Shame on our leaders, Shame on the northern elites. What have they done alleviate the sufferings, hunger and insecurity chasing these people from their ancestral home down to abuja? The level of suffering in the North is unimaginable. Most of these people are farmers but they are being force out of their villages by bandits and terrorists. This country is hopeless. God punish all nigeria leaders and so called elites. |
Abdulazeez Atta Memorial College Okene (AAAMCO) 1933, The Lion of the North is missing in the list |
If you think there is hope for this country, you are obviously not being realistic. The political elites will only take care of themselves, their family and closed associates. Nigeria has no future. Just hustle hard and pray to God to send your destiny helper ur way so that you can take care of urself, ur family and help the needy to the best of ur ability. Chai, in this same country where people you promised to provide for their welfare, are currently hungry, suffering with no end in sight but you claimed to use #21billion to renovate and complete the vp residence? What about the vp current residence? Is something wrong with it? Will this new residence cure him of incompetence? Okay, it will suddenly transform him into a super performer that will take this country to the promise land, right? How a project funded with tax payers money becomes a private one sef? What are the crime of the poor people in this country? Why is nobody speaking up for God's sake? Today a mudu of beans is now #3k, a milk tin of garri is #200? Alot of folks are even jobless. How are we going to survive like this? Chai. |
Don't mind those mofos spewing saliva all over media space over election done and dusted. Governor Ododo 8yrs mandate is non-negotiable. Its a waste of time and energy trying to make them see ur point. adeiza4u: |
Atleast he didn't try to paint a picture of being a self righteous prick. He told us the summary of he started. But no be today nigerian started being fraudulent. You can't make decent money in this country without breaking the law. |

I was dealing on bamboo trees for building projects in abuja. What i do is to go to the villages where matured bamboo abound, then buy them from the land/farm owners. Then i will hire the locals to do the cutting and dressings, engage others to do the haul out from the bush to the nearest road where trucks can come to convey them to abuja. Here is where the trouble start. There are alot of these matured bamboo in tivs land that even the farmers or land owners wants you to come and cut them because aside using few ones to roof their huts, its of lesser or no value to them. I was warned by experienced people in the business never to go to tiv land to do business but when i saw the matured and very straight bamboo that sre aboud in tiv land, i was tempted. I didn't realize the reason they have them like forest was because people hardly come to do business with them because of their wickedness. I did alot of successful trips to idoma side of benue because idomas aren't overly greedy like the tivs. Once you pay the owner and you have an agreement with the cutters and hawlers, they will do ur work for you but just make sure you give the community and the youths association their rightful stipend and you are good to go. Even after succesfully reaching your targeted figures because you need a minimum of 2,500 pieces of bamboo to makes a truck, getting a trailer to go load the stuff is much easier because drivers/truck owners have nothing to fear going to idoma land. When the truck arrive, usually you neec experienced loaders like 2 guys who know how to arrange it very well to ensure the truck load the required numbers, failure to do that mean loss because bamboos are quite difficult to arrange well and since agreement about charter fee for the truck which can be up to a million naira has been agreed, it behoves on you to ensure it loaded the required number atleast short of endangering the safety of the truck. You will still need to hire some locals like 4/6 guys to help with the loading by lifting the bamboos for the experienced 2 loader who stay up the truck and be arranging. Most often you negotiate with the 2 team differently. In idoma land I hardly have issue with them throughout the entire process because areas of disagreement can be easily ironed out in a fairly and reasonable manner without any threat of violence. Thats that for the idomas but go to tiv land and you will see hell. You will over pay for everything because they are always threatening you with violence majorly because you don't speak their language and they also feel you came with bags full of money to come and extract diamond from their land. First of all, they dont respect agreement. Beginning from the land/bamboo owners, some cutters can even take ur money and dissappear without doing the job. To cut the story short, when you have finally done with cutting, hawling out after losing so much money by paying over the top which makes the business largely unprofitable anymore, getting a trailer to go tiv land is harder than camel going through the eye of a needle. Most truck dont go there for load because their demands are too much and unreasonable. Once you finally get a truck which you pay over the top, then as soon as the truck arrive, the whole place turn a market place where different groups came with the purpose of extorting you. Even the local govt council revenue agents aren't exempted. You go pay money taya. then there come the most unreasonable demand I've ever seen. I was caution not to engage any so called experienced loaders from outside the community. When they later allowed me, it doesnt affect their loading charges. Once they name theur price for loading, its unnegotiable. Once you negotiate it will bring problem. One even told me to just give just pay them what they demanded while i go look for other people to come and load the goods any move to call their bluff, they will threaten to keep ur truck here even if its up to a year till i acede to their request. I was the one that went to makurdi to hire the truck myself but the local truck charters still demanded for charter fee and i was compelled to pay. I begged like ive never done in my life. At a point i started shedding tears out of frustration but they no send my papa. The more you beg in the name of God, the more their mind got hardened. after all the suffering i ended up losing chunk of my business capital which was largely borrowed. I vow never to go to that land for business. Just a quick one, before i ventured into biz, i was a manager of water factory. Guess who set me up for sack? It was 2 tivs guys i employed as one of the distribution drivers and conductor. My crime?, i wouldnt let them steal much. Most tivs are something else. There are still good ones among them though. quote author=YoshihideSuga post=130029649] Interesting expose. I'm curious, which local government areas do the various ethnic groups occupy? What about doing normal trading, rather than citing a physical business there? After all, Chinese and Indians trade with them.[/quote] |
There is something annoying about Arteta. He doesn't have that iron steel mentality. Fumbling when the expectation is high. Look at the way we mess up against bayern in champions league. Bayern that was so down even the likes of bochum and other lowly teams were beating them. They got to arsenal and we gave them the belief again because we shiver afterall its bayern. How can we win league when were losinh to Aston villa at home? See what olympiacos from a lowly Greek league did to the same Aston villa? Arteta doesn't have that wow level. Our mentality as a club is very poor. He is under to win epl next season now. Anything short of that, wahala go dey. Even some important players go find their way. |
Aside security issue. No matter the investment opportunities in Benue, no right thinking entrepreneurs will invest in that state if he/she carry out due diligence. If you go there with your money, you will surely shed premium tears. No business can flourish in the midst of criminal elements. The people of benue especially the tivs are some of the most heartless and criminally minded people I've ever come across. Tufiakwa. Idomas are fair but you see tivs and to lesser level the igede, chai they carry my eyes see shege. How can you be begging people in the name of God that you are losing money because of their wicked demands and that pleading hardened their heart more. Tivs leaders need to work on their peoples mentality. But the old and the youths are the same. Always scheming to betray or defraud you. I'm speaking from experience I had in asukunya in tarka LG and Oju. |
All parties involved in this sham proposal know whatsup. No one is being deceived anymore. |
Jos carry that track for head like state anthem that year. Year 2007/2008 if I'm not mistaken. One of my neighbours at katako junction made me hate the track. Before going to bed, my baby must play, at the dawn of a new day, my baby must be blasting from his speakers and to make matter worse, his room was directly opposite ours. Over joy when he finally packed out. brain54: |
I guess they mean't igala youth. |
Its obvious you have problem with the North cuz I don't believe this is what a sensible fellow supposed to comment on a thread like this. To everyman his own though. ArewaNightmare: |
Which nonsense culture or tradition? is it islamic or hausa/fulanis? I hardly pay attention to mundane issues like this but rubbish ain't traditions in the North where I am proudly from. Even in Islam, its wrong to bow for anybody expect Allah subhana wataalla. You cant be the first to stretch a hand for an elder in greeting but if they do, you gracefully accept it with both hands. You can even accept ur father's handshake. It's highly awkward and embarrassing to leave an elder hands hanging under the guise of according stupid respect. |
For this hardship facing Nigerians, na you still get rest of mind to dey write epistle for matter wey no go put kobo for ur pocket? Na wa o immortalcrown: |
Don't be swayed by the 3D design, if you know makurdi well you will realise this is shouldn't be a priority project. Makurdi is not a mega city with traffic problem especially around this roundabout, if this is not a dick measuring disguised as legacy project. Why this resources gulping project by a state with that solely depend on federal allocation for survival with high level of poverty but vast potential in agricultural sector that can be properly harness to better the life of average benue people? Besides the project is about to disrupt economic activity, the ricemill that will further impoverish people whose sustenance depend on it.. |
Since my inlaw decided to tempt me, I will gladly fall but on the hand I might ask them to package it so that I will take it home bcus I'm currently fasting. |
Emeka offor shouldn't be trusted, know this and know peace. I read a piece where he did everything possible to frustrate Geometric seeing the light of the day. Why the sudden decision to complement in supplying the rest of the local govts in Abia? He doesn't want Geometric future expansion? I smell desperation. |
This is a sponsored post. see how they Paid agents are all praising glo. U guys think we al stupid. Smh |
This myopic idiot with the toga of so called pastor will never allow us to rest on matter concerning Israel. Well, as you already know, you don't matter. So shove ur murderous and bloodsucking campaign up ur assad shut the fuckup. Righteousness2: |
Condolences to the wigwes. May God Almighty forgive them their shortcoming and grant the departed souls eternal rest. Isiokpo are nice people. I had my secondary education in gss obodo, isiokpo. |
How has the mighty fallen? Obj advising nigeria to learn from Zimbabwe? Is she even doing well economically? Only one state economy in Nigeria is better than the whole of Zimbabwes economy. My problem with this sanctimonious and self righteous old man called obj is that he has never admitted he is the architect of our present bastardized democracy. He is the one that planted the seed of corruption in our judiciary and national assembly when he started distributing ghana must go to them for his selfish interest. What about the malpractice and violence in our electoral system? Who started it? Under whose leadership the politicians started becoming overly desperate to do an undo just to win elections. Who announced publicly that a forthcoming election will be do or die affair? Who single handedly took some unpopular and undemocratic decisions without following the dictate of the constitution while he held sway as the president? Who single handedly gave out part of this country bakassi just to please the western power without approval from the national assembly and the indigenous people of the area? Who wasted $16billion of our hard earned foreign exchange on the power sector without tangible result to show? Till today, baba has never admitted he made desperate attempt to achieve a term agenda? A sitting President building a presidential library, forced close associates and public office holders to donate handsomely but claimed it as personal project. A sitting president under whose nose his VP built a private University while the public ones are under lock n key cuz of strike. I can go on and on but let me stop here for the time being. No matter the challenges confronting us, Obj isn't the right elder statesman to be dishing unsolicited and unreasonable advices to Nigeria. He need to come clean, tender public apology and seek forgiveness from Nigerians for laying foundations for all the wrongs with our nascent democracy. He has a golden opportunity in 1999 to chart a new direction for this nation, what did he do with it? |
They are very wicked in that state especially the Tivs. I've never seen people as wicked hostile and fraudulent towards strangers who come who come to their place to carry out a legitimate business transaction like the tivs. The idomas are sonehow fair and friendly to strangers. If you go to tiv land as business petson, you will surely loose your money. Despite the agricultural potential of the state, you hardly see any worthwhile investment from outsiders. They will run you down with their greed. They really delt with me no be small. crossfm: |
Cut the crap buddy. Its not well and you know it. I'm not the type that badmouth the only country i call my own but with this letter, even the most optimistic fellow like me will have to rethink where the country is currently headed. We've never had it this bad. Imagine no country give a damn about us anymore. And the irony of it all is that our policy makers have refused to wake up. Patriotictee: |
