I am not a muslim and will never be one but i know a couple of muslim(hausa) guys that are extremely kind hearted, down to earth and respectful. I remember when a christian boss stopped the catering company from feeding us, ibrahim (a caterer) was bringing meal to feed me for almost 2 years.

Here is my take. Northern oligarchs wanted to disrupt GEJ government, they brought in some people's cousins and nephews from niger republic, sprinkled some hungry amajiris into the group and armed them to the teeth.
