Collynzo22: So who do you think will fight that war with you?
Later you will say you guys are not parasites.
The only person that has mentioned war here is your mujahideen mentor Dokubo. My earlier point stands that if anyone thinks they can be a parallel army in this country, they will be dealt with by the Nigerian Armed Forces which is comprised of gallant Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw and Igbo officers. Don't let the NA weaknesses in the NE fool you, that was a manifestation of the lack of political will. The Nigerian Forces are ready to uproot any attempt by your islamic terrorist mentor to balkanize our dear country.

Happy Birthday Omenka, a witty and vibrant comrade. You have floated above petty clannishness and nepotism that is characteristic of this forum, in the interest of truth. I wish you more wisdom, prosperity and all the best life can offer. Pop one Bombay on behalf of the progressives. Cheers fam.

Cramjones don't allow this beautiful thread to be derailed.

@ Topic

I opined to someone yesterday that I think the weapons that were meant to be bought in SA were not particularly meant for BH, but were latest additions to the continuous stockpiling of arms by GJ and his ethnic warlords for some sort of war. Asari the Islamic terrorist cannot be boasting of war with the remainder of their surrendered arms from the amnesty and we know it. They have been stockpiling arms for their criminal activities and evil plans, which will fail woefully because MEND and co. cannot win a battle with Nigeria, talk less of a war. The people of the SS are not so myopic to think the world starts and ends with GJ, the likes of Okogie and Tam West have spoken. Jonathan had better chain his lapdog before it swallows what will consume both it and it's master.

Propaganda is their main weapon as they lack true substance with which to work with, which is why we must continue to hammer them with truth and superior logic in argument. Victory is certain.

Exactly. I am saying they should both be picking up each other's soap in Kirikiri's bathrooms by May.

Impeccable marksmanship by the wise cardinal. Jonathan and Oritsejafor should be prison mates by next year if there is any justice in the world.

Nwanneluv: If your statement is correct, then what does he stand to gain by killing his people?
- First of all, he doesn't see northerners as his people. They are the opposition, and must be dealt with.

- He stands to benefit from the voter apathy in the north which is his weakest zone, less voters in the North equal less votes for the opposition.

- He stands to benefit further support from the SE which naively see's the violence in the north as nemesis for the various uprisings in the north which has always resulted in loss of Igbo lives and property.

-He stands to benefit from the opportunity to loot campaign funds from the ever-rising defence budget. Last weeks approval of $1b for him comes to mind.

- He stands to benefit from using the staged defeat of BH as campaign material, NA's recent miraculous victories comes to mind.

- He gains an opportunity to witchhunt his opponents by labelling them as sponsors. The number of times the Presidency has called the opposition BH is only exceeded by the number of times the government has proven that it is behind Boko Haram.

Mogidi: As long as you Hausas refuse to confront the bogey man you created, theres very little others can do to help you.

Stop living in denial.
It is not Hausa's that are stumbling about shooting themselves in the foot all over the place. You should cure the perennial headache that is your continued support for failure and incompetence, instead of throwing baseless allegations around without an iota of substance. I implore you as a comrade in this struggle for good governance, to adopt a progressive stance and join the movement for the enthronement of purposeful leadership, the kind encapsulated in the great General MB.

exxell: Election is around the corner and suddenly all these bad news about Boko Haram is coming out? After all these years? When will Nigerians open their eyes and see that this clueless government are the real Boko Haram? They know that majority of Nigerians are daft and ignorant. This current administration which was founded on lies and fraud just like our country Nigeria was dead on arrival. Knowing fully well that they wont achieve anything, they decided to blame their inept and crass failure on Boko Haram. Whose name would sound so appealing to Nigerians for their mass failure other than Buhari? The federal government is aware that the average Nigerian being so retarrded in mind, is governed by sentiments, ethnic bigotry and tribalistic slur. So, they decided to play the blame game.

Boko Haram my foot. Let me tell all of you, the current Boko Haram are not Nigerian Hausas. THEY ARE IMPORTED MERCENARIES FROM SUNNI DOMINATED MUSLIM AFRICAN COUNTRIES. MOST OF THEM ARE ALSO HIRED FROM THE MAGHREB. NO TRUE MUSLIM CAN KILL ANOTHER MUSLIM OR ANY OTHER RELIGION MEMBER. I will defend my view even in heaven. No Hausa can Kill fellow Hausa. A Hausa man loves his fellow human being more than anything on earth. Religion apart. They are not even materialistic. I have had contact with true Nigerian muslims. These people are so nice. Am not talking about the fundamentalists like ISIS. NIGERIANS, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS SPONSORING THESE PEOPLE. BELIEVE ME. THEY ARE RUNNING COVERT OPERATIONS WITH THE HELP OF FOREIGN SPIES.

If Nigerians are sincere to themselves, just go within your room and meditate within themselves about the current state of the nation. If they are honest and objective in their meditations, they will discover that this current administration is a mass failure. This administration is leading us to abyss. Just get the manifesto of the current president which he promised to deliver on during his campaign speeches. One will discover that he fulfilled little or non of them. Practically every sector in this country is dead under them. The education sector is dead, health sector is dead, power sector is dead, security sector is dead, sports sector is dead. Ok... Lets pretend that Boko Haram is responsible for their failure in the security sector... What about other sectors! THIS CURRENT ADMINISTRATION IS LEADING THIS COUNTRY TO ABYSS. PDP IS LOOTING THIS COUNTRY DRY. I DONT EVEN KNOW IF APC IS ANY BETTER. THEY ARE THE SAME WATER BOILING IN DIFFERENT POTS SIMPLE!

Please, vote out this man come 2015. I am not supporting Buhari either. Am saying this for the tribal and sentimental bigots that will quote me. Mind all of you, I am a confirm legit Igbo dude from Anambra. I a Christian and a Catholic for that matter. So, nobody should play the religious or ethnic card on me. Am just being honest.

For Nigerians abroad, dont mind most of the positive reviews about this country and present administation that you see online. This country is SO BAD RIGHT NOW AND HAVE GONE TO THE DOGS... WE REALLY NEED GOD's INTERVENTION. Federal government, Una well done oo. I really doff my cap for PDP [/b]
Quick correction sir. Boko Haram, or any other terrorist group has never been made up of Hausa's/Fulani. They are Kanuri, the same people behind Maitatsine sect of the 80's. It's easy to get it muddled up as most Nigerians see all northerners as Hausa, so I assume it was a innocent mistake. Good analysis by the way, though i don't agree with all your points.

jennylove7575: you have a point but taking a close look at this issue without being bias, the issue is very complex...I tried to put myself in his shoes..then I questioned, what if the house I paid contractors to build for me suddenly collapsed and killed people, would I be held responsible because I financed the project? Hmm! Its complex and complicated.
The issue here is criminal negligence. If you paid contractors to build an nursery school for you, and they built it with a foundation that can carry the weight of the building, theres no problem. When you now ask those contractors to add another floor on that same foundation, without permission from the authorities, and the building becomes too heavy for the foundation, causing it to collapse and kill innocent 2-year olds, then you are criminally negligent. If TBJ had obtained permission for those extra floors which weakened the structure, or he took measures to strengthen the foundation or support the structure (e.g. pillars), nobody would be pointing fingers at him. Why would anyone be against TBJ?
Politics › Re: Group Issues 7-day Ultimatum To Governor Fashola To Arrest, Prosecute T.B Joshua by Rawani:
Codedrock: But why does the whole Nigeria want this man prosecuted??
Even if it wasn't the aircraft that crush the building was it him who went there and hit the building himself??

This man didn't know something like this is gonna happen, u guys too should consider what he is gonna be feeling now.
Prosecuting will do nothing, it won't be bring the dead back, it will only make us lose another Great man..

Anyways.. Even if lagos agrees.. Do sensible people here think he is really gonna go to prison for this??

Bad people with hatred sha...
This is the most backward thinking post I have read in ages. You are trying to absolve blame from a man who knowingly approved the addition of unauthorised and life-threatening floors to a building housing his 'dear' followers, which subsequently collapsed and killed over 100 innocent women and children. What do you mean he didn't know what was going to happen? If you stack glass plates on top of each other...wouldn't you know there's a height it would reach where the pile of plates will come crashing down? The truth is nobody will go to build storeys on a building without the approval of the owner.

What amazed me particularly was the shameless gloating that TBJ will not got to prison for causing the death of over 100 christian souls who trusted him with their lives. How can one be so cold, insensitive and unfeeling to expressly wish that justice be denied for these innocent victims and their dozens of dependants? Are you suggesting that different laws should be made for citizens? You are mocking the justice system under the Goodluck administration to assume that he will not be prosecuted, which is not surprising considering his apathy for the rule of law and gross insensitivity as shown by his body language at the collapse site.

Those of us with a conscience never really expected the Nigerian authorities to do anything concrete about this issue. What we are waiting for are the diplomatic fireworks currently being primed by the South African government, so it's wiser that he is investigated and tried here before he is bundled to the ICJ.

Politics › Re: Boko Haram Agree To Release All 219 Chibok Girls by Rawani: 6:06pm On Sep 23, 2014
What they fail to realise is that BH has graduated beyond petty bomb throwing and kidnapping, to a land-grabbing campaign aimed at establishing and expanding their islamic caliphate with no limit to scope, a la ISIL. Those girls are actually liabilities to their captors under their new modus operandi.

What they need are strategists and master planners that will help expand their territory to the furthest limits possible, the likes of Kabiru Sokoto that can take the campaign to the NW, yet the Nigerian authorities are playing right into their hands and anticipating praise for their gross and appalling naivety.

This was part of the plan all along, make the government desperate to earn some credibility before the elections, then blackmail it into shooting its own foot multiple times.

Oh what a clueless government we have.

curiouses: And whose fault is it that your state of being up north is in such a pitiable condition?
The dolt was referring to his village all along.
Culture › Re: The Plight Of The Northern Child by Rawani:
The OP should have put his points forward as what he feels is the plight of the average rural dweller in Zamfara State, instead of masquerading as a northerner to start another round of north bashing, a NL pastime. The OP could not disclose specifics like the name his rural community or even LGA, yet expects people to take him serious. Look at these statements for Christ's sake:

leerikz: ..true words...... from a Northern teenager's point of view
leerikz: This was written by a young Nigerian.. Just looking at things from the other point of view.. I am in no way supporting insurgency of any kind..
It's interesting that our BH youngster is also a Lil-wayne fan, they must have been seriously rocking the village square with cattle-powered sound systems in the midst of head bopping Islamic teachers.

Leerikz: i am guessing you won't know the real lil wayne even if he took you out on a date tongue..I'm a big fan of this dude.. His evolution is the definition of hardwork and commitment.. What i love most apart from his rap skills is that he produces his own hits... Team Phynofino all the way biko!
Now let me tell you OP, your predicament is not different from that of any underprivileged and poverty ravaged rural dweller anywhere in Nigeria. I chuckled at you stating the absence of power in your rural community when some parts of URBAN Nigeria have lacked electricity supply for months. There is no doubt that the absence of western education contributes to the lack of development of a significant number of the northern youth, just as the abysmally low standard of education has stifled the potential of the average Nigerian youth and perpetuated the cycle of poverty which stands at about 59% in the best parts and 77% in the worst parts of Nigeria.

Choosing to steal, kill and destroy the lives of innocent Nigerians and blocking any economic opportunities to better the situation you are groaning about, and then blaming the same poverty that exists everywhere in Nigeria in varying degrees for that decision is not only foolish, but myopic and deceitful.

Painting your unfortunate circumstances as a villager in Zamfara and decision to be a blood sucking terrorist, as the plight of the Northern youth, is not only a aberration of logic but a slap on the face of every urban, educated, hardworking, and self-fulfilled contemporary young northerner.

Of course this is assuming I don't know the OP is a pained and bigoted Yiboe.

barcanista: Rightly said
I learnt that a similar incident happened in China years ago, and it was just a walkway that collapsed in a mall killing dozens of people. Poor enforcement of building codes and substandard practices meant over 50 people, from the regulatory authority to the engineering team, were executed after being found guilty of negligence. TBJ should count himself lucky to have such an inept President that should not be seen hobnobbing with him, as it could be misinterpreted that he could be biased in investigations, and I doubt if he will receive more than a tap on the wrist for his alleged offence.
Politics › Re: Blood On Their Hands- The Times Magazine by Rawani: 1:44pm On Sep 21, 2014
Lordlexyy: But where exactly do you draw the line between an accident and a criminal behaviour. We all know what happened at the synagogue could happen anywhere.
The key word here is Negligence. If the building collapse is proven to be as a result of negligence on the part of TBJ, as could be inferred from reports of unapproved floors being added to the building, then he is criminally liable.
