According to the bible, a "sinner" is somebody who is not yet "born again", that is believed on and accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour and living in obedience to God's word.

It does not mean a totally despicable evil being like say - Ariel Castro.

God's promises in the bible are to those who have accepted the covenant work of Jesus at the cross. If you are living outside this covenant, you are then not God's problem.

The pastor has been praying all along for 13 years and the child never walked. There is no evidence to suggest that the child wouldn't had walked had he/she not been in the church that day.

Those who get healed of HIV are usually those who were sinners before, got the virus and then ran to God for healing.

There are so many things in the Bible that are inconsistent with reality and history. The actual historical existence of many figures in the Bible is yet to be confirmed. How are we then to really believe that the Bible is historically accurate? I dare to ask: how do we know that God really exists? Please leave the "I just know" or "I just believe and have faith" thingies aside. How exactly can the existence of God be proven?
