursue the Canada immigration plan, i chose the latter because i thought i could give birth in Canada and the whole family still gets to become permanent residents but God was just doing Yimu for me i guess. Anywayz, our point was sitting at 411since last year and when the cutoff points were reducing last year, i was very hopeful that it would get to 411 and one of the most painful days of my life was when the draw was out that day and it was 413 ( this is because the draw was following a particular trend, reducing my 4 to 5 points). I cried that day enh, i couldnt just be strong any longer. To cut the long story short, i advised my husband to go through the provincial route and that was the beginning of another torture...... watch out for part 2 ( ghen ghen ghen ghen) heheheh |

See I think he has rendered the best help to u. Reading page 1 is very invaluable. The benefits u wud gain far outweighs the response u wud get. There is a reason why a lot of seniors refer people to page 1.... not just that, they ensure to keep the information up to date as much as possible. Pls don’t take it wrongly. Besides, it’s not cool that u are asking for help and making comments such as “people are busy with other things in life too, not just Canadian immigration”. Don’t forget that people that u want to respond to u are also busy with their own stuff and have also taken time in the past to read from page one. Myself, I read all the way from part 1 till I caught up with part 4. I wish u the best. crystalllllllll: Is it bad to ask questions? I for one hate it when people tell others to go read from page 1. If you can't answer their questions, simply ignore. If you can and you think the question has been answered some pages before you can do well to look it up and then answer with a link to that page. Imagine being on page 389 and dwelling on page 1 info. Things change sometimes and we all know that. Plus people are busy with other things in life too, not just Canadian immigration. |

Exactly my point! Don’t be surprised if this so- called mistakes were consciously done in the past to gain some unfair advantages.... now it’s coming to hurt some of them. Even if it was a genuine mistake, I see why people shouldn’t have followed it up since it happened. At the end of the day, affidavits in Nigeria would lose its significance when people keep doing stuffs like this. Gosh!phemmy26: I tire ohh...all this while you guys new you had issues with the date of birth and didnt rectify it until now....one of the reasons why WES introduced WAEC verification that we all have to do when evaluating with WES....soon other agencies would introduce it then they would now start asking for First leaving school cert, NYSC Discharge cert, admission letter, etc continue to open una yansh for here...u all know that also all this agencies like WES, ices, ircc, etc they all read our post.....una continue |

Finally!! the gender scale is broken. @Ifeoma, u asked for it... here it is coloured below MrniceG: Elo, with their reply sent to me it means that any DOB identification given is wat they will use on ur ECA report and that ECA report will b sent to CIC. Remember that it's ur international passport that will be use most offten in all application process not national identification cad. If u chose to use DOB from national identification it will sure contradicts wit the DOB on international passport. I wish Oga Ify culd gv a good clarification to this, although he did mention that a Good LOE can back up this DOB problem.

Thanks so much.

purplerain: Hi All.
Long post alert!
Its PPR guys. Yes o, after 7 months, London VO has freed me. AOR: 4 March 2018 MEP: 13 March 2018 ADR 1: 19 Sep 2018 ADR 2: 2 Oct 2018 RPRF : 5 Oct 2018 IP2 : 9 Oct 2018 PPR: 9 Oct 2018.
In January 2018, Hubs and I decided to apply for Canadian PPR. I am the primary applicant, and I have a foreign masters degree, so WES evaluation was pretty easy. A day after we entered the pool, we received our ITA. I always knew our application would get sent to London. It was a feeling i couldnt shake. On 21-Mar 2018, i got a "how to get a job in canada email". Chai, i knew we had entered 1 chance
I called hubby and told him my worst fears had come true. But he was still trying to give me hope. The email is not a guarantee of transfer to London. I said ok o..make we dey see.
In May 2018, we called IRCC, and they confirmed that in deed on that day, our file was transferred to LVO.
July 2018, i sent LVO an email, asking for an update on my application, their response was i was in a queue waiting review.
Sept 4 2018, exactly 6 months after AOR, i sent Ralph an email. Asking for an update. He responded that although my file was initially reviewed on 7-Aug, nothing had been started.
Chai!!!! 6 months, nothing. I wont lie, I cried.
19-Sep-18: LVO sent me 8 ADR requests. Yes, O, 8!!!!!
We compiled and submitted everything on 25 of Sept.
2 of Oct, another ADR. This time, 1 year bank statement for my salary account.
We submitted the one i generated from mobile app, including reference letter from the bank, 12 months payslip, and updated POF. (the last 3 were to be sure they had everything o).
On 5-Oct, we received RPRF request. That day, i knew it was only a matter of time. Family members were already dancing and jubilating o..Hubs and I were still waiting for PPR, before we dance sha.
12pm today, it came o....
Finally!!!!
Please help me thank God o. He has been in charge from the get go.
Did i mention that the second ADR came from Lagos office.. Yes o, Lagos immigration.
Only God knows how and when Lagos became involved in my case.
It sha ended in praise!!!. |

Please, this is not right in all aspects. It feels like you are working around the rules to meet the POF requirement. The means to the end is as important as the end itself. U cannot use funds that are encumbered.mayour01: Hello guys. Please I am a silent reader. Please I have a problem with our POF. I am the PA and took 2millon loan as part of POF. A friend advised that I divide the money to half and moved 1million to my other account in the same bank for other payments that we still needed to still pay (I have two savings account in the same bank). We planned using a letter from my cooperative society as part of POF and then Gift deed from my father to balance up. Albeit i initially taught of transferring the 2million to my father to add to the other he promised us and use GIft deed but with this development, please what is the best way to go about it. Thank you Please note that I also plan using a letter from the cooperative stating the amount I have after collecting the loan(i.e I took 2M which I am currently repaying and then I have also collected a letter stating I still have 1.5m as my savings |

Exactly my point. People at the early stage of their application can learn from people's experiences as they process theirs (I mean people more advanced in their application). I really believe that continuous updates would encourage more people rather than discourage. It would help some people avoid some errors as they process.
I wish this can be adopted by everyone in the thread though.ChandlerBing: I also wish this would happen more. Frankly, it's just on this thread that people announce only when there's PPR. Or when they are stuck on a process pre PPR. While we enjoy reading those, giving small updates wouldn't hurt. It gives people with similar timelines a reference point.
That being said, last time I posted that I called IRCC and was told my criminality was in progress, 2 weeks ago or so, I called again and criminality has been passed. I plan on calling this week as well. |

It definitely will, because you are claiming points for the three years in your application. However, I have seen instances on this thread where the VOs calculated days up to AOR date (for current employment). So maybe we also need to be clear as to whether you have submitted your APP or just gotten ITA. Please, clarify. But from your explanation, it doesn't look like a current employmentdesmondgaddafi: Plsss help, I posted this before and nobody replied
Hi everyone, I have been a silent reader for about a month now.. I will like to know a few things.
Here is my concern, my work experience reference letter has 34 months (Instead of 36 months for 3 years). It actually meets the work hour requirement for 3 years but it is deficient of 2months... will this be a problem in my application after stating that i have 3 years work experience? Thanks. |

If you do consider the Canada PR route. (which of course is worth the while), you won't need to pay all these agents their ridiculous charges. U can conveniently do it yourself and get your permanent residency. All you need to help yourself is to go to page one of this thread and read up. There is a wealth of information which is totally free and available for your consumption. You will be thankful that you did. Cheers!Felicia001: This thread will be for professional and experience advice and also for those in my place. Please matured advice only no kid-ins.
Myself and my fiance graduated 5yrs ago, I have a B.Eng Petroleum and Gas while she has a BSc. Accounting. I have about 2yrs experience working with Huawei Telecommunications as a site maintenance engr- Airtel Tel while my fiance has about 1yr work exp with a micro finance bank. Both of us not working currently but into farming full time. To God be the glory we are expecting a baby, We hope to take our 7yrs relationship into a bigger home as soon as our baby arrives and most importantly availability of finance.
Being a man of many ambition @36 with limited opportunities in Nigeria my hope is gradually dwindling so I came up with the decision to relocate with my fiance.
So this is where I need advice, assist and help on best, cheapest and the fastest means we can immigrate out of Nigeria to have a better life.
What kind/class of visa app will suit our profile? Can I carry out the visa processing myself because I rlly don't have much money these processing guys are charging? How much budget will be needed from start to finish for a family of 3?(2adults+1infant) My intention immigrating is mainly to go into faming abroad but I will have to work first after arriving to save up before that, so, which country among Canada, USA or Australia and best state/province will fit into this plan in mind?
Please kind advice is needed. Thanks and God bless us all. |

Dear Sir/Ma, Please, do not be frustrated or tired. Remember, eyes on the prize... and there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Kindly go ahead to live ur life the normal way and remove ur mind from the process while it runs its course. Try and renew ur rent to avoid being put under more pressure.... u can negotiate with the landlord to pay for a shorter tenor that would cover for the maximum period within which you intend to stay in naija.
