I am surprised you got such response from KCC, I informed them of my wife’s pregnancy with her picture and the baby diagnostics scan which shows XX on the sex and they replied me after three days that it is noted that they will put it in my case file. And I told them that she is expecting by March, and on Saturday 16th March by 12midnight my wife put to bed a baby girl which confirms with the scan result and the birth prediction. I’m only waiting for the eight days naming ceremony so I can inform them with her passport and form ds230.
Check well may be there is something you are not doing correctly, check how your words are crafted so you don’t implicate yourself. Cheers

I believe the problem is from the way he crafted the statement against his 3years old baby. I know by the grace of God he will not have any problem. He should just relax about it, God is in control.

I got to the american embassy around 6am and we all waited outside before a man came outside to arrange us..immigrants and non immigrants.I immediately joined the immigrant line..and we submit d appointment letter..after that we went thru all d security checks and finally got inside the building at exactly 7am..I headed to pay window20 where d cashier was..after payin 54500 I was called to submit my docs and I went back to my sit and we where all waiting for the CO's to show up..during dis time I doscovered the black angel was at the non immigrants section same with the lady in window16...a white guy showed up in window14 and he started interviewing..due to all his interview I prayed to be interviewed by him then on the second thots I jus told God dat any CO that call my number(B410) must grant my visa..after like 30 mins another guy showed up in window 15 and started interviewing selectees too..after about 2hrs of waiting I saw d guy on window 15 with my docs and he was goin thru it and nodding his head den after about 5mins my number beeped on his window...I panicked a little cos d guy denied a couple and another young man..I braced myself and went up to his window and d interview started

For my own interpretation, I don't think you have any issue about this case, what I am thinking is that KCC thought you wanted to add your 3years old son into the system which might lead to disqualification. Since his name is already in the form, you have no problem. About the pregnancy, I am also in the same shoe like your but I seeked Gentiger advice, he said I should hold on first and I reason to that. It stated in their form that you can only update the form when your marrital status has been changed or have additional baby to your family. Let just wait and keep praying to God. I know you don't have any problem regards that your issue provided you applied as a married applicant and already registered your 3yrs old baby into the forms.

To those who are preparing for the interview this month, by the grace of God the visa is your in Jesus name while those of us waiting for 2NL, God will favour us in all our endeavour.

nero xp: For those waitn for their 2NL,jst hav patient nd it wil land lyk ours landed.if u're current for April,as in u became current dis month,pls expect ur 2NL next month,because doz dat became current last month,most of dem re yet to receive their 2NL which wil land dis feb.so u guys dat jst became current on dis new bulletin shuld be expectin ur 2NL next month,dats hw it was in my own case wen I became current on DEC,received 2NL on JAN,nd interview scheduled on march...

It might not be like that of December, because only Nigerian that was delayed for 2NL then, but in this case non of the countries were not yet issued with 2NL or did you see or hear anybody from other countries with 2NL? If NO, that meaning they may still get 2NL before end of this month.

Lesson: Do not waste your precious time tracking anything. My passport was ready for pick up since Thursday and the tracking Status kept saying not ready for pick up. Now I can book my flight. I love you all.

Gentiger: For anyone going for interview anytime soon, please read this and follow suit. I witnessed about 6 DV visa denials yesterday. The black Angel denied 2 different DV applicants and the white Angel denied as twice as much. I listened to the line of questioning to discover what they seek to establish before they approve DV lottery win.

Some other countries don't get the kind of academic scrutiny we get for the following reasons:

1. They are academically sound and their schools are ranked high globally.
2. Academic fraud is impossible in these countries unlike our beloved country where even a serving senator or governor is using 'Toronto' certificate. You get what I mean.

DV lottery is meant for two reasons:

1. Cultural and ethnic diversity in the US.
2. Injection of best brains to boost economic growth in the US.

The reason for the academic drilling is to ensure the person coming into the US will be economically relevant and viable. They need innovation and productivity not liabilities or lay about. Before your number is called by the CO for interview, I observed some staff behind the counters crutinizing each file. They make recommendations and draw up possible questions to ask which is placed inside your file for the CO. The CO is merely asking predetermined questions drawn up by experienced minds. They know what answers they seek. You must perform credibly well to merit a visa.

Now when you appear before the CO, they want to see how well and confidently you can express yourself. If you cannot sell Your self credibly well, you can't sell the American ideals. If you can't exhibit matured reasoming, you would be considered a liability.

The few DV selectees who were denied yesterday could not make confident statements without annoying grammatical blunders. Most don't answer the questions asked. They choose answers which are unrelated to the questions posed. Please avoid this. Some contradict what they filled in the form. I saw a lady denied because the CO accused her of lying on oath. Another was denied because he couldn't list atleast 3 topics in mathematics. Another couldn't defend his O'levels. Please tell me of what benefit these categories of people would be to the US economy?

Now here is my advice, prepare well. Please prepare very well. Polish up your English a bit more. Read your best subjects. Now let me tell you something else I discovered. You are the one who determines the course they ask you questions from. I heard CO's ask each applicant their best course at school. I was asked. I told her contract law . I chose contract Law because I lectured junior students for free while I was a student. It was my favorite. If you wake me up by 2am, I can cite over 50 law cases on contract with their facts and decisions. This was why I could lecture the CO and her mouth was agape. I don't mean to boast, but I don't think anyone ever addressed that lady the way I did. She was speechless. I held her spellbound. You can do the same.

Choose your best subject. Begin to read. Please read hard. Pick up your dictionaries and learn new words. Dont allow the skin colour of a white person intimidate you. Don't allow her phonetics subdue your self confidence. Rise above the board. You can do it my brothers and sisters because I did it. Go and face the CO. Come back here and testify.

Lastly, I met a young guy who probably couldn't be above 25 yrs with a girl of probably 20 who he claims is his wife. They were denied. The CO didn't even look at their pictures. It was the black angel by the way that denied them. They know the average age Nigerians marry. They knew they were players.

If you married after your eDV application but before the results were released, you got no problems. If you married after the results were released, you got a big mountain to climb. Your chances are slim but not impossible. With God, nothing shall be impossible. Wearing uniform as a couple is not the key. Cuddling while waiting for your number to be called only shows your hidden guilt. Your best bet is to maintain your single status after you've won if you are still very young in age. That's my personal opinion. Your chances are so slim if you marry. Goodluck to all interview hopefuls. Goodluck my dearest friends on Nairaland. What and what steps to be taken.

1. Inform KCC and Copy Lagos if you are a Nigerian
2. You may need to fill form DSP 230 for the baby and the passport photo
3. Prepare the babies interpassport
4. Take the baby for medi but if KCC say all these are not required, then the baby will be registered at POE in the US. Hope this helps?

Thanks but I'm saying if this happened after visa has been approved or Issued. Are they going to issue seperate visa for the baby or call for another interview because of the baby. This is from Nigeria
