If you go to lefrancaisdesaffaires.fr and search for new format of TEF, on the page that it shows, right at the bottom, there is a link to the simulation of the reading and listening tests. The software on those webpages is exactly the same as that of the exams.
Thank you.

Good day members. Please for anyone who took TEF (new format) recently, how was the navigation on the computer screen during Compréhension Orale (listening)? I would also like to know your general experiences in all the test parts. Thank you.

Amakaaaaa:
mine failed as well and it kept saying verification failed. Try to contact paystack through mail and through their twitter handle and request for your transaction reference number. Once you get the number, click on the option for failed NIN verification and inpute the reference number. You will automatically be directed to the scholarship application page. That is what I did but if you don't mind spending twice, you can go for it. But it will take at most 2 days to get the reference number required. All the best.
Somebody please help me. After having filled my paystack transaction reference, my verification is not going through. Is there any format used in filling the number? I can see a permanent "ref-123456789.abcderg in the space provided. Is this pointing to something?

Hello, please I have the same issue. My NIN verification has been unsuccessful despite having paid #500 twice. The reference number generated by paystack is not going through. The response has been "verification not found".

Good day Nairalanders. I'm opening this thread to know the application status of applicants who applied for the Hungarian Government Scholarship Programme in Food Safety and Quality Engineering. I applied before the deadline, which was 28th of February, 2022.
I haven't received any message from the scholarship body to confirm or acknowledge my application. I don't know if this applies to only me or other applicants too. I'd be glad to hear from anyone who also applied for the programme. Attached to this thread is a file showing the details of the programme. Thank you.

FamilyRe: My Fiance Visited My Mother Empty-Handed & Now Our Relationship Is Threatened by Remson23: 9:47pm On Jan 08, 2021
I deeply feel irritated at reading this. Simply put, you have to change your impaired mentality. What you are fighting your boyfriend for was what I got embarrassed for doing. I regretted doing it and it still pains me anytime I remember. For clarity sake, let me share my own little experience when I visited my girlfriend's family for the first time: I went to their place on a Saturday evening. I met only my girlfriend and two of her siblings at home. She welcomed and offered me some drinks but I didn't take anything. I was told to wait for her parents that they would join us shortly. After about 45 mins her mum came back from a ceremony she went and later, her dad. My girlfriend knew that I might have a plan of giving them something but she begged me not to do anything of sort - as she found it unnecessary and ridiculous. I didn't yield to her plea. When I was about leaving, I brought out some new 500 notes (about 10k) that I purposely earmarked for the aim of giving her parents. When I handed the money to her father in the presence of the mother and my girlfriend, my girlfriend frowned immediately and felt so embarrassed that she covered her face. Her father asked why I gave them money. He blatantly told me that it was not needed. He told me to keep my money. He and the mother said to me that from their thorough observations, they like me and my personality. They gave me some words of encouragement about my life and career. They told me to always report their daughter to them anytime she does me wrong..... and that they would not spare her if found guilty. Finally, they prayed for me and told me to wait till we are ready to get married before bringing anything for them. Although I liked how they showed support for us but I still felt so embarrassed. After my meeting with them, my girlfriend was so upset with me. She asked me why I still went ahead to give them something despite the fact that she had earlier told me not to. I apologized to her and promised not to do that again. Her parents still call me till now and we still keep in touch. I pray never to have any romantic affair with someone like the OP. It would be so frustrating and annoying.
RomanceRe: I Need Your Advice About My Relationship by Remson23: 7:33am On Oct 10, 2020
Without being too harsh, let me give you some words of advice:

1. Dear brother, the moment you show a lady/woman - either through words or body language - that you can't do without her you are in for a big mess. Ladies naturally hate it when a guy cannot stand his ground or doesn't have standards. They easily smell it when they see guys with low or impaired self-esteem. I'm not a psychologist though, but I think this inclination stems from the fact that they want someone who is not just a man by mere appearance or look but one who is emotionally and psychologically mature. Please be a man!

2. Don't ever have a relationship with any one who has no respect for your family.

3. The best thing you can do for now - which I'm sure you will later thank yourself for - is to focus more on your life and future. Don't expend your energy and attention on the wrong things. Hustle to make money, but spend it on people who deserve it, and not people who believe they are entitled to it. Believe me, ladies naturally respect guys who are doing wonderfully good in their fields or endeavors.

4. Anytime you feel like reneging or going back to do what you once promised yourself never to do, try and ask yourself if heaven would fall or if life would cease to be if you stick to your resolve.

5. Lastly, the decision to either go on or quit this relationship is yours, but think about what might become of your life in the long run if you continue with it. Thank you.

Joy83:
@Remson23,
1. That depends on the available dates for CBT and your location.
2. No much difference except that you are writing your answer directly on computer. You will like it if you are comfortable with computer before now. You will enjoy it especially for Writing component. However, for Listening component, you just have to be extra.
3. No special anomaly
4. If you do CBT, result will come out between 5 to 7 days after the exam.

Having said these, review your strength and make your decision. I wish you all the best.
Thank you so much for this.
EducationRe: IELTS: Share Your Experience, Ask Your Questions, Tell Us Your Score If You Can. by Remson23: 8:05am On Aug 18, 2020
Good day Nairalanders. I really need your urgent advice on a very important issue before me. I registered for IELTS (paper-based) test through the British Council in July and I chose August 19 for the speaking test and August 22 for other categories. However, I got a test cancellation message from them yesterday August 17 stating Covid-19-related restrictions as excuse. In the message they sent to me, they asked if I would like to opt for computer-based test by indicating through a survey sent to me. These are my questions:

1. Can my opting for computer-based test speed up test reschedule, if yes, is it safe?

2. How easy is the computer-based test, what's the difference between this and the paper-based test?

3. Are there anomalies with the computer-based test that might be costly for my aim of taking the test?
4. Lastly, what candid advice do you suggest on this? I am using the test result for application to a foreign University for postgraduate study and the deadline is September 30, this year. I intend to have the test result ready by mid September. Please put me through on these. Thank you.

Hello Nairalanders, please I would like to know if the 25% administration fee removal is applicable to test cancellation on account of suspension of exam activities by the British Council. What is the steps to follow in order to process refund in this regard. Thank you.

Please you all should advise me. Should I request for a refund and register with MOD or should I still wait. Honestly confused
This is confusing! I registered with the British Council (Lagos picked as venue), but the message on my account still shows validity of test date, venue, and other arrangements - although they said all exam centers are closed for now except Lagos and Abuja. How true is this please?

SAMWISE94:
No please. 3 Different letters for each of them. All applications for each school will be different. Just click on the school and submit their requirements. Make sure you attach your Daad form to each of them. Obviously, your Daad form will be the same for the 3 school. It's like making photocopies of ur DAAD form in 3 places
Thank you for the responses. I have gone through it and I now have better understanding of about it. I hope arranging the Universities/Institutions applied to in their order of priority would not affect an applicant in the eventually shortlisting from the Universities. According to DAAD, Choice of Universities must be clearly stated on the DAAD form that would be submitted to the 3 schools arranging them according to priority (the information given on each form going to the 3 schools must be the same just like you've earlier said). If a school sees it's name as third on the list of possible 3, I hope it wouldn't affect one's chances.
TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Remson23: 11:16pm On Jun 21, 2020
SAMWISE94:
Yes u can apply to 3 different institutions. Different application documents to the 3 schools. 3 different Daad forms to the 3 schools. Regarding your second question, you can only apply for the scholarship through the schools as long as you submit the Daad form with your application together with others requirements as stated by each schools. The schools will forward your documents to DAAD. You don't need to make contact with Daad atall. Once you are selected DAAD and the school that grants you admission will contact you. I hope this helps.
Wao, thanks for this sir. Is the single letter of motivation, which must take in to account the 3 schools and the preferred order of priority required by DAAD for application different from the letter of motivation to be sent to each school?

Hello wonderful Nairalanders, thanks for the information shared so far. I want to apply for the German development-related scholarship (DAAD/EPOS) for 2021/2022 academic year. I have thoroughly gone through the application procedures, but I still have few questions. Anyone (either a scholarship holder or aspiring applicant) with the knowledge of application should please help with answers to these questions:

1. It was stated on the DAAD platform that the maximum number of courses available for application by one person is 3. I intend applying for Masters in International health, and there are 3 Institutions available for the course. Can I apply to the 3 Institutions in order to boost my chance? Would the 3 application be regarded as 1 because of same course being applied for in 3 Institutions. Would I be penalised for this?

2. It was also explained that one has to download and fill the official DAAD application form and this, together with other relevant documents, will be sent to schools being applied to. I have done so, but I can't find the link for onlIne DAAD application which would save the applicant's details with them aside the hard copy application. How do I go about this?

Your response(s) would be appreciated. Thank you.

2. Try servicom lines
Thank you for the response. please do you know any of the servicom lines linked to Ikoyi passport office?

Please, do they text you before going for capturing. And how long did it take for them to call you after submitting your file.

I submitted my file today, but it was obvious the servicom man did not spot the error I made on Time. Submitted two acknowledgement slips mistakenly instead of one acknowledged slip and payment slip.

I got the text to bring it after I had returned home .

I submitted all my docs
I did submission and capturing same day. I was told to come back for capturing, but with the long distance from my place to Ikoyi, I pleaded with them and I was allowed to do capturing. Please who has an answer to my question?

Good day folks. I have done my capturing at Ikoyi passport office. Are there numbers one can dial for questions or enquiries about date of collection? I heard from someone that most times, it's not advisable to wait for their messages before collection as this could take time. I learnt that most times they contact passport owners very late.

But I have been finding it very difficult to go to the next page. The page keeps directing me back after having filled all the compulsory and voluntary fields of information. I have been using Google chrome and other browsers too but have been to no avail.

Hello wonderful Nairalanders. I'm new on this thread and I need your help. I aspire to study in Germany and I plan to stay back and plan a better life for myself. I want to be sure about certain facts and requirements before I start my application. I don't have a sponsor in Germany. My options are scholarships and Uniassist. I would be glad if you guys can explain some things to me. These are my questions:
1. What are the deadlines for Scholarships and Uniassist?

2. If I opt for Uniassist, how much should I prepare for in order to create a block account? And is this amount the same for all schools available or does it differ between respective schools.

3. Can I work and study concurrently while in Germany and can I stay back after completing the duration of study? If yes how do I go about it?

4. I saw something about module studies where students can take one semester of courses in an area of study before enrolling in full masters studies. Is the amount for taking the module studies the same with full time? Can I decide to enroll in other schools of choice after completion of the module studies?
Thank you, your various responses would be highly appreciated.

I filled in my details as required(Jamb registration number and surname) on the pre-admission screening login page but, the page keeps showing: Invalid login details.
