Properties / Re: Renting An Apartment: Electricity Or Water, Which Is More Important? by redsquare(m): 3:46pm On May 03, 2015
Water. I can't imagine staying in a house where I have to fetch water from a well in this 21st century! Without water, the whole apartment would be oozing with odour. The kitchen would be messed up. For light, at least once in a while NEPA will remember your area and you can also run your generator if need be. My opinion anyway.

Family / Re: Where Should You Build Your First House (city Or Village)? by redsquare(m): 7:22am On Apr 05, 2015
It depends on the kind of "village" one comes from. Mine is a well developed town in Anambra, non indigenes have bought up the whole place and erected mansions. I will be completing my village house soon by the grace of God, only then will I consider building one in PH where I stay. For those saying houses in the village do not appreciate, that's a lie. My cousin bought a plot of land in the village for 500k about 3 years ago, now that same area sells for over 3m.

CHM11:

U started your comments on this thread as a really exposed person and I judged you thinking 'yeah he is based in the US so he should be well exposed and reason with a high IQ'...but the real 'igbo man' in you is just coming out now....dude, I aint obsessed about igbos, infact after NYSC I avoid igbo peeps based in the east except they give me reasons to see that they are not not what I assume. I don't have any issue with igbo tribe, I don't even notice them..left to me I would want them to be allowed to leave Nigeria and go form their Biafra but they should leave the Niger delta out of it...if Biafra was only imo, abia, anambra, enugu, and ebonyi states, I'm sure the gowon government wouldn't have bothered (but it was all about the oil)....
I'm only commenting on this thread because its a sunday, knowing fully well that I've got nothing new to learn from talking about tribal differences.......

Mumu, you started avoiding Igbos after your NYSC? As if an average Igbo person gives a rat ass what you think about him/her. Nonentity like you seeking online attention. Ogogoro drinking iiidiot.

Oh so sorry we are not in the court of law and I am entitled to keep my experiences locked up or exposed, which in this instance I choose the latter. Hope you will respect that?
You yourself said tribalism, racism and religion is a thing that is a global issue. So why is my being tribalistic an issue?
So its now ok that an igbo can be tribalistic and choosy but another tribe cannot be tribalistic...

I've never said tribalism is bad, neither did I condemn the igbos for marrying amongst themselves more (I said its better for them, because they tend to have more favourable homes when they marry from their tribe because other tribes find it hard to understand them except the really exposed ones).

Igbos marry your beautiful adamma's and give birth to many beautiful kids that will marry igbos..it favours you more!!!!!!......

As for me and my house, if you are not from Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwaibom, Cross rivers..... It will take the love of God before I even develop feelings for you.... This is me...don't hate my orientation, respect my choice because there is a reason for it....

Mister, the more you talk, the more stoopid you sound. Just STFU for once if you've got nothing meaningful to contribute. Igbos tend to marry fellow Igbos, and you've been here bleating since morning, from your above post, one can easily deduce that you are from South South, and you don't see anything wrong in marrying a fellow South southerner. Hypocrite.

This list is soooo true especially number one.

This list just made me remember my experience when I was still serving. The house I rented, there was this girl there. She was just out of SS3 and was seeking admission into the university. She came to live with one of the tenants while processing her admission. The first thing I noticed about the girl was her bountiful chest. Those things were huge and bouncy. She was really 'buxomly' blessed. lipsrsealed
At first I thought she was just being friendly with me like all the other tenants as people usually like corpers. Anytime I came back from court the girl would run up to me, take my bag and hug me with those things. However I began having second thoughts when I noticed a pattern. Anytime I decided to wash my clothes at the well, that is when the girl will know that she wants to fetch water. She would then change into a wrapper to be fetching water while I was washing. To start with, when fetching the water the fetching motion would make the wrapper slip and she would now be using her hand to adjust them things while giving me a good view. Choi!
secondly while fetching d water, some would pour on the wrapper making the thing to stick to the ......... To make matters worse she would now call me to come and help her lift the pail of water on her head for her to carry it inside d house. When she bends down for us to lift the pail together I will now be looking directly at those huge things very near my face with nothing but a flimsy wet wrapper covering them. Choi.
I almost made a move until I learnt that she was just 17yrs. I used to come across child defilement cases everyday and was even handling some myself so it was definitely a no-no for me. Besides there were many willing fellow corpers for me to contemplate messing with an underage in the same house.
The day I did my POP the girl really surprised me though.

Bia, this guy come and complete your story jor. Which kain suspense be this? Just when I was about enjoying your story, you just truncated it. Better finished what you started OR....... angry

Why is Buhari not talking much during campaigns? Is it because of:
1. Not knowing what to say?
2. Not interesting in saying anything?
3. Knowing what to say but not knowing how to say it?
4. Just fulfilling an appearance but disinterested in the entire campaign process?

How can this man of very few words represent Nigeria abroad? Or would Osinbajo be the one attending to all foreign matters, including those that are exclusively presidential?

OP, the answer to your question is ''All of the above''
GEJ till Buhari start talking at campaigns.

At last, somebody is thinking. I've said it severally, Nigeria will not turn to El Dorado overnight whether PDP continues or APC takes over. Where do they want to get the money from and how do they intend to deliver on their bogus promises? It's very unfortunate that most Nigerians are easily swindled by the same people always.

Business / Re: How Bank Insiders Help Fraudsters Steal Billions by redsquare(m): 10:55am On Jan 24, 2015
o42austino:
I remembered one day like that my guy a car dealer called me and told me that some Clone his ATM card and is making use of it before he noticed and that person has made away with #4.2m naira of his money.

He noticed when he went to ATM to make a 50k withdrawal which after he checked his account balance and his eyes cant believe what his seeing. he then called his account officer and he blocked d account,he was invited to his bank and was told by his bank manager that someone from d bank may hv cloned his ATM and the paid back d missing moni and since then my guy no dey us ATM again.

Super Story. Guy abeg yarn another thing. For you to withdraw 4.2m from an account via the ATM will take you at least 28 days going by the 150,000 maximum daily withdrawal limit. So this fraud took place for almost 1 month without your guy knowing? And again, a bank cannot just refund you 4.2m like that as a result of fraudulent withdrawal from your account. Who knows whether your guy connived with the fraudster. We've had cases of bank customers defrauding their own account and later come back to the bank to complain. I've experienced it severally. So ask your guy to tell you the truth.
