Those who are agitating amnesty for BH hv in their mind form day one as the strategy to share oil money up north. The greatest mistakes any government cn make is givn amnesty to BH, cuse de moment that is done, u will see many groups from different part of the country comitting cram against state and humanity all in the name of amnesty at the end. I personally i wouldn't mind if that cn fetch me some money.

OsunOriginal: What is all these shout about xtian this xtian that? Why are xtians this bigoted and always concerned about the religion of the leader? If the muslims also come out to insist on a muslim leader, what will happen? The Boko Haram situation we are now presently facing in the north.

Xtians should focus more on their religion rather than politics here and there.
that is wht Christians were doing and the Muslim think Christians are not political incline. Christian understand separation of faith from politics bt Islam will tell u the two have to go together. So if Christian keep avoiding their role in politics, Muslim may feel that Christians are political blind. So Christians hv to show that they too understand wht Muslim think their are the only one who understand that.

From the look of things if APC is ready to win power come 2015 they have just two options, one bring in a Christian presidential candidate from the north. or, two bring in presidential candidate from the S.E. Weather we like it or not northern Christian will not vote for any Muslim candidate from the region as against GEJ from the SS. And likewise the same apply to SS, SE, SW and NC nomatter how ppl think GEJ is been hate, Christians from this regions will preferred him to any Muslim candidate come 2015 even Christians in the cor-north will rather vote GEJ than for them to vote a Muslim candidate from the north which their believe hate they with passion. from the way religion has divide the country, this are the APC chances of winning any state from the SS, SE most likely some state in SW and NC. If not the only regions APC will have advantage ovena GEJ is NE and NW with 100% vote, bt remember PDP understand the game well, so they may likely drop sambo as VP and look for strong VP candidate form the NE or NW who can influence voters from that region.

Pulling out of CAN, will that solve the problem with the management of CAN if there any? I hv not seen where a man attempt running away from his own sin. If catholic church pull out of CAN does that stop them from been Christians? The answer is No. So why are they trying to shy away from the problem there are directly or indirectly part of, instead of providing solutions. This is one of the wast decision any one or body can take in a situation like this. I am advising the leadership of catholic churches in Nigeria to hv a rethink over there Decision 2 pull out of CAN. I believe it not on the best interest of Catholics or Christians in general they are doing this.

Jerie: 36 states minus 19 Northern states equals 17 left.
Subtract 6 SW states plus Lagos, you have 11 states.
He'll lose 2 or 3 SE states. Leaves us wit 8 states.
He'll win in Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross-River (joint population is not up to Lagos Central Senatorial District o!).

By the time Obj, Northern Boys, the Governors, Asari, and Nairalanders are thru with him ehn....
who is lying to you? Jonathan will win adamawa, benue, kogi, jos, nasaraw, may be kaduna or 60/40% and mind you Jona has unseen great influence in many northern state that u may nt knw nw. Talk of sw he will win with wide margin. We already knw wht will happen in ss and SE so nothing will make you think jona will not win if he desid to run come 2015, personally he wll hv my vote. Nt for religious sentiment, bt cause i knw he has good will for this country.

I strongly believed Mr president has a very good intention toward this country only that some evil men are doing all they can to make him look like he is a bad leader (doing nothing). I wnt to advice as a patriotic nigerian that, Mr president should be focus on his transformation agendas and also embark on the projects that will have fiscal impart on ppl in the coming year (2013). by doing so he will win ppls heart. Project that ppl will see, feel and touch. Try to create more jobs and make the process of job creation more transparent so i dnt hv to knw Mr A or B before i get a job. Thank u Mr president, happy new year and i pray that God will give u wisdom like that of king Solomon for you to lead this country well. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

GEJ is saying bad road is not responsible for most of the accidents on our road but rather driving attitude of Nigerians - and justified this by the number of accidents on his "good" roads and the bad one. You know most Nigerians are reckless drivers and drunkards.

GJE needs help.

Negative Attitude give birth to corruption if our attitude is right we will do things right and we dnt hv to talk about corruption any more bt if u doubt wht Mr president said then ask any American citizens why is the system in America working fin and the level of corruption in they country is nt as high as our, they will tell u, positive attitude towards the country and almost every things they do. Politics / Re: PDP To CPC: You Are Too Blind To Notice Jonathan’s Achievements” by Raxz(m): 12:07pm On Dec 28, 2012
GistVillage: The leading Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lambasted opposition party, the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) over its comment on President Goodluck Jonathan’s speech on Christmas day, saying that the party would lead Nigeria to a senseless war if given the opportunity.

The CPC had earlier described the PDP as being “more interested in seizing political power rather than the adequate planning for effectual governance,” noting that Jonathan has not achieved any meaningful thing since he assumed office as the president.

Reacting, National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, described the statement as a ritual bereft of imagination or sincerity.

The PDP said: “President Jonathan has invested heavily in critical infrastructures such as power, road and rail transport, security, agriculture, education among others. While the maturity span of some of these infrastructure is long term and are expected to yield benefits in coming years, there is abundant evidence that steady gains are already crystalizing in sectors such as power, education and rail transport.

“The CPC will definitely be blind to this steady progress because constructive engagement is not the ultimate motivation of its criticism,” the statement said.

On the alleged mismanagement of the nation’s resources, the PDP said:

“Even in 2011 when the CPC took desperation to a criminal level, orchestrating an orgy of election violence that claimed many lives, Nigerians stood firm for the PDP in an election adjudged locally and internationally as the most credible in the nation’s recent record. But has the PDP squandered its mandate,” the statement asked.

“This can only be true in the diseased imagination of the CPC. The PDP has remained the only truly national party on whose shoulders revolve the unity of the nation. Need we say that a Nigeria in the hands of a political party like the CPC is on an express road to Somalia.

“The PDP met Nigeria a pariah state, retrieved and returned it to the centre stage of global reckoning. It is also on record that at a time the economy of the western nations was hobbled by the global melt down with banks collapsing, no bank in Nigeria suffered similar fate.

“Similarly, as part of the party’s strategy against corruption, the PDP liberalized the economy and threw the door open to generate new jobs. The party also established anti-corruption agencies, the EFCC and ICPC as well as enacted the Freedom of Information law to enhance transparency in governance. The party’s dispassion in winning the battle on corruption has seen even senior members of the party convicted for corruption.

”We must add, that our battle on corruption is total and that President Jonathan has won the most critical aspect of it which is against electoral corruption. Nigerians now go to the polls and are sure their votes will count””. There is no shorter road to good governance than when mandate and withdrawal of it depend entirely on the people,” the statement concluded.
