Have you ever paused to wonder why the west/NATO have unanimously refused to send troops to Ukraine, just as they have done in less power in the past?
The simple answer is that as a near-peer military power, armed with nuclear weapons, Russia can't be defeated. Any intervention by NATO will quickly escalate into a nuclear exchange where there will be no winners but total desolation that will leave about 4billion of the world's population dead. It's known in Nuclear parlance as MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION.
