I am glad you chose your words carefully, as opposed to those that will rush to say "8 years in the senate and he has NOTHING to show for it"...; but let's leave that one aside for now, just know, or ask, (and I will let you know) that he has been representing the senatorial zone well and provided with dividends of democracy. On Ikpeazu, are you saying he did not perform well as head (DG) of ASEPA in Aba? Anyhoo, I don't expect you to feel the same way as I do because you are not from Abia state, so whether a performer is coming to transform the city or not, doesn't really concern you - it seems.... but I have high hopes for that city, given the things I have witnessed being set in place for the city to "take off"... from the ultra modern market 70% completeion for which forms are being sold at UBA now... to Geometric power plant targeted at the city for 24 hr power (this will only take backbiters to hold this project up, God forbid) and the roads being made accessible to and from the location... etc etc ... I am really happy for Umu Aba and TAO who chose not to be selfish and bring confusion or imposition etc to the state shows how much he's been wrongly labelled by the media, esp. of OUK's The Sun. I mean... even Abaribe stepped down, chose not to run, and decided to throw his hat behind the man that is getting ready for the task ahead. asha80: funny comment...getting pumped up for nothing...mapping out strategy indeed when common refuse disposal and clean up of aba was rocket science...i wonder what influence and effect abaribe's tenure in the senate so far has had on aba self |

If you dont count military schools as education then you can say buhari is not educated. Its like saying because i attended Aviation shool in zaria, i am uneducated. You have to understand that there is now way he could have gone to the military schools in india, Usa, england without necessary documents..... People know this is just mere propaganda by PDP...... Jonathans administration has been too terrible to make people hate buhari.... He is educated, Phd but has nothing significant to show for it.... its not by the qualifications, but the content of ones character, we yorubas understand this, people are not that gullible...... The certificate issue is hyped, supporters might be quiet while pdp think they are making grounds, but our minds are pretty much made up.....
The work of GEJs hands would have been a better campaign material.....[/q uote]
wait a minute... are you saying you are aware of GEJ's achievements? wow! the truth always has its way of coming out.
My thing is not whether Buhari is (well) educated or not, but rather that allowing the absence (the is NO record submitted) has created doubts whether he has one or not. no doubt he is a trained soldier, and I disagree your notion that he can't attend those trainings without having the right papers, being physically capable can be a factor to overlook his lack of a certificate; but this is speculation because he has not done the needful.
When you say SWners are keeping quiet, its because they are embarrassed - that this man they have been told to support has failed in handling this issue well. you call it propaganda, tell me, how can insisting that a provision of INEC's revised eligibility be met amount to propaganda? do (educated) people in the SW really think that?
--- To be eligible to run for CEO, you must submitdocument SXYZ. Contestant A realizes his opponent did not submit any original copy, but an affidavit, is keeping quiet on this = propaganda? (Check definition of propaganda). |

I am currently listening to Senator Enyinnaya Abariba being interviewed and I am getting so pomped up and happy for Aba, the great city that has been neglected even from the 90s when I recall see on NTA channel 6, how faulks road would be like a river and you see men with rolled up trousers trying to find their way... and now it seems that the city is about to re transformed... T.A. Orji whom everyone loves to hate for ignoring Aba as they say, could easily have zoned it elsewhere, but now he zoned it to Aba south and is supporting a man that knows the city, worked and labored the city and is already mapping out his strategy that so far as we've heard him say, will benefit the masses (instead of only the infrastructure) ... the sky will be the limit for the great city! So nobody is listening, especially when the silliy FFK is the one doing it. so you really think that people in Nigeria have not heard that Buhari's certificate is in doubt... Aba is in shambles.. Aba is the filthiest place one can find in Nigeria. Umahia is just another backward rural state capital with little or nothing happening there, and cannot be compared to a more modern place as Awka with ongoing flyovers, infrastructures, malls, 5 star facilities, booming hospitality industry etc
Aba has the worst roads one can find in Nigeria. The most unfriendly environment is found in Aba and Abia state as a whole. Have you been to recently to see the decay in your hellish state of Abia?
Go to youtube and see videos of aba. It is very horrible. I cannot wish my enemy Aba..
There is no basis for comparison because my state is by far more organized, developed with good roads in all parts of the state and not just the urban centers than your laid back and filthy state. Come to Anambra thread and see real development and advancement taking place in all parts of the state while your state is still in slums and ruins.
