Tensazangetsu20 I must acknowledge that you were a massive contribution to my 2021 on the Programming section of NL

Qtguru I must also acknowledge you as a major motivator to give back to youngsters coming through in tech. Hopefully we can take the Slack group to the next level this year.

I'm honoured by remi1444 and Sososo to be on your list. It's a pleasure to be mentioned by you both.

2021 started out as a horrible year. Lost my job just before Christmas 2020 and was out of job for 8 months. But recovery in August 2020 was so great that what I earn in 1 month is now equal to what I earned in 10months at my previous job. Patience is indeed a virtue. Patience, Persistence and Preparation
Thank you rabbi.

@easyblaze,

Your cover letter comes across as very superfluous and subservient. You need to work and it and focus on highlighting your work experience and the value you will be bringing. You talk of hard working and "purposeful problem solving skills". Where is the proof of that. You need to learn how to communicate these your skills with concrete evidence. What problem(s) hav you solved and how has your solution impacted the business whose problem you solved?
Boss you want an assistant. I can fill in that role if you are in need.

Your projects are horrible. I like the ideas behind them but the presentation is horrible. Movie site was copied From YouTube. Very horrible CSS. Mistakes on others. Overflows, insufficient paddings, horrible font colour combination sizes et al. Find a good template online and use that to remake your sites. This won't do well against the competition at all. Yinkakun.co is the portfolio of a new developer we recently hired. Go through that and see. He's also a junior developer too coding to less than a year.
This overflow issue. Does it mean the extra space that is seen when you drag or swipe the pages from left to right?

Bro you took the words right of my mouth
I might even know the guy
Cause na just Edo state lifestyle baba dey describe
I used to think that the Ibo men were emotionally weak( No this is not some tribalism post and should anyone perceive it as one, I'm sincerely sorry) until I met Bini and Esan men. Some of us acts like we wear lingerie under our clothes. Now while the men acts like sissies the women on the other hand capitalise on how emotionally weak we're and use it to their advantage. I've seen a man begging someone who's an Ex who if I'd have to grade them both without sentiment attached, I'd grade her 50% and for him this guy will get 75% from me. I'd graded her lesser if not for her little financial breakthrough. This man "begs" this low budget Eniola Badmus like he'd die. This grown baby in 2021 according to my acquittance has blocked her well over 6 times because she's not obliging his "reunion" talk. grin

UNPOPULAR OPINION: It's rare to find a submissive Edo woman. The chances are 2/10. That's why you'd find most of them telling you they have "crase".

I won't recommend you to learn CSS on freecodecamp. Download css the complete guide by Maximilian Schwartz and use that. You can do a html project or not. It doesn't matter. Html is very easy.
gbam. That man made me understand CSS x5 compared to when I used FCC. BUT video materials might not work for him. Make him try sha.

Pretense, You Like Them:

“If you dislike a man, do your best to hide it, for in ways you could not possibly foresee you may need his help, and you can hardly get it if he knows you dislike him. On many occasions I needed the help of a man who I despised, and he believing I liked him, or at least being unaware of the truth, served me readily.” -Francesco Guicciardini

In order to charm people, you must maintain the pretense that you like them. Any dislike or disdain you have for them must be concealed.

This sounds obvious, yet many subordinates fail to do this when interacting with their superiors.

Lol. My brother, some people like trouble but don’t know how to make trouble.

[s]If that guy has good links and knowledge, he’d claim the item belongs to an officer, that one will pick the seller and drop her off at a police station under strict instructions.

The soldier can even claim that he’s a friend of the guy and only wanted to broker peace but you assaulted him and he took you to his base as an enemy of the state.

If it’s just to rough handle, he won’t go with the soldiers, they’d come later. So even if it gets to court, he can claim they were just passing and decided to wade into the matter.

As terrible and cringy as it sounds - nothing will happen.

If soldiers killed Fela’s mother and till date, nothing. End-sars Lekki massacre and till-date nothing. Nothing will happen if the person has the right links. If you like call all the SANs in the country, nothing will happen. After God is Government.[/s]
Everything you just said is entirely false. It's all in your head. The funny thing is that while you are thinking of this sharp defences to "outsmart" the law you think the plantiff and his lawyers will be sleeping?

I pray you don't meet someone who's keen at getting redress. Just dey meet Nigerians like me wey dey leave matter for God hand.

Thanks for the offer, we appreciate!

Could you please help me with materials in JavaScript, I'm fluent in HTML and CSS.

My JS is shaky.

Thanks!

There's a Fundamental course by Zino Akpaorieva(sic). I got to know about him when Airsaylongcome mentioned him and honestly the man did justice to javascript in the Nigerian way. His fundamental course will solidify your knowledge plus his 100 days of javascript course where you build 100 different projects is okay too although I'm yet to commence the latter.

This is a worthy read. It's obvious that I'm the only one not earning yet from this tech thing. But again most people don't share their struggling stories. All we hear about is mostly their "winning" tales.
