Since getting a date for legalization is really hard, can one authenticate here in nigeria and then when one gets to poland, travel by train to polish embassy in Germany and legalize. Is it possible this way?

Some people are sending their documents back to Nigeria for legalization. E get why.

If you had taken time to go through this thread, you won't say you are waiting until the 20th of August to book the legalization date.

Legalization booking opens every Friday at any moment between 8 am to 12 pm.
The next window is this coming Friday, the 6th of August.

Yes, you can go through any other member state even if Germany was stated earlier on.

Its not difficult to craft out.

Address the letter to the embassy.

State the purpose of the letter on the subject.
E.g "Letter of Authorisation".

On the body of the letter, introduce yourself.
State that you have authorised Mr/Ms. XYZ to act on your behalf to legalise your XYZ documents at the Polish embassy.

Write your name and sign.

Nothing fancy or technical.

The truth is, they can not attend to everybody and they cannot issue visas to everybody.
They do what is more convenient for them.

Yes, they can all be done via proxy.
For legalization, you must issue a letter of authorization; Authorizing the person to act on your behalf.

how long did it take to get a response from wsb. It's over two weeks I applied. No response yet. Tried to call, they were not picking. Not replying mail either

It took me 15 days to complete the application and get admission.
I emailed them several times. It slowed me down because it took a few days to get a response.
They were helpful.

i. You don't have to share surnames with sponsors.
ii. Embassy has no concern over tribe or ethnicity.

They are not working at full capacity until the 2nd of August.
Appointments for this week has been rescheduled.

It is apparently understandable why they would open the line for just a short period today, so they can meet up with existing schedules.

You have been asking this question repeatedly since April and nobody is answering you.

If you had used the time to take the leap you would have gotten admission a long time ago.

October is fast approaching and you really have to be decisive.

At this time, you will most likely get an offer easily in a private school as compared to a public school.

Use Google to your advantage.
Search "universities in poznan", "Universities in Wrocław", "Universities in Warsaw", "Universities in Opole", "Universties in Szczecin", "Universities in Bydgoszcz", "Universities in Lublin", "Universities in Rzeszów", "Universities in Gdańsk".

Go through the results.
Visit each school's website and go through their offered courses and tuition.

Make research about the city [Google].

Weigh your options and make your decision.

That is how most of us do it.

Lots of people have been posting where they got admission offers from. You should check that out too.

Personally, I got admission offers from Uni Opole, WSB Poznań and School of Business in Wrocław.
I went with WSB. I posted my progress on this thread.

I read every single post on this thread so as to learn from others. You should too.

Take it alongside the 1 year insurance.

If I understood you clearly;

You want to open a credit card account with 2.5M.
Then get a credit card certificate with the 2.5M stated.
Part of the money (2.5M) in the credit card will now be used to pay for the tuition after the certificate must have been issued.

My take is;
The lowest tuition in WUT is €1650.
With the need to pay tuition before visa application, that must have taken a huge chunk of the money in the supposed credit card.

The embassy will call your bank to confirm your credit card.
Warsaw is an expensive city.
Flight ticket is expensive.

Make of that what you will.

They always put "Lack of available dates to X".
Where X is the next two weeks from the last date.
However, it opens every Friday. Anything from 8am.

Polish embassy does not accept statement of account. The requirements are on the consulate's website.

Legalization is 30 euros per document, done at the embassy.

You must first authenticate the docs at Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

You need affidavit for Legalization.
Authentication does not require such.

Based on the info gathered on this thread, I learnt you can renew your passport in Abuja even if expiry is not less than 6 months.

NIS HQ Is at Sauka, Abuja.
Passport Office is at Gwagwalada, Abuja.
Passport Express Centre, Maitama, Abuja.

Be watchful. Don't get scammed.

Don't be desperate.
Watchout for scammers and fake accomodation contracts.

Na WA ooo, one year accomodations upfront in Poland should be over 1.5m

You don't have to pay all upfront.
Only pay deposit fee to get a contract.
