I still use Java even as kotlin getting popular. I like kotlin but the syntax is somewhat funny just as it method name sounds: fun.

2 : a bit more flush needs to be added to your colors,

3 user experience still needs some tweaking but you will so good once you make the red color lighter

I want to delve into Android development but I'm still trying to decide between Java and Kotlin.

Kotlin is the newest kid in the block for android Dev, even Google has made it the official language for Android studio.

Kotlin is easier to pick and learn compared to Java. It reduces a lot of boilerplate codes you find while coding in Java.

I would use android for this app.

Now it depends on the client if the backend would be on android on PC.

I'd create a client app that sends the images every Milliseconds to the backend via socket or websocket. This is inefficient. I could also capture the video every 10 secs and send it.

I can't explain the technicalities involved here, but It shouldn't be hard to develop.

Since it's over the air, you need to consider the Data involved when transmission is done steadily.

I use Java Bro. i know kivy is a framework built on python, it's even on my system. I haven't played with it yet. Haven't gotten the time to.

cycle : is similar to commit app but tracks only on activity or habit in a month , its basically a habit tracker

Well, A Webview app is just a website wrapped in a webview "VIEW" it doesn't necessarily make it an app. If you're talking about Hybrid apps, that's a different thing entirely.

I'd suggest you read more about android OS then come back for more matured talks Bro.
