Now would be a good time to give Nigerians an expose on the questions asked above.

I believe we have addressed these issues in the recent past...

The challenges are immense, but you should recognize, appreciate and acknowledge the degree of the rot you handed over as well.

Who failed to solve the electricity problem which we have inherited, and failed to restore the refineries and instead wasted billions of dollars in scam off-shore processing agreements which Diezani and co. used to fleece this country, ultimately causing perennial fuel scarcities all through his tenure? The aftermath is what we live with today.

Who failed to diversify our economy from oil in the time of oil-price boom, and emptied our foreign reserves through a combination of corruption and incapacity to lead which ended in him being tricked by his governors to share the SWF? The DIRECT aftermath of these are the economic troubles we are facing today under low oil prices, and high exchange rates which our efforts to control is resulting in our ejection from bond indexes.

Who supervised the looting and mismanagement of of the defence budget through his aides (Dasuki n co.) which seriously hampered the fight against BH, and resulted in the loss of thousands of lives? The failure to fight the terrorists with political will and sincerity, resulted in their blossoming and is the reason we are still fighting them today.

You see, while we are not blind to the realities that face us today, its is an insult to conscience, logic and common sense for the same set of people that wanted all of the above and more to continue till 2019, to come and pontificate about good governance while condemning a President that inherited these challenges just seven months ago.

Put simply, you lack the moral capital to admonish or condemn Buhari or Buharists.

Get me right bro. I am neither for or against any of the leaders past present or future, I am only looking at what should be proper. Having said that, is it good governance for the president to micro manage execution of contracts or implementation of projects based purely on the amount involved? What happened to delegation (of course without abdication).

If an NSA cannot work through the process of procurement and disbursement of those items based on his expertise, is the president better qualified to follow through? If he joined the implementation process and had a wool over his eyes, would he not be more complicit, lets reason together. I usually bow to stronger and higher logic.

The root of the issue is that the funds were not appropriated, a fact which Ngozi clearly acknowledged in her letter, but yet were approved and disbursed on executive order to the CBN. The succeding revelations show that the funds were then diverted to Dokpesi and co. as part of fees for Jonathan's re-election campaign.

These were funds that were supposed to be used to protect the lives of 5,000 soldiers and 25,000 civilians lost to Boko Haram so far.

Jonathan failed to deliver the 2nd Niger Bridge to the SE, failed to develop or clean up his own SS and marginalized the SW which he disregarded till the elections.

Jonathan failed the North, and shot himself in the foot by establishing almajiri schools, when the almajiri system is an ideology (twisted) and not a result of lack of public schools. He failed to develop its solid mineral potentials and empowered thugs to insult the region instead.

The flaw in your argument is twofold.

1. You have failed to acknowledge the primacy of rights of others, in the process of exercising your right to free speech. Your right to swing your elbow, ends where my right to have an unbroken nose starts.

2. Your core argument is hinged and anchored on 'what NL is supposed to be'. That decision is legally and customarily for a business owner(s) to make, and no one else. It's called a vision and a mission, which can only be guided but not determined by the desires of the customer.

I emphasize that your assertion that Seun's order is a gag order which could silence the agitation, is completely untrue and overtly dramatic, in light of the plethora of fora available to continue the agitation in their desired fashion. The current envelope the message is carried in (hatred, incitement and provocation) is clearly not in consonance with the vision Seun has for his business.

There are several other fora where the agitators and their provocative approach could express their voices, so asserting that the regulation of their activities on just nairaland is equal to gagging or silencing them, is deceptive, exaggerated and overtly dramatic.

Jonathan approved the disbursement of over $2.1 Billion and N650+ billion ex-budgetary funds from the Central Bank of Nigeria, under the label of 'security vote' to purchase arms, the same monies were then diverted to his Presidential campaign, including disbursements of over 2 Billion naira to Raymond Dokpesi.

All of this while Nigerians were perishing in their thousands.

There is nothing even similar about both cases.

He does not sign cheques as he told you. Nobody talked about any special executive order because it was a regular expenditure and not ex-budgetary, so it was likely not necessary for that particular project.

This is a chance for the North to wipe off the label of religious uprising and leave it for those that have decided to wear it boldly on their chests. Kudos to El-Rufai and the arewa governors working hard to ensure that the unwarranted provocation does not escalate.
