I call these 'tales by moonlight' but they are some tales you would expect from your Nigerian ex-girlfriend when fate brings both of you together in one way or the other ![]() 1) "I dated about 3 guys after we broke up but I never had sex with any of them" - Really!!! Am I dreaming? And you are back with me in a sex-involved relationship? Three grown men and no 'touch-touch'? Those guys must be monks!!! ![]() 2) "I always knew love would bring us back" - What if it hadn't worked out smoothly in any of the previous affairs? Would love still bring us back? When you praise Madam rice say her food sweet, she go tell u say na because u no chop yesterday own! ![]() 3) "This time, we are back for good" - Human traits are not charmeleon skins that could be green this moment and turn purple the next minute. If we cannot tolerate each other's flaws and inadequacies, whether character-wise, financial-wise or romantic-wise, why would you feel we won't break up again? Considering the amount of water that must have passed under the bridge, getting back with an ex is something that should be cautiously done. The jealousy it could trigger is something else; knowing fully well that there could be escapades which might come back to hunt you ![]() Good morning. |

"Religion is the opium of the people" - Karl Marx (1818-1883). |
This government is surely a useless one!!! Una just dey call heavy money every week to deceive the gullible! Buhari's government is a bunch of disappointment! |
Op, you have made such a wonderful post here but I disagree with your 5th point! Not everyone is required to hold on to a particular faith. In fact, it's not a must to belong to any faith...whether you are below 25 or above 83!!! Holding on to a faith comes by conviction; nobody is expected to believe in one faith or the other because he/she is about to turn 25! This is just part of that African mentality that has kept us backward. |
Aiholi:It's common among young people in Nigeria; it's something I've observed. |

Bolustic:You have been typing this rubbish since morning on every thread that has to do with the cluelessness of ur dumb saviour, Buhari. It shows you have started being ashamed of urself coz u have nothing else to defend ur dumb messiah!!! |
1bkaye:Lol!!! |
Adaobi12:True. I'm not close to family members from the paternal side. |
greatgod2012:Though, it's just that nobody know when you would meet any of them. If you are not familiar, how can you be of assistance? ![]() |
ahnie:Gush! Seems like what we used to see on Nollywood movies! ![]() |
Lie Mohammed should shut that dustbin he calls mouth!!! I blame the gullible for electing old unintelligent folks with outdated mode of thinking. Buhari and his backward ministers are allergic to sound knowledge! ![]() |
CrazyQuinn:Ok. Gudnite. |
CrazyQuinn:Really? You must be kidding me, lady ![]() |
I recently travelled to Owerri for an official matter. While in Owerri, I decided to stay in the house of an uncle of mine. Though, I wasn't too familiar with him but I managed to feel free in the house. While watching movies in the evening, his daughters (my first cousins) came back and they were introduced to me as their elder brother (we bear same surname). I must say it was an awkward experience because we were just looking at ourselves surprisingly! We had never met before and we barely knew our names. I feel as young people, we mostly don't care enough to know and relate with members of our extended family members, especially, the cousins, nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles. Knowing your family members helps because the world is large, yet, small in another sense. You never can tell where you would meet a family member of yours; how can either of you be of assistance when you don't know yourselves? City life!!! One might, out of ignorance, have something 'unholy' with one's cousin, nephew or niece.I've been trying to know and relate with family members as much as I can now. So, how well do you know and relate with your family members? |
Oh gush! Una nor go kill person with laff! ![]() |
Why don't you guys create threads on why some men will remain single? ![]() |
Na wa o!!! ![]() |
Richiy:Just what I was trying to pass across ![]() |
eph12:Yeah, it mostly becomes directionless after a long time. |
nma24: ![]() |
honeygirl17:I guess u read it upside down. |
McBrooklyn:No shaking! Na my style...u be my guy too nah ![]() |
TrapQueen77:I blinked my eyes many times before I could clearly see that u wrote 500k up there! 500k monthly? So u expect a man to start earning close to 500k monthly before he gets married? This attitude is among the reasons why so many women out there waste years in their life till they approach menopause! |
McBrooklyn:If you search the Sexuality Section, you might find a thread that covers that aspect! |
Rocktation. |
WHIZKIDEFE:Thanks, man. |
cruzita:If there's no concrete reason why long term partners in a relationship are not married, it means the affair is probably heading no where. |
TrapQueen77:What should be the priority of a jobless man? Is it not to get a job first? Any jobless man who places relationship above getting a job is foolish. If you are not ready, why delve into something you are not ready to push up to another stage? In the end, everythings comes to emotional wreckage! |
kingsilly:Long time no see ![]() |
dollyjoy:Thanks, madam. |
