seguno2:
I said increase the tax coverage, meaning that those who were not paying taxes before will be made to pay according to the law. It is not about increasing taxes from individuals or businesses. No.
It is about increasing the number of individuals and businesses who pay taxes adequately and properly.
What facts do you have that Kano and Kaduna states increased their tax coverage between 2015 and 2016? Or are you just making statements out of thin air?
PoliticsRe: Why Northern Leaders Worked Against Jonathan’s Govt – Paul Unongo by Rawani: 12:53pm On May 20, 2017
seguno2:
Why are you bragging about your ignorance?
IGR increase can be from EXPANDING the scope of taxation and levies with no correlation with any change in the economic activities of the state. That is why I said it is squeezing money from the people without adding anything to them in education of all children to generate future income.
I don't need to do any research. Sanusi did the research already.
But how do you think businesses or individuals that are not thriving or prospering can afford to pay increased taxes without folding up if increased taxes and not economic prosperity is your argument? This forum has truly gone to the dogs.

Thank Goodness this is a company owned by Sayyu Dantata from Kano State, and a close relative of Aliko Dangote.

At least we'll be spared from the cries of some Ugandans plagued with victim mentality. PMB keeps being vindicated day by day, one of the merits of true integrity.

MRS's denial should be thoroughly investigated.

How does a sabotaged budget change the fact that Jonathan was an incompetent, spineless, clueless and wicked looter? How does it change the fact that the ineffectual buffoon was too daft to present the budget himself?

Swerve with your iPod antics.

MCMLXXVI:
Do you now see how foolish you are?

Oya now, the COMPETENT Buhari has still gone there and disgraced himself.
Presented a budget he supposedly had NO CLUE about, then secretly stole the budget, 'corrected' it, resent it, and then came out to claim that an invisible "budget mafia" padded his budget.

This is the supreme dullard people hope will fight corruption. grin
Na like this? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

This iidddiot and his army of dunces just played a fast one on their gullible followers.

Call Jonathan whatever you like, his administration was NEVER this clueless, stuppid, m0ronic and totally helpless. grin

O ye of little mind, rise above petty sentiments and reason. I wonder why you always perceive you are hated but always fail to identify the enemies within you whose actions and inaction exceeds the realm of hatred...

What has Tompolo's billions done for the average Niger Deltan?

Where have all the billions in derivation and intervention funds gone? Certainly not to the ND.

How do you explain the fact that Otuoke still lacked potable water even after Jonathan's many years in power on several levels?

If the bombs are dropped, who suffers? Who cries we are hated again for another decade? What shock can you possibly give the President? How can you be so blind and numb to the hatred, selfishness and sabotage within?

Bigotry and sentiment are beclouding your clear reasoning. Don't expect further responses from me.

GANJAFARMER:
You're pained that I'm exposing you people for who you are.

Only a half baked Niger Deltan will listen to your mumbo jumbo, people like me that have seen you for what you are and knew you like the back of my hands will never fall for your show of fake brotherhood/nationahood masked with patriotism that doesn't even exist in your head even as you hate the same people with unimaginable passion.

Listen attentively , we hate you the same way you hate us and one day will be enough to settle this thing once and for all.

Let Buhari start the bombing and get the shock of his life.
PoliticsRe: Itsekiris Warn Tompolo To Stop Bombing OIL Facilities In Itsekiri Land or by Rawani: 10:52am On Jan 17, 2016
Look inwards to find your problem and solution.

Your insults are tired and will only bury you deeper in the abyss of self-delusion.

GANJAFARMER:
Of course as long as the oil is flowing undisturbed to feed your parasitic ass. I guess if he had run with a contrary opinion you'd have changed your song. grin

The worst thing any Niger Deltan will do to himself is to trust the self acclaimed custodian of the Nigerian sovereignty who are nothing but wicked bunch of tribal men masking themselves as patriots who won't bat an eye to undo the same Niger Deltan, only using him to further his own selfish interest.

You guys are pathetic bunch of liars with no dignity.

Tonyebarcanista, I must commend your refreshing objectivity on this issue. Focus on your points and continue to disregard myopic sentiments and weak attacks on your person.

GEJ was there for 6 years and all these voices were silent, now excuses are being given of a 'skewed' system, which was suddenly straight enough to make some criminals in the region multi-billionaires during those years, and emboldened them to boldly threaten the rest of the country (including the 'almighty' Danjuma's) if the same GEJ who abandoned the region was not returned.

Going by your warped and deficient nay non-existent logic, extant legislation is perfect and not an evolving phenomenon.

It's not my place to enlighten obstinate corruption advocates, but the reality is that Justice for all Nigerians, dead and alive, will be pursued and secured at ALL costs.

You can wail till thy kingdom come...Don Incompetento and his wicked minions must account for their trespasses.

Anarchy looms when the constitution of a federal republic is suspended, on the altar of share convenience!

Destruction awaits any Nation where people supports tyranny and fragrant disobedience to court orders!

Finally, in your little mind, justice is when the president suspends the constitutional provisions of the federal republic that brought him in the first place, with claims he is fighting corruption?

This is the most shallow and myopic sentiment I have ever came across since my entire life! My dear, you must not comment!

The way these guys are insisting on only revealing their 'project' within the security of the courts, methinks they've (Metuh & Dasuki) decided they're not going down alone without pulling down Don Incompetento himself, so even if any protection agreement between him and PMB is to be upheld, the weighty revelations in public would rubbish that possibility.

Justice will not be sacrificed on the altar of inadequate laws and legal provisions...and I'm glad the President shares the same sentiment.

It's a technicality that I'm yet to conclusively decipher. Though the tone of the article is more advisory than critical, however in the absence of a competent opposition, healthy criticism is quite welcome.

You can choose to believe whatever your subjective mind wants to, it doesn't change the reality that the North and SW alliance is a bullet proof one, especially as it has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that it can win any election in this country without a single vote from the other regions.

And no, I'm not a southerner, so you cannot tell me what alliance the North needs.

49cents:
You will live in denial until it's too late to scamper to safety

What stops Tinubu from telling buhari all these within the walls of Aso Rockhuh Did you not note the tone of criticism that The Nation used in describing for instance the Presidential Media Chat, stooping so low as to say Buhari was inaudible blah blah.....same too with their write up on the Budget

When has Tinubu become a champion for the law?

What an objective mind can see is that Tinubu isn't getting his resources back as he might have wanted and he has been sidelined from the scheme of things

Look at Saraki whom Tinubu is after; haven't you noticed that the Senate President has been given a break to "work for Buhari's good"? PMB has decieved those who thought he was going to unseat Saraki only to tell CCT to "let the man be"

Tinubu no longer has control as he'd wished; none in NASS, both upper and lower; none in the Cabinent......all he has is his media......

Like I said keep the optimism until it clears from your eyes

As for 2019 the North needs only the SS or SE or both to retain power

The SW will never learn, always looking for political crumbs againt their greater good

The third time Tinubu's media is firing shot at the President they installed

And some people deny that their isn't any love lost

Tinubu has realised his folly after leading the yoruba race to hand power to the North from the south with the promise of sharing the spoils of GEJ's ousta, only to face the bitter truth that the North no dey share power
Chubhie:
I doubt if Bubu can withstand the heat when Tinubu unleashes all his Means Of Productions to battle Our tyrant Aladeen.
Read the article again. Tinubu's outfit is actually shielding the President from slipping on a banana peel - which is the disregard of laws which are hampering his war on corruption, that could be effectively used against him by his detractors. I fully endorse this message as well.

Don't let your desperation to see the SW regret its successful and blossoming alliance with the North get the better of you.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Aide Blasts Buhari For Flagrant Disobedience Of Court Orders. Explosive by Rawani: 12:28am On Jan 13, 2016
And how exactly is constructive criticism an attack? The point he is making by that statement is that Buhari is akin to a one-man army in the fight against corruption, and he should establish judicial and executive structures that will continue the war on corruption (his legacy) even after he leaves office.

Read a book once in a while, it will help your comprehension.

AtlanticBreeze:
Goodluck with trying to sugarcoat the raw truth from the article. Here is an excerpt incase you missed it.

"If, for instance, Buhari steps down today, there is not a
structure, not even a whiff of it, to point to the debris of his
legacy. Not yet. He can start now."
PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Aide Blasts Buhari For Flagrant Disobedience Of Court Orders. Explosive by Rawani:
It's unfortunate that the OP is too emotionally locked in 'attack-Buhari' mode that he/she failed to comprehend his/her own post.

In essence, Mr. Omatseye opined that despite the fact that the law can be an ass and very inconvenient even in the matters where right and wrong are as clear as day, it must be obeyed if the anti-corruption war and other cases are premised on Justice.

Nowhere did Sam Omatseye, Tinubu or The Nation attack Buhari as the corruption advocates would like the gullible to believe.

Regardless, patience and strategy will be the watchword; and all looters must and will be prosecuted and nobody will be allowed to use the law to escape justice.

No sacred cows but the likes of Tinubu, Obj, Ameachi and Fashola are his buddies!! You guys have bastardised a lot of words in the Dictionary..so much so that one can't really tell the what some words really mean. Intergrity in what context?
The Credible source is Mr Adesina who admitted on twitter that the Yam eater collected what was due to him as an ex Head of State(entitlements ACTUALLY MEANT FOR EX PRESIDENTS not military crooks)..entitlements he collected in 2012 which was supposed to be renewed by 2016 after 4yeeeaaars. Opps!! i just remembered that the chief Yam Eater got F9 in the fake result they flaunted in our faces..i guess Dasuki flunked maths to have given such outrageous entitlements 2 years later!! Pass one side biko!! A thief is a thief...he should prove the so called Intergrity some of you boast about by not being selective!! All the thieves INCLUDING HIM, should cough out their stolen monies. Finish!! Only then can stand on any platform to call your mallam "a man of Intergrity"..until then, he remains a vindictive Joke!!
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Must Speak On Dasuki Scandal – PDP by Rawani(op): 3:01pm On Jan 12, 2016
Keep running around in circles till you knock yourself out, the fact remains that Jonathan must pay for his wicked, corrupt and clueless activities as President.

Unfortunately, all you can do is wail.

repogirl:
No other leader has that reputation and yet he's the highest honoured of them all, even nominated for the almighty Nobel peace award. Lol.

You say he looted, but I must have missed the amount which he looted. Can you pls paste a link so I can see where Jonathan diverted funds to his private accounts.

Even the news says the money wasn't used for political campaign, so where you got info on his looting is quite baffling.

APC should show us where Amaechi got the funding to sponsor their campaign, but I guess that isn't looting because he is an APCheater.

Come unto APC, all thieves and heavy looters from PDP and your sins shall be washed as white as snow, behold all things shall become new.

Abeg, no one is fooled. Nigeria is a rotten country and that's that.

Meanwhile, my question is despite the so called looting, were arms bought or not bought? When the US and Co were blocking our avenues to buy, which money was involved?

When South Africa confiscated all that money, was it not for arms?

What weapons are the soldiers currently using to fight, I wonder if its not arms that Jonathan bought.

When the soldiers began bombarding BH just before the elections,I wonder what they were fighting with, is it not arms?

Please APC and Booohari should quit trying to muddy Jonathan.... He did what he could with this rotten country.

If Booohari hadn't made inciteful comments in the first place, BH probably wouldn't have been fueled and their devilish cause might not have begun.
