Offpointng:I know say some people like you will fall into shenanigan speech of the president that a trillion naira has been saved so far in the expense of the masses. People like you who don't reason beyond reality are the reason this country is still stagnated. Before you quote me; it is government responsibilities to make sure there is no leakage in the subsidy regime but they failed because their hands too are soiled. Government went the easy way which is removing subsidy instead of fighting the corruption in it and sanitize the whole system. In his speech, he never mentioned anything about revamping the refinery. US government subsidises energy, housing, food and even agriculture production, etc. France subsidises energy. Germany subsidises housing, transport, energy. China subsidises energy, transportation — and have gone to the extent of subsidising production. That's why production of goods are way cheaper in China and the reason the item produced in China is way cheaper than the one produce in your backyard. The truth is that, we don't know the mess we're in already. Even the government have assumed the status of ghost mode and have left the entire running of the sectors of the economy — education, market, transportation health and even the energy sector — in the hands of individuals who determines the market price. That's what you get when government ghost mode. Schools – private secondary to private universities, even the FG unity schools and government universities are hicking up prices like the gate of hell has open. Foodstuffs is beyond the reach of many in the market. What about transportation. Abuja city that's always bubbles, come and see how deserted it is. I still imagine how other cities will be. The truth is that there's no way the government will ghost mode things and abandon their responsibilities to market forces and you expect thing to be normal. I don't expect much different from this government, not that I'm a pessimist. His speech is a normal rythorics we've been having from the previous governments. Nothing new. If so, why did he wait to the eve of NLC protest date to address the nation since he the announcement of subsidy removal on his inauguration. |
I never see where a ministerial nominee is disqualified by the insensitive, h*pocritical Senate in Nigeria, not when the nominee is one of them. Nigeria being a country of un-serious people, such will not happen even if there's a need to have Elrufai disqualified. So, this is a dead case on arrival. |

And the coup has come to stay. ECOWAS and Tinubu ranting upanda. Nigeria that can't put his house in order and ECOWAS that can't organise themselves wants to go dictate to another on how to behave. They better respect themselves. The proxy war of the West ECOWAS is drawn to, the originator of the war is abandoning it for them to fight. GET SENSE!!! |
The Eldorado Niger where former president Buhari wants to go leave out his days if disturbed or called to account for his government 8 years. I wonder what he's gonna do cos I know he never envisage that the military will take over the country. Lesson: Do the right thing when you are privileged cos you never can tell what the next moment bring in a space with billions of players who's choices, actions and inactions changes the cause of affairs. |
Candidlady:Dey there! |
Odunharry:After confessing and believing, you begin to be thought of the scripture and you reading to know the truth. Cos if you wait for others to teach you, these charlatans will fill in the gap for you and teach you the wrong doctrine. |

Labor is on their own. You stop government from implementing policy when you know the policy will be a disaster. You begin to tackle this matter head front. It is easier to "PREVENT than to CURE." |
Ozommadu:Na their identity. They no get shame at all. See how UK government will swiftly handle the issue but here, the 30k monthly stipends (I don't know if the 30k still comes) APC e-worriors will begin to compare sh*t. |
This love matter eh! E get as e be. But the very moment we start understanding what love is and being a little bit rationale and not to emotional the better. |
It's in the nature of Nigerian women to deliberately frustrate their men whether knowingly or unknowingly. It's in their DNA, inbreeded in them. |
Democracy isn't for Nigeria. Not at all. We failed and will keep failing. The earlier we tell ourselves the truth, the better. |
