As somebody has already pointed out, you only need to pick one marble from the box labelled 1 black 1 white.

Since you know that box is incorrectly labelled, if you pick out a black marble, then it's the box having 2 blacks, if you pick out white then you know it's the box having 2 whites.

Let's assume you pick a black marble from that box, that means the remaining two must be the boxes containing 2 whites and 1 white 1 black.

How do you know which is which? Since the boxes are all incorrectly labelled, that simply means the one labelled 2 whites contains 1 white 1 black, and the box labelled 2 blacks contains 2 whites.

Get it?

You only have to pick ONE marble from the box labelled 1 white 1 black and apply simple logic to figure it out.

The bible postulates that God just is.

That is why he is called "The First and the Last", "The Begining and the End", "The Alpha and the Omega".

God has always existed, he has no "begining". This is really difficult to understand, as biological beings used to a cycle of life(begining) and death(end).

Our minds are so accustomed to our finite existence, and all the finite processes in our natural enviroment that we tend to assume everything must have a "begining" and an "end".

Restitution is definitely a sign of genuine repentance.

Basically you are restoring whatever belongs to someone else that you still have. Even a simple apology.

If you sincerely no longer have it, well you cannot restore what you do not have. A simple apology should hopefully suffice.

If you sincerely can no longer reach the individual(s), you are encouraged to restore it to God.

In all things restitution, wisdom is required. See a genuine servant of God for counseling before proceeding with difficult or sensitive cases, especially if it involves someone else.

jiorhemen: I have heard that restitution makes repentance genuine. Is restitution a must when one repents. If so, what about some things you may not be able to restore e.g: a money stolen from someone about 5 years ago and you don't even know where the fellow is now. Is it possible for a repentant armed robber to restore all he has stolen, when he can't even remember all his or her victims. What about the things taken but can't be returned? For example, how can one restore a Nokia 3310 that was stolen years back from someone you don't know. Surely, even if found, the owner won't have any value for it any more.

@op Technically speaking, atheists are not free thinkers. They are two distinct schools.

Atheists believe God doesn't exist, and claim that as if they are sure.

Free thinkers agree God may exist, though they don't necessarily agree with your own definition of God. However they are not narrow minded and are more willing to explore possibilities.

Atheist would argue that God too had to come from something and if he made everything that means there was nothing before him - which me he too came from nothing = everything from nothing.

For some reason they are unable to unwrap their minds from the concept of time and realise that it is possible that God has always existed and as such has no "beginning".

They don't understand that "time" for all it's glory is just a conceptual measure of space and momentum. In their world everything must have a "beginning" and an "end".

IMHO, it's because it's irrelevant. Imagine if God began to talk about all the scientific nature of the universe and of creation - black holes & white dwarfs, DNA & neuro-synaptic connections, geographic stratification & material properties, antiprotons and the boson, etc. How many millions upon billions of pages the bible go be?

The bible is not really a science textbook. It is a book that introduces God to mankind and mankind to God - that is it's purpose.
