Nobody is having headache. In fact the federal government doesn't give a damn at all, that is why for all these years neither Buhari nor Tinubu cared enough to even bat an eye lid towards the sit at home, same as other Nigerians. Nobody cares if the south east were to do sit at home every day of the week till Jesus comes. It is the state governments that realize this and are now taking actions to stop it. Mbanda: Since you believe that, the hausas and yorubas are not affected in anyway. Why are you having severe headache over the sit at home protest happening in SE? |
Politics › Re: "Open Your Markets And Shops Tomorrow"- IPOB To Main Market Traders by Razzness(m): 10:45pm On Jan 26 |
Sit at home is one of the most futile and irrational things I've ever seen. It just doesn't make sense to me, because at the end of the day it is your own people that are loosing, not Yoruba or hausa. Its just like those people in some countries that go on hunger strike, it makes me wonder "is it not your self, you are doing" instead of you to eat food and have strength to protest, you choose to starve yourself. That is exactly what IPOB are doing. |

What is the fallacy? That Islam is a terrible religion or what? notobiafrababe: Shut up. I'm also a convert but the narrative you're spreading is total fallacy. The comments of most Christians I read here makes me shake my head. 90 percent of Nairaland Christians don't even understand the religion they are practicing. It 100% does. DT has been mad for sometime now, maybe old age or what have you. A lot of his recent actions have been mental. Picking a fight with Europe and NATO, placing tarriff on them and insulting them on social media. That is always how every great leader fall, fighting with your allies. North - they are one of the people strongly against division because of Religion and Resources.
West - Because of Politics and resources.

Continue saying rubbish, you will soon land yourself in Sokoto with your grand patron. do you think anybody chose to be in Nigeria. There are nearly 400 ethnic groups in Nigeria, so we should divide Nigeria into 400 countries because our belief and values do not align. If we were to go by your logic, the Hausa kingdom should start somewhere in Niger State, parts of Chad and Cameroon, and up to Agadez in the Niger Republic. Blunt99: The Nigeria Minister of information should speak for himself.
It is a religion perspecution - and we categorize it as such.
Further more, we are definitely not one Nigeria.
Our values and belief and politics doesn't in anyway align with oneanother.
We are just forced to be one - until the great awakening shakes and disintegrate this hell. |

You have really gone far in your oblivion; there is no reasoning with people like you. I love America, probably more than you do, but I refuse to be blinded to reality. Nwaikpe: I understand the type of person I am conversing with. A person who most probably will refer to Hamas as "moral" while Israel and America as "Immoral."
I noticed that you listed the places America went to bring normalcy, but decided to ignore the fact that the actions of America were for the greater good.
- 2 nukkes on Hiroshima, with 140,000 casualties, to stop a war that claimed 22 million and could claim 300 million more? - Went ot Iraq and casualties were 1 million when the actions of Saddam Hussein on HIS OWN PEOPLE using weaponized gas were soaring in the millions. - 20 years in Afghanistan when they were the base of a terrorist group called Taliban, AlQaeda, ISIS, etc. of which Sheikk Osama bn Laden was carved from, and went ahead causing a casualty of 3000 people in one event. Imagine if America did not go in and take out his likes. Imagine if they were still around and had the opportunity of plenty of such events. - Took out Gaddafi not because he was against America but because he was against his own people. I guess you don't even know that it was not by an American hand he transited. It was by the hand of a proud justice seeking Libyan justice that brought him out of a gutter-like tunnel and did it. So, do you know more about the conflict in Libya than the Libyans themselves? - Gaza..... Who should America have supported? Hamas? Well, Iran, Yemen, Boko Haram, ISIS, Hezbollah, Houthis, et,c have been supporting them. We know the ideology that sponsors their support. That is why they keep failing.
Therefore, America has always been for the common good. America is the hand of God on the earth, for Justice.
As for Russia and China. I told you. America can change its country within 2 hours even without using the maximum weaapon. But the only restraint America has is the tendency of those two nations. The tendency to take down everything with themselves than go down alone. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: US Cancel Second Wave Of Attack As Venezuela Releases Political Prisoners by Razzness(m): 3:59pm On Jan 09 |
For you to even use the words "America" and "morality" in the same sentence shows how gullible you are. You are talking about a country that went to Iraq and killed 1 million people because they "had nuclear weapons," a country that spent 20 years in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban, only to withdraw after killing 250,000 people, a country that sponsored a genocide in Gaza, the only country to use nuclear weapons in the history of the world, killed over 100,000 people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the country that overthrew Gaddafi and left us with a mountain of weapons that are now arming the present-day Boko Haram. If I believed in God, then I would say only he can judge the sins of the US. On the issue, Putin has been carrying out an illegal war in Ukraine for about 3 years, and the US has not taken any action against him. They are even inviting him to come and drink tea in the White House, because America knows engaging Russia in an open war will be national suicide; that much is obvious even to the blind. The only countries the US flexes its muscles against are countries like Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Nigeria, Honduras, and the rest. If China decides to take Taiwan today, the only thing the US can do is to strongly condemn it and place sanctions on them. If Russia finishes with Ukraine and decides to take Kazakhstan or wherever, the US can only condemn it, but even in their wildest dreams they would not even throw stones into those countries, because the result is not something they would like to find out. Even small North Korea, America cannot attack. Nwaikpe: Lolzz
None of those you mentioned is strong enough to contend with 1/5th of the United States' might. Their only leverage and saving grace are two things:
1. They own nuclear weapons 2. America is a very moral nation with working systems and people answering for their decisions.
Not that any of those nations can do anything to the US oh, it's just that they have a doctrine of maximum destruction. As observed with Iran's Ballistics. They shot at Israel without caring that many fell in Lebanon, Jordan, etc. And the morality of America doesn't permit them to provoke such in respect to nuclear actions. Nothing will actually reach America, but the chaos in the world will still affect America. So they restrain. Moreover, with the massive systems of checks and balances in the US, no one can just wake up and declare such actions without checks from the other side of American politics. That is why it is called AMERICA. |

I remember 2023 elections, Kwankwaso fought like a mad man for him to be governor, travelled across all the 44 local governments of Kano and campaigned for him, he was hosting radio and television programs everyday campaigning. Baba even slept in INEC office on the day of election till they finish counting votes. Only God knows what Tinubu is saying to this governors. |
