Go to the chat box in the top part of that box with the name of the guy that is supposed to pay you. Write a message to him telling him to pay immediately or you will report him for uploading fake proof. This is to ensure that the system has evidence that 1. He uploaded fake proof 2. You drew his attention to the fact that he hadn't paid.
Next, you go to your bank tomorrow and get stamped and signed statement of account. Keep it with you. After 48hrs if he hasn't paid, upload it to that same chat box but this time address your complaint to CRO.
I had this problem before, the idiot uploaded fake pop but I reported him and showed my bank statement to CRO to prove he hasn't paid and he was blocked at once.

loosecanon50: Melanite,
You are likely placed under moratorium. It is a security measure imposed upon participants who befall the rules of MMM.
-Have u changed or edited your banking info recently? -Have you used your bank account in two MMM accounts, even as an act of goodwill to a friend of yours/family member already on MMM? -Hav you changed your password recently without writing to support?
All the above questions or a host of others may have been responsible for being placed on moratorium. Please be patient let Support reply you. It usually takes 48hrs, so u should likely be checking now. Do not worry I have faced it, its not a new thing. If u had defaulted on any of these rules, the system easily puts u on a watch list for hacked accts. Because it is supposed that you already knw ur details so why editing? Except if you had ben hacked and someone is trying to corner your money.
Google the "golden rules of MMM" and see clearly all i have told you. Hi. Please I opened an account without a referral link.. Then later logged in and added my sisters email.. She said she PH 50k max.. I PH 20k 2 times.. That's 40k.. I intend to leave it for some months.. Question 1; is it allowed to leave the pH like that for months.? Question 2: after 3 months the Mavro should be like 80k ; will I be allowed to gh more than the 50k max of my relation/referrer? Lastly, in the case of all these being problematic.. Can I remove my sis as my referrer or simply keep PH N gh less than 50k? Thanks a lot in advance |

Olawoye4359: There are indications that EFCC may not be able to go after MMM promoters as they see them as people going about their own personal and private business which is not illegal. According to report from a source in EFCC, MMM is not an unlawful business as such we cannot go after the promoters of MMM. Our questions to the National Assembly is ” What are we going to charge the promoters of MMM for? What law have they violated? What money has the system stolen?. All these and many more are questions that we need to consider before taking any actions. MMM does not have any office in the country where we can go and ask for details about their activities. So our hands are tight Gbagam! Case dismissed! House members oya put 10 million each into MMM and get 13 million before Xmas! |

Properties › Re: How To Protect Yourself When Buying A House In Nigeria. by RealityShot: 10:07am On Jul 11, 2016 |
PearlStreet: While most Nigerians wish to buy houses or apartments in Nigeria, it is unfortunate that they do not know the things they can do to protect themselves and their investments from fraudulent sellers as there is inadequate information on this. The glossy fliers and captivating advertising make a lot of buyers susceptible to the antics of these property sellers. They forget that the seller is only after their money and that very pleasant and persuasive real estate agent is after his commission.
Here are a few points every buyer must consider before paying for that house in Nigeria.
Get a property lawyer to conduct due-diligence and guide you on the transaction. This is important as your property lawyer acts as an interface between you and the seller. He ensures you are not shortchanged or your rights as a buyer infringed on. Also, he interprets legal documents and points out clauses in these documents which may be unfavorable to you.
Request for all title documents over the land the building is on. Another step is for the seller of such property to provide copies of title documents over the land the building is built on. The type of title document possesed by the seller determines whether he has the legal right to sell or not. Also, it determines the quality of title the buyer gets from the seller.Furthermore, the title possessed by the seller determines the type of documents to be signed by both parties.
Get your land surveyor to obtain the coordinates of the land and chart it. It is very important for the buyer to contact his land surveyor to pick the beacon numbers of the land to determine if it falls under government acquisition or not. Also, the surveyor measures the size of the land to determine if the size is up to the advertised size.
Investigate the title of the land. After obtaining copies or information of title documents held by the seller of the property, the next step is to investigate if the title exists or not and if there are any encumbrances on the title. The title investigation can take place in Lands Bureau of the State where the property is located, the Federal lands Registry or relevant government agencies. However, if the seller doesn't have government title over the property, your lawyers can contact the original owners of the land to confirm if they indeed sold to the seller who in turn wants to sell to you.
Have your property lawyer read through the Conveyance documents to point out unfavorable clauses. This point is very important and most of the cases of real estate litigation stem from failure of the buyers to get expert legal counsel when buying. In fact, a lot of buyers of property in Nigeria have been sold leases instead of total assignments and the danger of this is that very soon, the property would revert back to the sellers while the buyers would be left high and dry without money or property. Ideally, the buyer's lawyer drafts the documents to be executed between both parties but some estate developers insist that their lawyers draft the documents. In cases like this, the seller's lawyer must thoroughly inspect the documents to ensure that ridiculous and fraudulent covenants are not inserted.
Get a structural engineer to ascertain the building's quality and point out defects. Mere looking at an existing building, the seller may not be in a position to determine if it is structurally sound or not. However, a structural engineer would accurately inform the buyer of structural defects on the building. This is very important as it saves the buyer from disaster.
Demand for copies of the Approved Building plan, Architectural drawing and Survey plan. If there is a building on that land, then it must have an approved building plan. If it doesn't have it, you are buying a house that would be demolished someday. Also, the buyer must request for copies of the approved architectural plan as well as registered survey plan.
Request for evidence of payment of outstanding rates and taxes on the property. The seller must prove that he isn't owing the government or any of its agencies taxes, rates and fees of any kind. One way of ascertaining this is to ensure that the seller shows receipts, tellers, tax certificates or such other evidence of payment as applicable. If the buyer buys a property with outstanding taxes owed the government, such buyer would never be able to perfect his title documents with the government unit he has paid all outstanding sums that the seller owes.
Speak to other neighbours living in or around the property. From experience, some of the most helpful information comes from those who live on the building or around it as they possess information which the seller might have been withholding. Every buyer needs to speak to at least one person living near the property such buyer intends to buy.
All payments made should be duly documented and receipts issued. Payments for property should be made in such form that it is traceable to the seller. Cash transfers into accounts bearing the name of the seller or bank drafts in the seller's name are advised. This is because it makes it very difficult for the seller to deny receipt of payment when official bank documents of payment are in his name. Archived |

Jealousy, of your ever been to Lagos you'll understand the gulf that exist between the poor and the rich and poor, using your excuse every man from Ajegunle, Makoko and Bariga should be a thief and involved in dodgy activities. Comparative poverty is not a good enough excuse for crime.
Please stop perpetuating thisfalsehood, in the last 16 years of PDP every part if Nigeria has had enough representation band some have had more than can be called equal. Notably NC and SE .APC has won FG election after many years of fighting for it, Buhari has people he trusts who have come up and worked hard with him he has chosen to reward this gentlemen in his capacity as president , he has fulfilled his constitutional obligation to have 36 ministers from across Nigeria.
I do no begrudge his choice , as I don't expect him to sacrifice his allies and trusted confidants to satisfy the people who didn't wnat him to win to start with
Im sure the people who equipped those youths with dangerous weapons are also the politicians and leaders from that same society, they are therefore to blame, You can not heap the guilt of the actions taken by individuals in your community on others outside it. There is no oil or raw materials being mined by the rich in lagos is there? The "poor" people you speak of, are there having the gold in the lands mined without getting a fair share of the bounty? About the BUHARI part.. . Out of point! Yes.. The politicians I spoke about, who armed the youths, Are from the region... But isn't it the federal government that will make laws upon which they can be stopped? Stop writing like the president can't change anything he wants and Fix the problem of wasting resources used to build the sea port. We are talking about billions of naira invested at onne sea port Which isn't yelling any nationally recognized benefits. Stay on point sir. |

Unemployment is not a good enough reason to be involved in violent crime Hmm.. No.. I didn't say just unemployment. There is the unprecedented flaunting of affluence by oil workers That is breeding jealousy in unoccupied minds. There is the constant rejection at National appointments (don't want to name any specific body - u know y) There is the most important of all.. . POLITICAL ARMARMENT .... After elections.. Youths that have worked for "them politicians" Who were armed, don't get disarmed. Soon they find other uses for such arms. And there are loads of low hanging fruits in ss/se. soulpeppersoup: Bros you don't understand the eastern market. More than 50% of goods used in the east are produced in the east unlike in Lagos where more that 90% are imported.
Anything you import today in Aba or ontisha that moves market. Umuoma will do the copy for you. There is no market for export in the east.
Don't think the goods imported on Lagos are used in Lagos alone. Many see Lagos a business conference zone where they can come from anywhere to go and buy. East don't have such market as yet.
If we must develop our market, we must focus more on what we know how to do best - manufacturing. Hmm.. Manufacturing with what? You still need some imports to manufacture. Being airplanes sources parts from all across the world to make 1 plain. And that remains so for all manufacturers. ...... . Hmm.. And all these big cars that cause hold up in Port Harcourt, OWERRI, onitsha, etc are made here bah? All the motorcycles and tricycles too? All the electronics too bah? Carpets, etc too bah? |

@ realityshot, you guys should clear your heads of this mentality that hausa /fulani and yorubas are your problems and therefore your enemies. Your region is not the only one sidelined in Nigeria. Infact, all regions and the masses are the ones that have been sidelined.
I can relate with the security reason highlighted above. let me tell you a personal experience. My company would have loved to commence ferry business that would run through the whole of SS but for the militancy, kidnapping and pirate activities there, they moved the business to Benin and Ghana which will commence in the second quarter of this year.
@chiefobdk, if I hear say kidnapping no dey SS again. Also Read the paragraph above
Are you to blame? is the SS region to blame? is my company to blame. The answer is NO. It's just unfortunate the way things have turned out in Nigeria
May God heal Nigeria At what point in my post was ethnic differences implied or "sideline" It's a matter of efficiency... If the youths cause problems because of unemployment.. Government should create jobs with out much PROPAGANDA. TBH.. I only liked your post because you added God.. But seriously.. Wait do you think onne port is not in use or you can't use it if you want to as an importer That's because it is not fully functional.. Now how will you like to rigmarole from onne port to other west African country. This is business not sentiment, if you make a small mistake you may be out of business forever. So it's better for the government to allow them to berth at lagos and increase the cost of living in the country by charging us demurrage daily, weekly even for months? Some still clear their goods through onne port but most of them that do that import machines to set up factories and not consumables. Dangote use onne port to move his cement to the east. Do you know that to move a container from lagos to PH Costs not less than 100k? Importers don't move the containers.. The empty them and use 911 trucks which are cheaper.
