spiceeamiee: I think you can. I got from Liftedhands so you can ask her. Like i said, a combination of things is what is working for me. I took Aju Mbaise from week 1 to week 5 by which time my waist was 39. I have stopped taking it and my belly is still going down. What you eat is a major contributory factor. Also google core exercises for post partum mum's. They are gentle exercises involving using your stomach muscles to breathe so as to strengthen them. 10mins of those exercises everyday is enough and with a good grade waist cincher, you would definitely see improvements. Thanks mama. My diet is fine and I eat before 7pm. Unripe plantain flour is the only swallow I take. I take oats and Pap with moimoi or beans in d morning. I will keep trying. Thanks. |

spiceeamiee: 1. My girl has this. A sprinkling of Silverbird on a bib around her neck helps. A.c. and fan on lowest settings. Steam inhalation too.
2. Hope you are measuring the formular according to how it should be? One levelled scoop to 30mls of water, no more no less. My mama was trying to make it more creamy for my baby and was putting 4 full, unlevelled scoops to 90mls water for my baby and she was constipated until she confessed by herself that she may have been making her feed too creamy. That was how constipation stopped. Also, try giving warm water first thing in the morning. He won't like it at first but continue.
3. Sebamead. IMO don't mind that Shea butter and coconut oil stuff. I did that for my first baby, original ori and oil from Ghana. Under two weeks pikin don black like charcoal. By the time I changed to Chicco, it was late. Complexion don set. This time, I was prepared and got all Sebamead baby range. They are small, and don't last as long unless you manage well but my baby is so fair and her complexion is so smooth and clear.
4. What I did: Aju mbaise as soon as I got home. Won't say it made my tummy flat but it did push out all the blood. Lemon in warm water every morning. Flat tummy does not come magically. What do you eat? I'm 8weeks pp tomorrow and what I eat mostly is sweet potatoes, lots of egg, cheese and sausage, lots of fish and chicken, oats swallow, beans, moi moi, bulgur wheat as rice substitute, quinoa, all in controlled portions.. My tea is Lipton or pure cocoa with skimmed milk. I drink 3 litres of water everyday. I have a bottle for that and I finish it and even more sometimes. I eat pastries and ice cream and sweets once in a while. I got a latex waist cincher from zaraxshapewear on IG. Started wearing after 3weeks. Waist was 41 when I started. I'm on the last hook now. Measured yesterday and waist was 35. Would get a smaller one. I wear everyday for 8hours minimum. At 8weeks you should be wearing a cincher/trainer but please check with your doctor.
5.if your incision has healed, you don't need to apply spirit any more. The site will still be raised but it will flatten over time. You can get Shea butter to massage the site and surround areas so as to stop keloids from forming and Also, release surrounding tissues Wow! Thanks so so much for the detailed response mama. I'm grateful. Thank you. How do you go about the steam inhalation? My friend said silverbird is not good for babies, that it affects their lungs but I have at home. Can I still take Aju mbaise cos my monthly flow is fully back?. |

Halcyon123: My dear, take a deep breath. Keep trying with the water since he is on formula the water is a must. Try using spoon for now. Please, ignore dose body shamers, u just had a baby and through cs that they won't understand. Please just turn a deaf ear to dem, with time they will move on. OK.. I'll try using spoon to give him water. Thanks so much mama. I've tried to turn a deaf ear but they won't just let me be great. Thanks so much. |

FloraEC: Powder is not advisable to use on babies especially newborn The boots powder I've is the one I bought for my daughter since 2016 and I just opened it yesterday. Really? Pearl05: How do you cope and manage with your breast after delivery. Had my baby on Tuesday and baby's jaw is not strong yet to suck very well. I couldn't sleep last night as my breasts were as heavy as big stones were loaded inside. Very heavy and painful too. Please is there anything I can take to manage it?

No waka pass your home girl biko. Mama, please continue to put baby to breast. After my CS, I was in pain and I couldn't put baby to breast for 2days. My boob's were engorged and painful. On day 3, baby couldn't latch well cos I couldn't hold him properly cos of my stitiches. My breast was full and hubby squeezed enough milk out with his hands cos we forgot the breast pump at home. Not putting baby to breast when I just had him affected my milk production, uptil now baby takes SMA gold 1 cos my breast milk doesn't hold him. My baby eats alot, he has switched to big bottle and he's just 8weeks+ Get a good breast pump to express milk for baby. If you can get fenugreek seed, boil a teaspoon first thing in d morning and drink. Take enough by pap and liquid milk. |

BS
I announced my BFP on the TTC thread June 2018 few months after my wedding. I joined the TTC group cos I was worried something could be wrong cos I didn't get pregnant on my wedding night (JJC). The journey wasn't easy, I discovered I had fibroid coexisting with my baby at week 13. I had threatened abortion when my baby was 4weeks+ and we got the sad news of a vanishing twin. The fibroid did not allow my second baby live but in all I thank God. I didn't experience morning sickness but I couldn't eat due to metallic taste in my mouth. I drank cold water from week 1 to week 37 (pls, if you are like me, reduce ur cold water intake cos it almost affected my baby).
I started feeling baby kicks at week 18. In week 34 my Dr told me baby was kicking me too much cos he was distressed. The fibroid has grown and there is no space for him to move around. He was lying in Oblique position from week 18 till week 37 that I birthed him. I was scheduled for CS and i welcomed my prince at exactly 37weeks weighing 3.2kg. I love you all mama's in this wonderful group. To all those who lost their Lo's at birth, Jah will surprise you all soon. The GTC mama's will hear from God soon. He'll surprise you all. May Jah continue to keep us and our LO's alive.
See you all in 2021-2022, Rbae signing out.
Team April-December I'm awaiting your BA. |

tabithaola: Awwww!!! Sorry darling for the discomfort. Allow bros suck please. Essence wasn't even sucking for long when I put to birth but the little time was hell because of sore nipples and engorged breast.it was so painful that I was always calling my consultant and had to go to the hospital on a Saturday. The doctors and nurses on duty just pet me and asked me to go breastfeed baby as that was the only solution,so you can imagine what I went through. The story is different today,so its a question of time, the pain will soon subside as bros sucks. This may sound weird but please don't deny my baby enough sucking biko. All the best dearie. Thanks so much mama. The pain has subsided now. Thank you |

That way you would encounter only minimal pain and it would subside soon. Thanks so much mama. He was sucking d nipple only, I'll adjust. Thanks. |
