It's because of poverty

According to statistics, as a country grow richer, There are chances that the people there will get taller

A good example is South Korea, Do you know that 50 years ago, An average height in South Korea is barely 5.5?

But today, More than 65% of south Korea men are taller than 5.10

Nobody know the reason for this but some say it is because as a country grow richer, More and more people start to have access to a good diet and balance diet which in return helps in Growth

If Messi was in countries like Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, e.t.c, He will be one of the tallest people there as the average height for these countries is around just 5 foot 5
