don't get me wrong, the cities are cool based on nigerian standard but they just look dusty.
The Sokoto photo's were taken on New Year's day according to the photographer, which falls under the dusty harmattan period, and explains the low volume of traffic in the photos if you noticed, and are markedly different from the Kaduna pics which were taken at a different time.

it looks more like a malian or sudan city.
Well it's in the same Sahel region if i'm not mistaken, so that's no surprise. However If you live in a glass house...

Rawani, nice pictures but nothing really different from the normal nigerian settings.

What visa? They went on the errand of the president allegedly with official papers, snuck into S.A and attempted to sneak out with $9m worth of illegal arms, and he's talking of needing a visa, is it to present to the gun dealers after hiding from authorities or is it to use it to roll the igbo they were smoking on the plane? This Islamic terrorist should stop insulting our intelligence, his defence is empty and dead on arrival.

F117A:
it depends on how you see it.
SCIENTIFICALLY: Oxygen is required for candles to burn.
Reducing the number of candles would definitely improve the brightness of the remaining lit candles albeit marginally depending on how much oxygen was originally available.
BUSINESS : Eliminating your rivals tend to confer on you a sort of monopolistic derived advantage depending on how much competition you eliminate.
Consumers have no choice but to patronize you.
Your revenues grow along with public estimation of your brand.
More people automatically wants to buy shares if your company is publicly traded.
That my friend is what it means for your candles to shine brighter.
Bright imagination you got there grin

F117A:
One of the most fallacious statements of all time.
It's has no scientific or business validation .
Why do you think companies spend billions eliminating rivals?
It is to make their 'candles shine even brighter'.
Wrong.

You become the only light in the room, doesn't necessarily make you any brighter. A more competitive market makes for better products, stronger companies and more robust industries.

Linda Ikeji is more than a blog, but a brand. How she handles this setback is going to either promote the brand or diminish it completely. I always wondered why she was being complacent by not getting a custom blog developed for her, with a full domain instead of using blogger's sub-domain. I understand she was trying to protect the brand, but stagnation and innovation don't mix, especially as she has a legion of bile-filled haters spurred on by her sometimes unnecessary displays of wealth, though pardonable due to her humble background. I hope she acts fast and firmly, as her brand is too valuable to be diminished by careless oversight. A 16 year old freelancer on Fiverr can solve her problem for less than $2k.

To be honest if I were in her shoes, i'd search and locate the person that parked www.lindaikeji.com and pay as much as N80m for it, if she appreciates the true value of her brand and the potential it possesses, especially after being freed from blogger's restrictions. Its his luck (the parker) and her loss, but she can turn that table if she is smart enough.

pazienza:
Dangote wants to invest in mbinga coal mines in far away Tanzania, but we have coal mines here in Nigeria, what stops him from investing in them?

Someone on this forum once accused Dangote of not having any of his industries in Igboland, but only distribution outlets, and queried why.
Could dangote be consciously avoiding making long term capital investments in Igboland?

Someone from Dangote camp should come and throw light on this.
Isn't he a backward abok.i northerner that can use his trucks to ferry BH members to Aba? Why are you now feeling abandoned and practically begging for northern presence in Igboland?

Jagaban the master strategist. I'm elated at the consideration and hopeful nomination of the able Professor. What we always needed was a strong southern christian running mate to the great general, and BAT tactfully delivered. While we know this duo have the unrivalled capacity to deliver 2015, let us not underestimate the desperation of enemies of Nigeria a.k.a the PDP at perpetuating their systemic destruction of this country and its people, we must endeavour to peacefully protect our votes and ensure we communicate the same to our supporters on the streets, let's not take the bait of coerced silence in the fear of being accused of instigating electoral violence. We must peacefully but determinedly take GMB to the villa in February, we have the numbers, we have the candidates, we have the purpose, we will have the presidency.

Heathrow is truly massive. Going from terminal 1-5 took me over 10 minutes on the blazing Heathrow Express. Maintaining the airport is an engineering and logistical marvel, so much so that it is the subject of many documentaries. However let us not compare airports without regard to their capacity needs, a bigger airport is not necessarily a better airport.

Collynzo22: Was the same army able to defeat them when they took up arms in the Niger delta? Was it due to lack of political will too? Keep living in your delusional paradise.
No one will fight that war on the same side with you, be rest assured.
You should know by now that I don't throw invectives to make my points. If however you want to talk about delusion, then kindly re-examine your statement mocking the same Nigerian Army that you have been accusing the APC, Sahara Reporters and the US of undermining. Delusional paradise indeed.
